When I first started this game I thought it sucked but I played it for a couple chapters and it gets addicting. Next thing I know its 4am. I highly recommend this game to anyone that likes games like oblivion and skyrim or just any rpg.

Amazing Game But With A Downfall...
This game was amazing, I played it from release and I absolutely loved it! The campaign is compelling and it allows you to use your environment as a weapon; Who else wouldn't want to cut a dragons head off with an iron gate?
The multiplayer was extremely fun! It was the most fun I had in years, conquest mode was the most amazing thing for this. (You fought in 5 different maps and depending on which faction won you went forward or back a map until you beat/lost the last level)
But there's a downfall... No one plays this game online anymore. It's a great game to have for the storyline, but not for multiplayer anymore.
They stopped playing I think around... I'd say 2010?

Just plain fun...really.
This game is severely underrated. If you like a quest where you can fight for the dark side and help them win then try this. There is even a part in the game (if dark side) that will tempt you and wish you were in this game...and she is hot.

RPG fans, avoid at all cost
I'm going to write another one because of how truly bad this game is. Please, I don't care how cheap it may be, even if it was free this game wouldn't be worth your time. This game has no business being described as an RPG, there are no RPG elements to it at all. There are 3 class choices, and they are as bland and meaningless as possible. If you are a warrior, then I hope you like swords because that's all you'll have FOR THE WHOLE GAME. No magic, no bows, no nothing. The levels are identical and interchangable, and the story is pointless and confusing. If your choices are between playing this game, or amusing yourself with a paperclip, then I guarantee you the paperclip will be a much more rewarding experience.

NOT Oblivion
I was hoping when I bought this, for a game similar to Oblivion. This was nothing like it. There's not even a currency system since you aren't ever getting opportunities to go into cities and buy things. Basically, everything you get are things you pick up as you follow the linear storyline. Not that linear is horrible, but what's frustrating about how linear this game is, is the fact that it gives you very few clues where you need to be going. There is one way to get to your main objective, but you have no idea if this is the way you should be going. No maps, unspecific objective lists, combined with the face that there is only one way to get to where you need to be make this game extremely frustrating. I spent 30 minutes at one point trying to figure out where to go. It's like a maze. The weapons you find are limited, but each different type have very different properties. The classes are also very different. I suppose that should increase the replay value, but it didn't for me. The story isn't dynamic. It's good, but it doesn't change much at all with different playthroughs. You have no choices in leveling your character. All improvements made upon level up are automatic. You have no choice in what to improve. The story is also very short. I beat the story in 2 days with casual gameplay. Yeah, there are little hidden things and achievements to get, but it's not fun enough for me to spend that much time playing it. The combat system is cool. It's kind of like a stylized Oblivion combat system. Left trigger blocks, right trigger attacks, but you get options to do things like finishing blows such as a stab to keep an undead from getting back up of the ground. You also the ability to kick which opens up opportunities for kicking someone off a cliff to their death. The graphics are good, but not amazing, and the cutscenes are less than great, but decent. Definitely a rent. It's fun for about 1 playthrough. Beat it, then take it back.

Don't buy it, all I can say!
Basically, nothing was done well in this game. Graphics are clearly last gen, maybe 2 gens ago, challenge amounts to nothing, enemies spawn, you swing your sword, then the process repeats itself. Very little customization of charecter. There are some clever one-liners for sound, outside of that, no atmoshere at all. Game is very linear, and I usually lean towards that type of game, but the concept is so simplified, boredom will set it rather quickly. The action and challenge are what weakens the game more than anything, all a player does is go from area to area, room to room, with no real difficulty, even on the hard skill setting. Bad, bad, bad all the way around. Nothing stands out about it. I bought it because there was nothing else out there I wanted to play, but I should have chose nothing instead.

Not Bad
I enjoyed it, but it's no Oblivion. I don't get why people try to compare it to Oblivion, it's not meant to be an Oblivion knock off. Therefore, PLEASE do not compare it to Oblivion, compare it to your own liking of the game. If you are expecting another oblivion type game, this is not it. This is a totally separate type of game. It's not really an RPG but it's a good game all the less. It's more linear than it is an RPG. The graphics were great a VERY interactive environment. (Picking up boxes and throwing them, cutting a rope that drops something on a party of bad guys.) It's really fun, I have already recommended this game to a lot of my friends and for *edit* it's a pretty good deal. My only real complaint is no customization, but the storyline and graphics make up for it. Please buy.

A Mess
I got this game after I beat oblivion 20 times.... This was NOTHING as I expected. Hell, I do NOT consider this to be an RPG. It is like an action/adventure game. There are only 3 classes available. Absolutely NO character customization! There were only 5 armor types that I could see, 3 of them I could wear as a warrior. The Weapons are a little better but still a fail. The only thing that halfway made it RPG was your choice between going to evil or staying good. That choice is only made several times by deciding this princess's fate, do you save her, or let her die? This game is in levels, NOT a free-roam world. That was my biggest disappointment. The environments were bland. The only thing I can say that is half way decent about the game, is the fighting cinematics. This is it's only bright side. But fighting countless hordes of zombies gets old fast, especially when the only way to make sure they don't get back up to impale them. You try doing that when 7 others are trying to kill you. Play this game only before you buy oblivion, it will make oblivion seem god-sent after playing this trash.

Good demo
I just played the demo of this game the other day and I have to say I am really impressed. Its kinda like Oblivion, but much more toned down. Its a middle class man's Oblivion. All of the fun, but nothing too technical, like all the potion making and stuff. I really liked playing as the mage. Warrior was fun too. It also has Archer and Assassin classes available. Am looking forward to the full game.
