Rated 0 out of 10 by Zardain The demo proves it is promising.
I've played the demo and it is amazing. It has the hand to hand combat of Elder Scrolls, but is more interactive. Just on the demo i got to kick a guy off a ledge, brake thru boards, kick a guy into a camp fire (and watch his lifeless body burn), and kick a guy into spikes on a wall. You can also pick up the dead bodies and throw them (but beware of picking up a burning body). The end of that mission is you killing that spider you see on the trailor shown on this page. All the stuff I have listed is stuff you hit your buttons to do, NOT buttons appear on the screen and you click it. I had to also shout arrows at a woulden beem and each arrow spawns a rope when shot at wood to get acrossed a very high drop off. There are a few things ide make better, like the effects on picking up a body, but all the things you can do and interact with is so fun I would recomend this game to anybody favoring RPGs and/or action games.

I got this game after I beat oblivion 20 times.... This was NOTHING as I expected. Hell, I do NOT consider this to be an RPG. It is like an action/adventure game. There are only 3 classes available. Absolutely NO character customization! There were only 5 armor types that I could see, 3 of them I could wear as a warrior. The Weapons are a little better but still a fail. The only thing that halfway made it RPG was your choice between going to evil or staying good. That choice is only made several times by deciding this princess's fate, do you save her, or let her die? This game is in levels, NOT a free-roam world. That was my biggest disappointment. The environments were bland. The only thing I can say that is half way decent about the game, is the fighting cinematics. This is it's only bright side. But fighting countless hordes of zombies gets old fast, especially when the only way to make sure they don't get back up to impale them. You try doing that when 7 others are trying to kill you. Play this game only before you buy oblivion, it will make oblivion seem god-sent after playing this trash.

I just ran the demo last night and it was not that bad. Graphics and sound were good. The only two issues I have with it are that (in the demo at least) you cannot invert the viewing control, I hope the full version allows this. Secondly-movement is somewhat awkward and not as smooth as Oblivion. You can get a feel for it after playing with the sensitivity a littlebut inability to invert looking is very awkward for me. All in all, I would buy it, as it seems as though it will offer up quite a bit of fun and 360 achievments. I neverplayed the PC version but everyone mentions how buggy it was. An article on Gamespot reported that Ubisoft has squashed over 800 bugs in the port to the 360 an revamed multiplayer as well. This coupled with about 2 additional hours of gameplay added to the story should make for a decent title imho.

Basically, nothing was done well in this game. Graphics are clearly last gen, maybe 2 gens ago, challenge amounts to nothing, enemies spawn, you swing your sword, then the process repeats itself. Very little customization of charecter. There are some clever one-liners for sound, outside of that, no atmoshere at all. Game is very linear, and I usually lean towards that type of game, but the concept is so simplified, boredom will set it rather quickly. The action and challenge are what weakens the game more than anything, all a player does is go from area to area, room to room, with no real difficulty, even on the hard skill setting. Bad, bad, bad all the way around. Nothing stands out about it. I bought it because there was nothing else out there I wanted to play, but I should have chose nothing instead.

I enjoyed it, but it's no Oblivion. I don't get why people try to compare it to Oblivion, it's not meant to be an Oblivion knock off. Therefore, PLEASE do not compare it to Oblivion, compare it to your own liking of the game. If you are expecting another oblivion type game, this is not it. This is a totally separate type of game. It's not really an RPG but it's a good game all the less. It's more linear than it is an RPG. The graphics were great a VERY interactive environment. (Picking up boxes and throwing them, cutting a rope that drops something on a party of bad guys.) It's really fun, I have already recommended this game to a lot of my friends and for *edit* it's a pretty good deal. My only real complaint is no customization, but the storyline and graphics make up for it. Please buy.
Rated 8 out of 10 by wtfman1969 This is a good game if given a chance.
Plenty of graphics and excellent story line that will have you actually tossing the dice for good or evil. I personally fell for the evil daughter of the devil, Zana. Play the game and you will see what I mean.
Rated 1 out of 10 by tangy RPG fans, avoid at all cost
I'm going to write another one because of how truly bad this game is. Please, I don't care how cheap it may be, even if it was free this game wouldn't be worth your time. This game has no business being described as an RPG, there are no RPG elements to it at all. There are 3 class choices, and they are as bland and meaningless as possible. If you are a warrior, then I hope you like swords because that's all you'll have FOR THE WHOLE GAME. No magic, no bows, no nothing. The levels are identical and interchangable, and the story is pointless and confusing. If your choices are between playing this game, or amusing yourself with a paperclip, then I guarantee you the paperclip will be a much more rewarding experience.
Rated 10 out of 10 by ParanormalSevn Amazing Game But With A Downfall...
This game was amazing, I played it from release and I absolutely loved it! The campaign is compelling and it allows you to use your environment as a weapon; Who else wouldn't want to cut a dragons head off with an iron gate?
The multiplayer was extremely fun! It was the most fun I had in years, conquest mode was the most amazing thing for this. (You fought in 5 different maps and depending on which faction won you went forward or back a map until you beat/lost the last level)
But there's a downfall... No one plays this game online anymore. It's a great game to have for the storyline, but not for multiplayer anymore.
They stopped playing I think around... I'd say 2010?

The demo was alot of fun to play. The graphics were good and some the game mechanics were innovative. I liked the way you could use the enviroment as a weapon. The first run of the demo was disappointing because I couldn't figure out how to invert the y-axis. It then dawned upon me that I could set up a default control scheme on my xbox live profile for action games that would allow me to invert the y-axis. I than fired the demo back up and the y-axis was inverted and I was very pleased with whole demo experience! I plan on buying this game and would recommend others to purchase it as well.
