Dance Dance Revolution Bundle
Regretting this decision
I had an older version of dance dance for the Wii that I absolutely loved. When it broke, I decided to go for something newer and bought this. That was a mistake. I started playing the game, and was disappointed to see that the highest bpm on a song was 160. If you perfer fast paced techno and Japanese pop like the arcade version, don't buy this. On the up side, the mat that came with it is good quality and doesn't slip much.
I don't like change
OK, I'm a veteran player, and I just have to say, change is not fun. I just watched the trailer and now I'm thinking "They've changed the rating system, they've changed the announcer, they've changed the interface, they've changed the gameplay appearance, WHAT'S NEXT!!" It is not fun to watch your favorite game undergo changes you don't like. If my visions are correct KONAMI will completely forget about their originals and Dancemania and just use so-called "mainstream" music for all their new games. If these visions truly ARE correct I will have lost all hope for this series and find something else for me to enjoy... If KONAMI doesn't change their ways with their design and songlist, I might just forget all about this game and find joy elsewhere... Personally, I would just try many of the older PS2 games, certainly before DDR X, or even the 2nd SuperNOVA. Just please, if you're a veteran like me, stick with the past, and don't ever, EVER forget it like they say you should.
best dance revolution ever!!!!!
have 4 the ps3 and its awesome.
special 4 those who like exercise.
perfect 4 cardio.
Basic, but good!
The only other review didn't quite do this game justice. If you're on the fence about buying this game, purely because you thought DDR sounded fun or because you've played before you won't be disappointed. It's a DDR game. You dance to music and there are a few different game types you can play. I'm not saying it's the greatest one, but it is good. So for $40, I would just do it.
Worst DDR ever played
I was highly upset with the results of this dance dance dance revolution. Overall, I found this game to be way too easy for me (I play heavy mode) and I could easily AA every song without any struggle. Above heavy mode, you have challenge mode which throws in diagonal arrows into the game which is absurd. If I wanted to go play In the Groove still, I wouldn't be buying DDR. I would only recommend this game for people that are novice at this game because experts will be upset with the results of this DDR.
Hopefully the dance pad isn't a flimsy thing. It probably will be though..
i seen the videos for this one and I'm a fan of DDR excited about the release
This is going to be great and a new revalution for games!
