Rated 8 out of 10 by RedWings Great inprovement over Titans.
As a hardcore Crash fan, I didn't like Titans very much because it was so different from previous titles (it wasn't bad, though). When I got Mind Over Mutant, I didn't think it would be any better, nor did I think any changes from Titans would be made. But boy was I wrong. Immediatley you'll notice how much this game improves over Titans. The mojo system improved greatly. No longer does it give double tre pieces of mojo with the same value. Instead, there are different pieces of mojo with more value. You also get a mojo multiplier whenever you land a hit, but be warned, if you get hit in combat, the entire multiplier goes away. And the combat just feels more free flowing. And the BIGGEST improvement made, is that it's open world. In Titans it took you from level to level, which I thought was really boring, but this game you can free roam, even after you complete the main quest. I loved this game, and I really wished there was going to be a seqel to it, but it doesn't look good. But maybe someday where will be. And if they use this type of style and gameplay, it will be great.

I played an incomplete version of the game nearly all weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con this year. It was at the fancy Ghostbusters booth if you didn't see it! Fans of 'Crash of the Titans' will find the altered controls to take a little getting used-to, but it was to support all the new moves you're going to have for your Titans- Included in the mix is full platforming abilities for them- like jumping and stuff! Another thing to mention are the cutscenes being in a rainbow assortment of different cartoon and anime styles and the ones I've seen look really impressive! I don't remember if I saw the dragonball-styled cutscene yet, but the thumbnail preview at the cutscene replay menu was hilarious! Oh, and when you play, check out the fan art on some of the walls!

With this game and the previous Crash Activision continues to try and destroy the franchise I grew up on. Crash Bandicoot was the first game I ever played and since the original 1-3 and team racing companies have passed the Crash title around and they have only gotten worse I rather the Crash Bandicoot series die out then continue to destroy the Crash Bandicoot franchise I loved.
Rated 1 out of 10 by BlopZ Crash Bandicoot? More like Trash Bandicoot
Crash used to be the greatest, funnest game out there til Crash of the Titans.. Well this is a sequel to that game and it makes me want to kill myself. Growing up, i had all the new crash games. Now i just want to cry because they ruined the greatest game on the planet. You want a good crash bandicoot game? go buy Crash 1,2 and 3 then go play Twinsanity. those are probably the best ones out there.
Rated 9 out of 10 by USSpartan Fun, but difficult at times.
I enjoyed all the crash games, from 1 to Mind Over Mutant. I will admit that at times in game, the going get really tough, but eventually you beat the part. Then you get lost, pain in the butt.
But over all, this is a rent not a buy unless you really love crash.

Rated 8 out of 10 by andrewpbeast Crash Into This Game
XBox 360 is mainly used for violent, hardcore games such as Call of Duty or Halo. The only exception is sports games. What happened to the days of playing beloved platformers? Well, if you miss those days, you will probably enjoy this game. It may not be a top quality adventure game, but it is a fun, yet different, open world platformer that will entertain you. -----GRAPHICS----- The graphics in this game are not supposed to be realistic. Crash Bandicoot is a cartoon, and the cut-scenes prove it. But the graphics still look good. -----FEATURES----- The game just has the story mode. No extra modes. But, that is not such a bad thing. You can tell they put a lot of time into it. The cut-scenes are done great and are presented in different styles. The main game is actually very long, and will take hours to complete. When you beat the main game, there are many side quests and achievements to complete, so the game is pretty lengthy. -----GAME-PLAY----- The game plays pretty good. You walk around in an open world. The game indicates where you go, and you pass by jumps and hazards to get through. Enemies try to attack you, but the most interesting part of this game is when you encounter a mutant. You can actually take control of them after beating them up. You can then use their powers against your enemies and to get through parts of the game. It's a pretty cool addition that makes this platformer unique. Also, the game features 2 player co-op, so a friend can drop in and out at any time to play with you. Unfortunately, the co-op is not online, so you have to play side-by-side on the same unit. PROS: Nice cartoon visuals, good cut-scenes, fun platforming, taking over mutants is unique and enjoyable, co-op is nice, lengthy story mode, plenty of side-missions. CONS: Can get repetitive, some small glitches, only the story mode. CONCLUSION: This is a fun platformer which is great to play as a break from all of the violent and gore filled games you are probably playing. It may not be the perfect platformer, but you will have fun playing it, and that is all that matters.
