CONFLICT: DENIED OPS is set in today's volatile political climate, focusing on two covert field operatives, experts in weapons and military tactics. The game allows players to switch seamlessly, at any point, between these two operatives to lay down covering fire, explore diverging paths through the levels, create distractions and pin the enemy under fire. Making full use of Pivotal's new Puncture Technology, the game features a highly destructible environment, allowing players to shoot through walls to create sniping holes or blast through walls to take the enemy by surprise. Taking place in politically sensitive areas across South America, Africa and Russia, CONFLICT: DENIED OPS features an intuitive command system, non-stop action and Hollywood-esque explosive moments throughout.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ok??? First off the game starts right off into a mission. The controls cant be changed to traditional shooter controls at all. everyone is used to 2 trigger aim and shoot, not push the joystick and trick shooting. DON'T like how your stuck with only a couple weapons. Its just that it definitely could of been thought out better on how to make it. Has a good plot and story line behind it. But, im a guy who likes to play the game thru the campaign some and than thru the online have friends play. Nobody seems to have this game. So, it must have been bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Game. The storyline actually makes sense for each mission. As you get deeper into the game Targets pop up quicker and quicker. Moving the cursor to the site on the map tells you how much further you have to get to complete the current goals. Playing with 2 players in splitscreen mode is great too. Way better then haveing to go online to play with your friends. The industry should start to put out more multi player games like this, for playing on one console. Diablo for playstaion is another great multiplayer game. Please pay attention, Most of the game players out there would like to have a decent game to play when friends visit, not just to play against online. And I mean this as an adult. I do have online access when I am by myself, but only the sports titles really offer variety for multiplayers. Anyway, back to this game. There are a few downsides here but not many. Biggest gripe I have is the HSM rocket launcher. HSM stands for Heat seeking Missle. In this game the missle never locks. Against harrier jets, and helicopter gunships, It sometimes takes 12-18 tries to actually hit with one of these missles. When you can only carry 3 at a time and must then find a resupply chest, it gets annoying. Especially when it is at the end of the mission, You hit this part about 45 minutes before you Need to go to slep for work the next day, and find yourself going a half hour past your bedtime, and having to turn it off and replay through the whole mission the next time you have to play. There should be a definate way to save each checkpoint, so if reality rears its head, you can restart close to where you were, not have to replay the whole mission. The controls are vastly superior to most other shooter games, that are fast pace... Only control I wish was diffrent, was up close melee button. I get knocked out more often then they do because my reaction to them being right in front always makes me fumble to hit the A button. Stealth mode is pretty easy for Graves, the sniper. Lang only has a silenced pistol, so it is tougher for him to stay alive while being silent and sneaking around. Since he carries a light machine gun, maybe his should have a silencer attached. as an upgrade. Thats the other good thing about this game, as you complete each mission, your weapons gain new abilities. Everyone who enjoys being a sneak should enjoy this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Conflict Denied Ops denies some excitement This game offers players the ability to wisp through the levels blasting the enemy. The player can switch between a soldier hero with a machine gun or an army veteran with a sniper rifle. If players want a two player action packed game, then this game is for you. This game requires tactics and stealth in certain levels. There are objectives required to passing each mission. The downside to this game is there is not many choices offered to the player. For all of those players who prefer the quick game option, this game is most definitely for you. The game seems to do everything for you. The ammo is unlimited, however you have to re-stock at a certain room. Players looking for a quick action packed game with some excitement, give this game a chance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy.... Was looking for a multi-player FPS for me and my brother to check out. Picked up this crap. ONLY plus side to it is infinite ammo but the down side... Your stuck with a weapon for each character. You can't pick up a dead opponents weapon to assist the best suited weapon for the field at hand. The Sniper Rifle is more realistic, meaning it's really bouncy when adjuting, and the assualt rifle recoils like there's no tomorrow, making shooting a rushing enemy a obstacle. You can never clear a battlefield, opponents just seem to appear from behind you from nowhere and kill you. You have to heal (Press A above their body) your wounded/downed ally, which can easily get you killed while trying to revive them. The battlefield can be destructive, which is both good and bad. Enemies seem to know to destroy your surroundings, leaving you open to fire from all directions. Graphics are decent. Didn't play too much of it to fully understand the story. Controlls are meh, if your used to games such as, Halo 1-3, Gears of War, Army of Two, etc. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommened picking this up unless you found it in a garage sale . I returned it within 2 days.
