This game is off the charts, but it is extremely challenging, maybe to challenging for a game like this. I was playing the first level of the game and I could still not get passed the really tough guards with the heavy shields. Then the guards start attacking you constantly when you can only kill one at a time. Anyways the graphics are pretty good to show a 2008 game. The sound was pretty good but could of been improved though. Interface was okay but that could of been improved to. The length of the game is great, but this game does have similarities to god of war. When you get health in this game, you have to break open boxes to get health, and the health is green and red orbs. And conan has to rescue a couple of caged prisinors and one of them looked like kratos from god of war. Anyways I would reccommend this game to a friend or family member. Just notice that this game is not easy and you will not zip right thorough it. This is why i like this game alot.

This game is for ADULT gamers; seriously, do not let your child play or watch this game. Ron Pearlman lends his voice as Conan the Barbarian and does a fantastic job. A Hack & Slash God of War clone using the Conan license, the game is a few hours of mindless fun. The graphics look good, the story is interesting, and the game is fun...for a while. It rehashes itself too early and too often and loses some of its appeal. Conan slices limbs off with glee and there's more blood flying around in this game than in a Saw movie. The game is pretty simple, but some of the boss battles are hard as heck. The game is now only $5 and for that price you can't go wrong. It's not a Red Dead Redemption caliber game, but for $5 it doesn't need to be. It's a fun escape and is worth picking up to play around with for a weekend. But like I said in the beginning of this review - keep it away from the eyes, and out of the hands, of children.

This was a really good game. If you liked God of War, this is a game you'll really enjoy. It's a shame it didn't sell better because it's a lot of fun. The combat is very polished, the bosses are clever and the story is fairly engaging. Plus, you get to be Conan, who is a hero worthy of a game like this. I'd definitely recommend picking this up if you want a fun game to blow through for a few days. For a used copy it's like $2.70 right now, so you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

Attention all citizens do not get! I don't think this game would be able to satisfy the needs of people who want a long meaningful game. The graphics are awesome but it is too short. It has a similarity to God of War but it is nowhere near the same. It has a good storyline but at times it leaves those who play it in the dark. Besides from the violence there is a great deal of nonsense that goes on with the game. There are no real challenges in the game. I beat it on king mode difficulty and beat it in about 6 hours total and died 3 times. It is most easy on easy but even on the hardest difficulty I was still able to kick butt. I've had this game since Monday and I have already beaten it twice. It is too small a storyline. If you want to get this game, rent it. Don't pay the high price for it.

I've tried playing sword games before and did'nt get into them. This game grabbed me early and stayed interesting. The bad guys are not too difficult until you get a group of them. The BOSSES, of course are tougher but only a couple of them require any real thought. Lots of moves to learn and Matster. There are lots of different weapons and many weapon combinations. The best moves come when you block a hit effectively. There is magic, 4 different spells which come in handy from time to time. The graphics are good not great, not much of a sound track, but the story is good, the controls are easy and very responsive. Reload times are way too long and the pause menus are glitchy. The gameplay, however, is not glitchy. Overall I really enjoyed the game and I would recommend it to others.

I downloaded the demo and I must say I'm am very pleased with what I played, The graphics are awesome, especially on my 47 inch 1080p LCD I mean the art direction is amazing also worth mentioning is that Ron Perlman is the voice of Conan and from what I gathered from the demo his voice fits perfect for the role, The control's are great the combat is ferocious and very very bloody! I'm also a bit annoyed with people saying this game is a GOW rip off (You people think Krato's started the hack n slash Genre) but it's a 100% pure action hack n slash game that is just ruthless in every department, if you haven't already download the demo and you won't be disappointed and one more thing Conan's wrath is far more gruesome and entertaining then Krato's will ever be.

The game play feels very similar to God of War and with the different weapon combinations it never really gets old. It is a pretty good action adventure game with decent level design. The story didn't really hold me but it was still fun to play.

Conan in my opinion is a unique take on the hack n slash genre. It has all the inquiries from the films but a brand new story telling the legend of Conan: The Barbarian. this game has a great skill system in which you earn red runes by breaking treasure chests, saving maidens, and defeating enemies. Conan also offers several cheats that all become available once you beat the game on Hard mode. You will also unlock another cheat Whilst beating King mode. -NOTE- that once you beat the game your stats will not carry over so if wanna grab all the achievements i advise to play on Easy to get a feel for it and then play on Hard and King modes. But all in all this is a great game and for only $5 pre-owned it's well worth it.

When I first heard that there was going to be a game of everyone's favorite barbarian, I admit that I was a bit skeptical. Oh, the many times I have been burned on such games where well known characters are fianlly given a game of their own. So, with a bit of trepidation, I bought the game, and found myself pleasantly surprised. The graphics are very well done. Maybe not what one would expect for a next generation console, but if you are looking for a "comic book: feel then you've come to the right game. The cut away scenes are excellent and lend to the storyline. The action is great. If you are looking for a hack and slash game with a gratifying amount of blood spilled, then thsi is the game for you. As you plat, your earn "tokens" for each adversary you kill. Red tokens can be spent like money for upgraded skills. These upgraded skills are very gratifying when done correctly. As you do them you earn your way to mastering them. As you go through the game, explore every area. You never know where there will be a damsel to be rescued or a treasure chest full of red tokens to be opened. If you see an off shooting path, take it. You never know what you find. The only problem I had with this game is the total lack of camera control. But that is the only problem. And since this game is now affordably priced, there is no reason not to get it.
