Okay first off this game is so much different then any game i have ever ever played! You are this team of "Jerichos" (a team with unnatural powers) and you are sent to stop the first born(a creature that was sent into the abyss from god). It has come back and is taking a piece of history each time it is risen. You go into different parts of history and fight different creatures. Not a big variety of enemies but that is okay. The gunfire and powers make up for it. From a flaming dragon that shoots off Diego's hand to slowing time. This game is so interesting and very very creepy. The creatures are crazy too they are smart and they pack a punch(if played on hard). The game is long and very addictive i personally could not put this game down for the life of me until i beat it and found out what happened to them. I cannot believe this game doesn't have a better rating. It may not be long but it is well worth the $5 and I would most definitely refer this to anyone who likes shooters.

I only bought this because I'm a fan of Clive Barker and I was interested in seeing the creatures/enemies he thought up for the game. The characters are pretty decent monsters and humans alike, the graphics do not stoop to the level of a ps2 in any way; they're up to par with my expectations for Xbox 360. The storyline was pretty creative and at times I did actually find myself jumping in the midst of an erie walk through the dark halls of what appears to be Hell. The voiceovers in this game are somewhat hard to understand due to major distortion to add a creepy effect, or the music simply being too loud for the cut scenes. I would like to warn anyone that this game is not a walk in the park, it is more challenging than most first person shooters on the market, and sometimes you'll find yourself attempting to kill a small horde of enemies a few times over. In all, if you're a fan of horror survival, or just first person shooters, I would recommend this game. It is creative, interesting and way underrated in my opinion.

so i had five bucks in my pocket and decided to give this game a try , i avoided it for awhile due to negative reviews. At first it was rather boring but i kept on playing it i believe once i got the game core mechanics down , thast when i actually started really enjoying this game, yea it has flaws but it is also different from the rest which is a positive in my book. not to mention The King of Twisted horror Clive Barker had his twist in this, think Hellraiser movie series i found the graphics to be quite good for the time , and its still not bad today. Back to the gameplay this game requires you to switch between team mates to better use there specific attributes at first its confusing and overwhelming , but the more you play the more you become accustom to each unique characters strength and weaknesses , I loved the vision of Clive Barkers Nightmarish worlds, so all that being said i rather enjoyed it , didnt put it down till i beat it , which is rare for me these days , so if you have 5 bucks and you want a decent ,different shooter i recommend Jericho .

As far as shooters go, this one hits the mark in certain areas, and completely misses them in others. The game was written by Clive Barker, who had written a game prior to this one called Undying, which was a complete success. This one might not be due to some major flaws. First off is the controls, they stink. They feel to stiff to be any fun, and the way you use your powers takes some getting used to. Also a problem is the interface. When you need to switch between characters, its a chore to do so. You have to use multiple buttons in order to choose who you want to be next. I'm not really getting to much into the story at all, mostly because I didn't really follow it. The real high point of this game is the graphics and sound. The game looks beautiful, wheter you are looking at it from a standerd def tv or not, its breathtaking beautiful, not quite GEARS OF WAR, but very close. The sound is also great, with sound effects that make you cringe when hearing something growl at you. Its all got a creepy feeling to them. All in all, this is good, just not great.

So, obviously if you liked Clive Barkers previous works, your going to love this game. Coming from a mind like Clive Barker, what kind of horror fan wouldn't enjoy it. The story is great and entertaining with characters that you can relate to. The challenge is somewhat low the graphics are amazing with great textures, but weak face animations. The one problem with the game that i had was the character selection. The names that you choose from in the in game menu are referred to from their last names. When during the game, the characters refer to each other by there first. This can make it difficult to know which character your switching to. After a while you'll get to know the characters better and you'll know who your switching to, but with so much going for this game, its hard not to forgive them for it. I strongly recommend this game to fans of Clive Barker or to anyone who enjoys horror/shooters.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Game crazy Awesome!!!
The first thing that grabbed my attention was how these military people were skilled in conventional and occult warfare. I thought that was really cool. The storyline was alright and so were the graphics. I mean I still think it could have been a little better being how this is an xb360 and the graphics were more playstation 2. Everything else though I thought was really cool and how you can switch characters and use their abilities. My favorite person to use was Lt. Black. She's telekinetic and she does this one move called ghost bullet that let's you steer the bullet in mid air so you can take out multiple enemies with one shot. The other thing I thought was cool was how you can be brought back to life though Ross's healing abilty or Rawlings ghost heal. After beating the game I was satisfied and recommend it to anyone that likes horror games or games that make you jump off your seat.

I have recently purchased this product for Christmas, and I read the reviews and thought it would still turn out good. I was right. This game is amazing, can get kind of slow though, the challenge isn't very hard, it's just a normal game. Similar to Halo 3 on Normal. I really enjoyed the story line, it is based off a book, I think that is fascinating. The graphics in this game are outstandingly magnificent. I enjoyed the quality of the sound and graphics, they went good with the gameplay. In conclusion, you can rent this game, or buy it, but I warn you, if you rent it, you will be wanting more and more. This is an amazingly overwhelming, outstanding game. It was well made and the controls are easy. The responsiveness of your team mates is not quite "perfect", but it prevents them from soloing the game for you, so you can enjoy the fun. Get this game, I hope you enjoy playing it!

I have played the demo and some things are really good and new. For example the new guns and abilities are different and i think will let people create new methods of playing. The story is what interests me the most im not going to give much away but it going to get much more bloody. The graphics in the game are alright the environment is dark sort of like doom 3 but what really takes the spot light are the monsters or creatures you must face. The detail on them including the lighting was done really well. One part of the demo which was cool was when u go down a well like hole and a monster follows and the only way to survive is hitting the right buttons to safely make it to the bottom and counter attack the monster. All in all i say play the game first to see if it is your style and if i had to rate the demo it would be a 8.75 close to a 9.

I thought that this would be a good game, thought it would be worth the money i put into it but i was wrong. The game gets boring after awhile because you do the same actions over and over. The sound is nothing great and graphics arent the best for 360. The controls are terrible, i swear you could play the game with a controller with one hand. It is neat how you can change between characters, my favorite was the priest with the duel desert eagles, he was a bad mamma-jamma. I didnt care for the games levels either, they all seem the same!!! O and whenever you kill a dude these werid flies sounding things eat it or something, sometimes the flies try to eat the dead bodies but end up thorwing it up into the air, whats that about? All in all i would steer clear of this game but if you are interested, rent it first.
