Product Details:

Child of Eden is the "multi-sensory shooter" that will send players diving into a kaleidoscopic matrix of synchronized music and mind-blowing visuals that will usher forth yet another landmark game experience from the mind of renowned game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, its creator. Child of Eden thrusts you in the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories. As the project nears completion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus. The Player's mission is to save Eden from the virus to restore hope and peace.

  • MULTI-SENSORY EFFECT - A visionary entertainment experience that synchronizes stunning graphics and innovative sound design to electrify the senses. By bringing physics in synergy with spectacular visual and audio, Child of Eden is creating the next-generation sensory experience
  • THE WORLD OF EDEN - Coming straight from Mizuguchi-san's mind: unique, surprising, rich and beautiful.
  • CONTROLS - Simple & natural. Designed for standard controllers and Xbox 360's new KINECT controller. KINECT controller adds an extra dimension to the experience as you truly merge into the game, with no physical barriers between the game world and you. Use your body to move the camera, and both hands to lock-on and shoot for a completely new and multi-sensory shooting game experience.

Game Informer Rating:

Rated 8.0 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wicked graphics with awesome soundtrack!!! This is the most graphically intense game I have ever played! The soundtrack just adds to the already awesome experience. I love that you have a choice of playing it with the kinect or controller. Personally, I prefer the kinect because it's more challenging. I think it's a little too easy with the controller. Over all, this is a great game to own...!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is "the" Kinect shooter I really love playing this game, whether I'm using the controller or Kinect (though I'm better with Kinect). It has amazing graphics & music, & it's a great experience to play through all of it to get the Lumi's Garden rewards, I like those. ^=^

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic party game I bought a kinect because of this game and it was well worth the dough. Child of Eden(from the creator of Rez) can be compared to the various other psy-shooters available on the arcade, I.E. Rez, Geo Wars Retro Evo AND E4, in terms of trippy visuals, an amazing trancie EDM soundtrack, and solid control system with both controller and kinect. Visually CoE puts it down so hard it will blow your mind man. If you like intense colors, flashes, pulsing lights, basically raves you'll love CoE. Boasting the sounds of the games creators band the Genki Rockets CoE delivers an epic soundtrack the evolves as the level progresses similar to GWRE and will not leave you hanging. Kinect controls leave nothing to be desired once you get the conditions right and can also be played from a sitting position as the player only uses their hands to combat millions of crazy little trippy data bits seeking to corrupt Project Lumi. Veterans of Rez will have no problems with the controller mechanics which flow smooth and evenly(sometimes I'd even go for a controller over the kinect if high scores are the goal). Another feature that makes this game a great choice is that even though the game only boasts 5 levels those levels change every time you play them providing greater replay value because you are never really playing the same level twice. All in all this game lands a solid 10 in my book but I do give this warning: It is a short play, $40 for basically an arcade game on roids, you will probably be pressured into buying a kinect by your gamestop dude, don't invite anyone who can have light or sounds based seizures when you play, and if you don't like carzy rail shooters like rez or panzer dragoon you wont like this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A terribly pointless game The graphics are cool--but the game play is terrible. Round after boring round of the same pointless play. Bought and returned it the same day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gaming experience Was a bit skeptical on this one, but the graphics and overall gaming experience is immaculate. I also love the option to play with the kinect sensor or the xbox 360 controller. Definately glad with this Kinect title!
