Product Details:

As Vincent, a man recently succumbed to the irresistible beauty of the game's titular diversion, players find themselves swept into a treacherous love triangle. Catherine's core themes those of free will, of the delicate nature of relationships and the choices we make within them, marry perfectly with the intense, terrorfilled gameplay that serves to accurately reflect Vincent's growing sense of anxiety. It is an experience wholly unlike any to come before it, and is certain to leave gamers talking and thinking about Vincent's tribulations long after the credits have rolled.

The Horrors of Love: Vincent's waking fears, doubts, pressures, and growing guilt about commitment and fidelity now gleefully follow him into his dreams, manifesting as horribly disfigured monsters and a ticking clock.

Between a Rock and a Soft Place: The player must navigate Vincent through heavy moral decisions. As in real life, hardly anything is black and white. What is the value of honesty? What is the right thing to do? Either way, someone's going to get hurt. Worse yet, someone could die.

The Nightmare of Your Dreams: Famed character artist Shigenori Soejima and master composer Shoji Meguro create sights and sounds unlike anything else. As unforgettable and original as the game's narrative, Catherine's visual direction and musical score define and perfectly complement Vincent's terrifying ascent into the dizzying perils of love.

Escape With or From a Friend: Local competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, in addition to leaderboards, ensure that the many thrills and horrors of racing through twisted stages can be enjoyed by more than one player and add hours of extra gameplay to the overall experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If You Like Puzzles and Smoky Romance... Catherine is sexy, fun, and a challenge. You can decide to be faithful to your lover or to your own desires and the gameplay is a lasting appeal. The puzzles in the game are challenging but not to an extent to where you'll give up in frustration, it'll keep you wanting to play. The graphics are GREAT especially if you're a fan of the anime style. Catherine will is a babe-game and girl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it! I'm a woman but I've been dying to play this game forever. The target audience is male, cause you know there are the saucy scenes (Nothing obscene, you just get sent a few photos. Everything's covered but it is racy.) I didn't mind but the story really drew me in, It has more depth than you'd think. It was a fairly short game it took me about a day to complete and I'm pretty bad at games (I was playing on easy though, so there's still tons of challenge for more skilled players) It's puzzle based and it has a cool story line. The only thing I can really say I didn't care for was near the end of the game there were consistent bells when you were trying to complete a puzzle was driving me a little mad. It's very hard to concentrate with the bells and that's probably just me. I think they did it for a reason though, because the higher up in levels you got the louder it seemed to be. Which is understandable when you start to play and the story starts to unfold. It was just a little rattling to me that the bells were louder than everything. My advice is for anyone who is going to get the game, talk to all the sheep at every stage. You really learn a lot about the characters through it. Talk to everyone in the bar. The stories really made the game for me and gave it a breath of life. Sure the game would be great without it and the puzzles are fun but it kind of gave me perspective. *KINDA SPOILER* It just got to me how all of those men could be judged but no one really understood why they do what they're doing to begin with. It doesn't make what they do right but it gives me a lot of perspective. Plus I really liked the ending!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great game I bought this game last month and man it has a great storyline but the puzles are prety easy at first then the further you get the longer and harder they get and it can be frustrating at times, it takes alot of patients and planning and if you are a puzle fan this is for you but you have to be on you p's and q's through the game but it is worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Unique Marvel In Its Own Genre When I first heard of Catherine, I was amazed at the uniqueness of it. i was never really a fan of puzzle games, but WOW was I impressed. Catherine literally creates its own genre. It's a perfect blend of so many genres that it makes your heart skip a beat. And Atlus producing it was the icing on the cake. I knew from just seeing screenshots and reading bits and pieces of the plot that it would be amazing. And it is. Atlus, never stop making games because you are just as unique as Catherine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best game I've ever played. I am blown away by how good this game is. The story is mind-blowing, the gameplay is challenging to say the least, but the beauty really lies in the attention to detail. You can just tell that the makers of this game spent countless hours on everything. I'm so glad I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very fun and interesting but unbalanced. Definitely great puzzles and story. Love all the different endings. But the puzzles tend to change from laughably easy to impossible without help. The camera during nightmares can also be irritating, especially during bosses. Other than those two flaws this game is incredible and memorable! The story is about Vincent, the hero, being afraid to commit to his gf Katherine. He ends up cheating on her with a young girl named Catherine. Afterwards he starts having nightmares where if he dies in his dream, he'll die in real life: a problem affecting many men lately.(This is where the puzzles start!) During the day you get to use your phone and talk to people at a bar to change Vincent's future. I won't give away any spoilers but this game is worth picking up

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for Everyone This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. I will say it was a challenge to complete. Even on easy, this game proved to be quite the challenge. It has one of the best soundtracks for a video game that I've heard. If you don't have patience, skip this game as it will drive you insane. If you do, pick this up. You won't regret it.
