Rated 8 out of 10 by Sarhtaz Full of Flaws but Fun!
After the absolute epic Call of Duty 2, Call of duty 3 falls short in every single possible category with only one exception to make this review worth while. Mainly due to the switch from Infinity Ward to Treyarch for developers, Call of Duty 3 is full of flaws, poor graphics, and poor gameplay. The video attached is a better example of the poor gameplay which words can't describe. The only aspect of this game that makes it worth while is the Multiplayer. Especially when friends are present Call of Duty 3 provides a new laid-back approach during Multiplayer gameplay. Call of Duty 3 is not a game for hard-core gamers. This game is recommended for groups of friends or casual gamers looking for a laid-back World War II game. Unfortunately that is all that can be said of Call of Duty 3 positively, everything else is pretty bad. If you don't mind poor graphics, some flaws, and a laid-back experience Call of Duty 3 is the game for you.

This game is relatively old, but the game never ceases to amaze me. This game has top graphics for the year and the sound quality is more realistic than i've heard in some more modern games. Campaign is amazing, first and only call of duty to have a depth in character and focus on making characters as real as possible. Campaign is fun, varied, and will have you on edge. Next is multiplayer which is my favorite part. IT IS AMAZING. The style of game is amazing. The games are individually made by the player to your wants, and you find a game that suits your wants. The game has MANY good maps (just DONT download any DLC, as you will be for the most part alone, and is a waste of money) The game is oodles of fun online. I honestly prefer this games multiplayer over Halo 3, Halo Reach, CoD 4,5,6,7 and homefront. It is a GOOD game. Buy if you are an old game junkie, or just want to explore the past of the Call of Duty Series

i bought this game one day and started playing it right away. it is a good challenge even on the easiest level. the multiplayer isnt the best though. the maps are too big and u can never find anyone. it should at least show where the opponents are on the maps, i mean come on, u cant find any one. the only reason i like this game is because of the campaign. it has sweet graphics and actually makes it seem like u are in war. some of the guns look real but some dont. the bar looks nothing like it does in the newer call of duties. some guns don't even do any damage. my friend will shoot me with a sniper rifle and ill die with 1 shot. then ill shoot him 2 times in the head with the same gun he uses on me and it wont kill him. i like the other call of duty games better except the first one. it was horrible. but overall this is a decent game for anyone who wants a challenge the next couple weeks. 8 out of ten 4 me.
Rated 5 out of 10 by bobson Dissapointment after CoD2
When CoD: FH hit I was a HUGE FAN! And when CoD2 came out for xbox360, another HUGE FAN, but I have to say...CoD 3 MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT, these are soldiers, being blown apart and the most vulgar thing I've hear said is "freakin" I'm not too much for the language-ridden video games, but cmon! The controls are an embarrassment, I mean please! Keep the controls the same from game to game, and keep them simple, even the "Legacy" controls don't add up to basic CoD FH or CoD 2 controls! Their are few "pros"The graphics are pretty good, but seem choppy in a minor way. Lighting is pretty dark in the beginning levels, so you might wanna manually up the brightness on your TV, Already own CoD FH or CoD 2? Buy Modern Warfare or world at war, NOT CoD 3, unless you are a die-hard CoD fan...if your not allowed to play MW or WaW buy MoH: Airborne, very challenging and GOOD controls.
Rated 2 out of 10 by CaptainMidnight Not as good as the others
The COD games that I own+love are: COD2, COD4 Modern Warfare, COD World at War. I LOVED these 3...so I had to get another. I just started COD 3, and I'm not anywhere as happy as I was with the others. COD 3 has good graphics+good sound, but these are diminished by it's flaws.......COD 3 has these problems(so far): 1)Can't skip over the movie scenes-so if you want to resume a saved game, you have to watch them. All the other games I could skip the movie parts. 2) The sound freezes A LOT more than the other COD games I listed. 3) You get shot even when you are behind cover like tall grass(MG42's were about 50 yards away...I was behind tall grass+got shot like I was out in the open---also, was in a bunker w/no one around+I was getting shot???). 4) Aim is off compared to the other COD games I listed. 5) I shot a guy 50 TIMES(at close range) and he didn't die till I got right next to him! 6) No noise indicator when you pick up ammo-that really sucks! All of these combined make me regret buying the game!!! Hope all this wasn't caused by my Xbox Live download-I did the Live download w/all the other games+they work fine.

okay this COD game just dissapointed me big time.i mean the graphics are good but the sound sometimes is weird.i mean you get a sense that theres something wrong with this game that you don't like.also its confusing cause they just jump the storyline to other contries you fight for.so the storyline is not the best and you could get confused with it at times.you fight for american, canadian, british, and polish theres a-lot of people you fight for.the challenge was okay.they also added like real hand to hand combat like sometimes you just walk in a building door and a nazi just pops in your face and you guys fight with your hands and your guns i found that really interesting.the online gameplay is bad and a little good they added tanks and cars for you to use in multiplayer.but sometimes that ruins everything because you are trying to destroy a tank but then the tank just keeps on blowing you up.well its up to you if you want to buy this game but in my opinion i really don't know because this game has new features like hand to hand combat and more and its a little bit exciting at times but it could be a bad game to for me.

This game was pretty good. I have to say COD2 was better than 3. 3 was really easy. I rented it just to give it a try. I beat the game in about 3 days, and that was just play a couple of hours each day. It wasn't playing it the whole day being obsessed with it. COD2 was better because it had a better story line than 3, I thought and I felt that 2 was more of a challenge than this one. The one thing that I liked about 3 better than 2 is that you could turn multiplayer in 3 into just yourself roaming in any of the vehicles on that level. Speaking of vehicles that is one of the things that I liked better in 3 than 2 that in 3 during multiplayer you have vehicles that you can drive. but over all, I would say just follow the series and get 2 then 3, but if you think that 2 was easy, just skip 3 and go to 4 unless you want to just follow the series.
Rated 10 out of 10 by smelly_egg_face Cool Game
Great game for any one who can't play call of duty 4 or 5. #1 The cussing isn't very bad. #2 Not much blood, and you can turn it off. #3 If you have been wondering about World War 2 here is the game for you! Any 13 year old and up should play it. This game will take you through history and make you feel what it is like to be a soldier or see what relatives did and what they learned about. It has pretty good graphics. Gameplay is awesome. I got this game when i was 12 (now i'm 14) and i thought it would have a lot more cussing, but it wasn't much at all either. The blood i loved and i still do. I think its cool and everything but the thing is you get addicted to it for 1-2 days tops. I'm just saying Any 13 year-old is mature enough to play it. Maybe i'm wrong, maybe even 12. I'm not sure somewhere in there though.
Rated 10 out of 10 by minorso852 AWESOME GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well i got this game yesterday and i friggin love it.Sometimes it kind of gets boring because you just shoot Germainians every few seconds.I am almost done with this game and i am really impressed. The first thing is graphics. The graphics are amazing. This game may have been made in 2006 but the game looks like it was made in 2010.Next is the sound. The sound is also really good.Sometimes you may not be able to hear anything but it is rally good. The gameplay is also really good too.The controls are really awesome and it is really easy to remember. This game also has a lot of good weapons. My favorite is the sniper and the machine gun.And on this game you can also drive some of the vehicles including the tank. You can also shoot from a vehicle. That's all i have 2 rite so peace out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rated 4 out of 10 by mitchinator Not Really Call of Duty...
COD 3 was by far the worst game of the series. It seemed a bit too realistic to be Call of Duty. There were hardly any set pieces, and the game had some fairly slow points. Also, there were cutscenes which made the game seem more like an action game instead of a war shooter. The game does absolutely nothing. First things first. This game looked great for it's time. Explosions had a great flare to them and character animations were solid. However, now that six years have passed, this game doesn't show anything special. Encounters were cliched, levels had at least one "Pinned by MG, time to flank" moments, and there was that defend until reinforcements arrive. I believe that the problem is that this was Treyarch's first Call of Duty title. However, they did do something correctly though, Vehicles. No other Call of Duty has had non scripted vehicles. They are fun when you first get them, but when you get them for the tenth time, you can't help but think of how this game is bad. Multiplayer is buggy, but fun. And the game has some big shooting problems. You cannot sprint, and there is very little weapon variety. Overall, I do not like this game. It just isn't COD.
