Call of Duty 3
Great addition to the franchise
Sure, this game may be older and not have the best graphics ever, but it's still a sick game. The online maps are probably the best on any COD game and that alone is enough to keep you coming back. Don't think twice about buying this game, just buy it. For the price it is now this is the deal of a lifetime. Great game
I am very satisfied with this game. I've had it for a few years and it's still really entertaining. I don't mean to spoil anything, but after you do the basic tutorial, you get thrown in a massive, and I mean, MASSIVE battle. Buildings are blown up, all you hear is gunfire and explosions, and my reaction to this the first time I played was "woah". The campaign is very fun since the levels take a good length of time to complete and show a good difficulty. The multiplayer doesn't disappoint, but I recommend playing online in comparison to split-screen since most of the maps are really big. Overall, I would say that this game is for any Call of Duty fan, and it shows how intense warfare was 70 years ago.
Best Call of Duty game.
In my opinion this is the BEST, CoD game. It actually has a great story line unlike the other CoD's.
this game is okay i beat the campaign in about 4 hours and then the only other thing to do is is to do the quick match. you have to face against real people witch can be good or bad so there in no computer people.
Plot is repeated, multiplayer at a great point.
This is a great game, and my only complaint is the story, which feels like a repeated COD 2. But multiplayer was justified, making vehicles and maps very fun. I felt that it was a good COD game, but not the best of the series.
One of the best Call of Duty's
This is one of the best Call of Duty's ever made. Treyarch did not go wrong with this one at all. They only slight improvement I would make is create a class but it's just fine without in my opinion. Treyarch should really do something like this again bring back the World War 2! Bring back the jeeps, tanks, and motorcycles! Just bring back the old Call of Duty. This is a must buy for all call of duty fans out there!
A great game
This is a great game worth every penny! The Campaign and Multiplayer are both very good. It is very fun and the lasting appeal is good. I would recommend this game to anyone
A Alright WWII Shooter
I liked playing this game when I bought it a few months ago. I liked the story line, but there were some things I didn't really care for, like the melee fighting and what I hated so much: driving. It was interesting when I did it for the first few times, but I started hating it when I started getting lost on some of the maps where you drive. But, if you like WWII, melee battles, and driving, this is the game for you.
Buy if you like WWII shooters
This was my first call of duty game, so my review might be a bit biased GAMEPLAY: I probably listed this 10/10 out of pure nostalgia, I loved the campaign, and the multiplayer was pretty good too (I'm more of a BF player) SOUND: The voice acting was okay, it wasn't brilliant, but it wasn't bad and cheesy like HeII's Highway GRAPHICS: they weren't terrible, even by today's standards, but they weren't anything to write home about LASTING APPEAL: Unfortunately, this is where the game lacks. this was the precursor to CoD4, and we know how the CoD community is. This game was a ghost town in 2009, the last time I played it TL;DR version: Good singleplayer, buy it, it's eight bucks
Not Really Call of Duty...
COD 3 was by far the worst game of the series. It seemed a bit too realistic to be Call of Duty. There were hardly any set pieces, and the game had some fairly slow points. Also, there were cutscenes which made the game seem more like an action game instead of a war shooter. The game does absolutely nothing. First things first. This game looked great for it's time. Explosions had a great flare to them and character animations were solid. However, now that six years have passed, this game doesn't show anything special. Encounters were cliched, levels had at least one "Pinned by MG, time to flank" moments, and there was that defend until reinforcements arrive. I believe that the problem is that this was Treyarch's first Call of Duty title. However, they did do something correctly though, Vehicles. No other Call of Duty has had non scripted vehicles. They are fun when you first get them, but when you get them for the tenth time, you can't help but think of how this game is bad. Multiplayer is buggy, but fun. And the game has some big shooting problems. You cannot sprint, and there is very little weapon variety. Overall, I do not like this game. It just isn't COD.
