I like the game.
I had this game when i was younger and i would play it all the time.
Crash when your car still works(and crashes)
i like this game because when you crash into a car when damage is tookin on your car your car can still drive and i love the crashes on it then the burnout 3
Such an Addictive game
Well, this is one of the best car games I have ever played. It is such a deep game. For one there are tons of events that take you from place to place and you really discover new things about Paradise city. I played this game so much I memorized the whole map and could direct anyone to anyplace in Paradise city. There's a wide variety of cars and events such as: Races(get from point A to point B in first), Road Rage(Take down the number of cars that they want you too by smashing them into wall and stuff like that), Marked Man(Getting to a place without getting totaled), Stunt Runs(get alot of points and chains by doing stunts) and much much more. I got the final license and took a break, but there was alot more I had to do which adds to the stuff you can do in the game. Plus there's alot of dlc which really adds alot of hours to time you will be playing Burnout. Plus online is pretty fun too it's almost completely like the city offline accept there are other people there too. People, trust me, you will LOVE this game.
Worst Game Ever
I have always loved Burnout Games and I was highly anticipating this game. upon arrival in the mail I put it in the xbox. 45 minutes later I came up here. created a gamestop account and wrote this review. the world should know how terrible this game is
Its not a bad game
I have played most of the burnouts and this is #2 behind burnout 3. The car customiziation is good but you should be able to make cars faster. I never finished the game but i played online like everyday. Online was harder because you had to buy car packs just win agianst the good people. The cpu was very easy and getting to places like the baseball stadium was easy if you take shortcuts or have a different route than the cpu.the first time i played this game i was confused but i didnt buy the game yet it was my friend that had the game, i watched him play and i learned the whole game. But there were a few problems in the game.TRAFFIC IS ANNOYING they can block the whole street and you have no where to go. also sometimes when im in mid air i wreck, something always hits my car and i crash. but overall this game is good. ps. if you dont have online go to gamewinners.com and enter the cheats for some fast cars... it only work if you never played online
The Best Racing Game I Have Played In A While
I am not a huge fan of NFS games, and I am not a huge racing fan in general. I like games that you can free roam and choose when you want to race and what you want to do. This game hit the spot. I got this game today and it is great. I love how you can free roam around the city and race whenever you feel like it. It is fun going from point to point doing your own thing. Even during the races, there is not a set track you can make your way around the city to the finish line and you do not have to go the same way as the AI (though it is still probably the fastest way). So far this game is definitely one of the best games I have played in a while.
Almost a Perfect Game
This a hard review. I've had this game for over a year, and I loved it so much, I definitely thought I would give a 10. But, a few simple mistakes from Criterion Games made this not as good. First, in every race that you do, you have to navigate the streets to get to the finish line. This doesn't sound bad, but if you have played this game but you will know what I'm talking about. It's almost essential since the city in BP is huge. It makes you appreciate what Rockstar Games made (arrows pointing to the next checkpoint) in their racing game, Midnight Club. But, I have to refrence to a GAMEINFORMER magazine review made a couple years ago. They stated that you could not restart a race, whereas in the instruction manual says you can. Other than that, this game is fantastic. The racing is fast, fluid and fun. The online setup with your friends? Amazing. The absence of crash mode? ... Criterion, please bring it back!
The Most Fun I've Ever Had with a Racing Game
The first racing game I bought for the Xbox 360 was Need for Speed: Shift back in Holiday 2009. Although I did have some fun with it, it never really had a lasting appeal. About four months later, I picked up Burnout Paradise for 20 dollars at the GameStop near my house and I've been hooked ever since. The controls are smooth, the animation is fluid, and the game is an insane amount of fun. Of course it's not going to match up to Forza or Gran Turismo in graphics, but it's an arcade racer and is supposed to be over-the-top. Criterion developed the game WITH that mindset. Overall, it's the best racing game I've played in a while.
If you're looking for a game with unbelievable graphics, realistic crashes, no loading spaces, and everything else, this is the game. When I first bought this game, I thought it would be like other burnout games. I was wrong. It was ten times better. You can roam anywhere in paradise city. You can stay inside the inner city or you can go out into the open country. Also you get your license. You can upgrade it throughout the game by winning races and road rages. You start with your D class license. Then you upgrade to C, B and A. Then finally you can upgrade it to your official Burnout Paradise license. Another thing about this game is the great sound track. Of course they have the song paradise city on it, but they also have other good songs like I Wanna Rock. This is a great game and I highly recommend it.
I have played this game for countless hours. My copy was broken when my xbox was bumped and the disc was shredded. I looked online to see what the price would be, still at 19.99 that just proves how great this game is. I would recommend this game to anybody who likes fast paced action games. Playing this game perfected my reflexes on the xbox 360 controller and it easily the smoothest and best looking racing game ever created. Just watching the criterion games add before the game starts completely blows my mind.
