Product Details:

In Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway you join Matt Baker, Joe Hartsock and the rest of the 101st Airborne Division in Operation Market Garden as they fight to open the infamous Hell's Highway in a daring bid for a quick end to the war. The classic authentic, squad-based combat series explodes on next-generation hardware, offering unprecedented graphics and features.

  • Live the life of an enlisted man: Get orders from HQ, go on patrol, spot the enemy and set up a devastating ambush. For the first time, finding the enemy before they find you is part of the challenge.
  • Unprecedented character design: Lifelike characters look, talk, move and think with incredible realism. Game characters interact with the player and each other like true brothers in arms, trading ammunition, helping wounded allies and civilians, working together to man team-operated weapons, and more.
  • Rich cinematic experience: As the squad leader, you interact with and get to know your brothers. Each character has his own distinct personality, unique story and background, and grows throughout the game.
  • Powerful new units under your command: Players can use or command combined arms teams - machine gun crews create intense fire, bazooka crews destroy buildings and tanks, and mortar crews pound the enemy from a distance.
  • Play your own way: Players can choose to use their squad to execute a tactically elegant flanking maneuver or charge in with guns blazing.
  • Destructible cover: Keep your men moving and choose your cover wisely - modeled using real physical properties and behaviors, weapons will damage, dent, scorch and destroy the world around you.
  • Completely new multiplayer experience: Fight major multiplayer battles with dozens of players on each side, combining all the intensity and accessibility of Deathmatch with the squad-based gameplay that helped make Brothers In Arms® famous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grabs ya and doesnt let go If you enjoy World War II games, then this title is a must have for your collection. The graphics could be a little better but I think the producers made a trade off for a longer lasting game play. The story and cinematics really touches the heart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unlike Any Gaming Experience I am a big fan of WW2 games. This game, is hands down, the greatest gaming experience that you can get while looking for a WW2 game. I became emotionally attatched to the characters. That has only ever happened to me before in Big Red One and Call of Duty 3. This game has graphics years ahead of it's time. (I believe 2008 was release.) and the gameplay makes you feel like you are really there. You feel actual emotion when killing a man, instead of just a "1 Less to kill" mentality. For this price, pick it up. Best WW2 story out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from something a little different this game brings a different experience of first person shooters. the main controls are fairly unique and present a greater challenge in combat game play. as far as realism goes, this game is terrific. definitely far more realistic than call of duty. but other minor things like graphics and sound cant be considered all that great in this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tactics over run and gun Out of every WW2 game I've played I think this one does the best job at telling a story while keep in the action intense. This game isnt your normal FPS "run and gun" kinda game like Call of Duty is. This game relies more on tactics and how well you command your squads. The ability to command a squad to suppress and enemy while you flank them for the kill adds alot more realism than the normal aim shoot move, aim shoot move, aim shoot move type gameplay we see in most FPS games today. The sound throughout the game is amazing, you actually get the feeling of fighting its the streets and from building to building or hedge to hedge. There are a few glitches though as in sometimes your squad members will be stupid and stand out in the open and get shot at even though you told them to go to a location behind cover, other times your bazooka guy will blow up himself by shooting at the wall in front of him and finally somtimes there is rendering issues, but for the most part the game looks great. All in all if you want a WW2 game that has more realism than Call of Duty check this game out, just keep in mind you cant just run around and shoot and expect to live.
