Borderlands Add-On Pack
Great but why?
I loved the Dr.Ned zombie island's story line it took you into a battle of zombies but well i won't spoil it but you face another type of enemy. The only downfall about this DLC is the Underdome, i think it was absolutely pointless i thought as you were facing hundreds of enemy's that you would level up but wow was i wrong. Nothing is fun about this sure play it with your friends and try to beat the highest level but it eventually get's really boring and i felt as in they should had added a twist to it like after every 20 rounds teleport each player to another room and lone wolf on enemy's for 4 rounds then meet back with each other. So why this pointless DLC? There are other great ones but this just was disappointing. My finale ratings: 8.5
very good game
this add-on pack is practically a second borderlands. i love it
Absolutely Good Enough to Get!
If you're losing steam on Borderlands, getting this is a great way to add more play time. It's a good price for two solid pieces of DLC that you'll surely enjoy.
First off, if you didn't like Borderlands, then avoid this. The add on pack won't change the game for you.
Zombie Island is fantastic! The oddball story and dank, swampy environment was a pleasure to play through. Mad Moxxie's Underdome Riot however, was a lot less gratifying. Yeah it's still good, but it's really basic and difficult to beat.
Borderlands is the best game ever! Does anyone know if this add on pack will come out on the ps3 though? I'm not buying them * dollars each, I'd rather get a add on pack.
Read Before Buying!
This add-on pack is ok but...Underdome isn't too good. The zombie one is great but like i said underdome is just waves of enemies. It's ridiculously long and hard. The achievements are hard too i got all the normal game achievements and all the zombie achievements but only 1 in underdome ... i gave up. The only good is that with underdome there is a bank you can store excess weapons and goodies. Which almost makes it worth it.
the reason i am rentin this add on is because i already have the zombie island add on and have no intention in spending an extra 10 dollars and another 10 for a "crappy" add-on which is mad moxxi, i just want the achievements for the mad moxxi and i am just going use my modded guns and beat it as fast as possible so i can buy my secret armory add on
Borderlands is amazing.
The original game is amazing. The Island of Ned is easily 5-6 hours of play, and Moxxie's is tons of fun for the multiplayer while in the arena. It also adds on 5-6 hours of play. Borderlands stands alone at 60 hours or so, that's 72 hours of game time, all of it able to support 4 people at any time with a very WoW feeling throughout. If you haven't picked up Borderlands yet, buy it. Buy this as well and get The Secret Armory of General Knoxx(adding another 10 hours to the game, extending the level cap, and tons and tons of new enemies). It's the best investment you'll ever spend on a game.
there is another dise coming out that has all three coming out so if you want to get a 3 wait for if to come out they say april 9th it could come out but it is probaby not so just wait a little. there is also more dlc coming out soon anyway some time in the summer or early fall. I love this game i can't wait until the second one comes out.
Borderlands is one of the most creative games out there right now and if you have the game already these add-ons are completely worth it and add a huge and fun environment to the game, there are new bosses, guns, missions, and areas, if you dont already have borderlands i strongly recommend it to you.
