Great Bundle
Oblivion is fun for RPG lovers but I think Bioshock is better for casual gamers.

Good Value.
To me these two games have no correlation, but they are a good value; you save a few dollars in comparison with buying the two individually. I prefer bioshock over oblivion just for the story. oblivion is to open to whatever i want. Whereas in bioshock i can do what i want to but to an extent; there is a particular goal.

Huh...
I find this to be an extremely odd combo. That being said, let's get to brass tacks. Bioshock is one of the best games I've ever played, I went through it probably 8 times before it got remotely boring. It's scary, action packed, has some of the best voice acting I've heard in a game, and let's be honest, Rapture is one of the best enviroments in any game hands down. The only problem is the "choice affects gameplay" system that it has. It's just extremely lackluster, you're choices only affect you're ability to gain certain powers and the ending cutscene. Also, fair warning without spoilers, the story kinda goes downhill around the middle of the game, so those who are sticklers for detail will most likely find themselves asking "What the? Did I just cross into a terrible sequel?" The game is also linear and a bit on the short side and if you're experienced with shooters you can breeze your way through the hardest difficulty with few problems. But don't let those things deter you, as Bioshock is pure gold and I'd recommend it to anyone. Now for Oblivion. I'm not sure if it's all copies or just mine, but the game is EXTREMELY buggy/glitchy, tothe point where I cannot play it anymore. It actually has to load the areas you walk into so it is very hard to become immersed into the game (Imagine walking to you're destination smoothly with no problems and then suddenly becoming laggy and bothersome because you're moving into a new zone). Also, navigating on the map is just plain annoying, as the cursor moves extremely slowly and there's nothing you can do to fix it. The game also suffers from extremely long load screens. (I actually sat for about 2 minutes through one) However, if you can get beyond all that, Oblivion is an excellent RPG. There's so much to do outside of the main quest, and so many different options when it comes to character customization, AND two full length add ons. (though you need to DL a patch for them to work, something I wasn't aware of before I bought the GOTY Edition -_-) All that said, I wouldn't recommend Oblivion TBH, it's just too buggy to enjoy, which is sad as you're given such a huge world to explore. If you want a game thats essentially just a reskinned Oblivion, but with fewer bugs and whatnot, (fewer, they're still there) just go for Fallout 3. Oh and if this was just Bioshock, it would've gotten 10 across the board but what can ya do? Hope this helps anyone considering this bundle.

Awww Dude!!!
I wish they had this bundle when I got my Bioshock and Oblivion copies! These are my two favorite single player games (aside from assasins creed and the orange box). They are both addictive and thrilling. let me elaborate.Oblivion: the best rpg I know of. You build your character from ground up and give him stats and traits. Then you go steal, kill or explore anywhere you want. The game packs an amazing 120+ hours for a faster player who has already beaten everything 10 times. There are more side quests than any other game but WoW an about 35 random dungeons scatered around. And this is without the downloadable content which adds another 30 hours. Throughout this game the gameplay and graphics never disapoint as you walk though large cities and lusheous meadows.Bioshock: A more disturbing game with plenty of gore and horrors. however, that is not to say that it has bad gameplay, in fact it has some of the best gameplay there is when it comes to a single player fps. The creepy sound effects and gruesome slaughters will ceep you grasping your controller for hours on end. I love this game because it is nonstop fun with a enthralling storyline. It is the only game that I know of where you can use telekanesis powers to fling dead bodies at others and actually kill them with it.

Double Dose of Awesome
It's about time I've seen a bundle where everything you get is worth getting. First off in my review I'll point out some faults because I feel you should learn about the faults of something that your going to drop money on before people try to sell you on the good. Now, my biggest complaint about Oblivion: the Quests. I guess I can't really complain because honestly, how in depth can you make countless quests? It kind of just boils down to 'go here' 'go here and kill' 'go here and deliver/pick up' and everyone's favorite 'take me here to (any of the above)'. There was one quest though that was pretty nifty. Having you prove your worth in a dream world. Another major complaint I have is that parts of the game seem to have no idea what they're trying to do. The world is open and beautiful. a better word is vast, but there's not alot in it for the most part. Rivers trees and mountains, without a lot to interact with. The alternate reality known as Oblivion is a bit more populated, but everything looks brownish/red which gets boring. and when it makes you do the dungeon crawl everything gets dark washed. All in all though, if your a fan of immersive rpgs as opposed to the linear Jrpg you'll like this. It does offer a high degree of customization. both for your characters appearance and class. Careful though, you can easily make your character into a chud. The last thing is the quick travel feature. A nice idea on papaer where there are no graphics that were polished and made to be seen. You can see how this can be a bad thing, eh? Now onto Bioshock: ... Not a lot to complain about really. This is one of the best games of the past year. A few bugs but nothing serious. One thing I didn't like is that in most games like this is that they give you the choice between good and evil, and you can play the game one way and pretty much throw all that out the window at the very end in one decision. And its a very black and white decision too. One other complaint is about the big daddies. I thought they were going to be near unstoppable gods with murder on the mind. They are a little annoying at first, but after you get your strategy down after the first one you fight, they turn into annoyances. All in all, the flaws with these two games are easily overlooked by the fact that what these games do well, they've mastered. As far as bundles go, this is definitely the best I've seen. Period. So it's worth the bones.

Bravo Bethesda And 2K!
If by some miracoulous light you have yet to play these games, do yourself a favor and pick this bundle up. Bethesda and 2K Games put everything they had, and then some, into these titles. Both are video game masterpieces. At ***** bucks and some change, you can't go wrong. Especially in this crappy economic climate.
