by MrBunny Sega has won my heart, again.
Binary Domain will be the cybernetic super power in video game history. This game provides a common squad based third person shooter, while illuminating bright and humorous characters. The characters are put into a, "Rust Crew", a squad of mercenaries from selected countries to hunt out Hollow Children which are basically cyborgs. This takes them threw the underground of Tokyo where the poorest of humans live in the slums. If the high speed chases, jet skiing, and fighting robotic giants don't attract you to this game you do not have a pulse. The basic overview of Binary Domain is like i-Robot, but it doesn't suck. This game has made me fall head over heels for Sega and can't wait to see a possibility of a great sequel!

this game is sic im telling u i love this game i havent beat this game yet but i had to stop and do this review so the people reading this wont miss out any longer im playing it on the hardest setting and let me tell u its fun and challeging without being frustrating its a 3rd person shooter with an i robot theme times 20 the storyline is awesome gameplay is smooth as butter if u like mw3 gears of war 3 switch ur controller settings to scout before u start. also u can upgrade weapons for every teammate and its not like u have to control them they do there thing u can just give them simple commands if u want its not like ghost recon believe me i hate them team based shooter games the most u have to to with a teammate is revive them if they run out of health packs this game is well worth 60 bucks ive been playing for 4 hours and i dont think i even scratched the surface GO GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!

I just played the single player demo. Bottom line is is that this game is probably going to be very mediocre. The graphics the gameplay all of it screamed mediocrity. Im not saying they are terrible Im just saying that I got pretty bored with what I was playing. I have seen all of these things done so much better in games like gears and pretty much any other 3rd person shooter. It was fitting that the demo is short.
The AI is some of the worst I have seen. The enemy robots kept running right past me and then my teamates behind me wouldn't do a dang thing even though it would me 2 feet away from them. One actually was able to find me after going past me but failed to hit me after unloading a clip at me and then running up to give me a kick. The pathetic thing was is that all of this happened at point blank range. I just sat there kind of shocked at what was happening.
The other enemies would just stand in one spot and wait for me to unload on them rarely ever moving.
Add all this to the gameplay not being all that great and this demo encouraged me not to want to play the actual game when it comes out. I really doubt the whole game will be much different.
Rated 10 out of 10 by StokedRider Binary Domain - Biggest Surprise of 2012
Binary Domain is no mere Gears of War clone, I assure you. Binary Domain, unlike Gears of War, offers slightly more variety, a better character cast, well written and sometimes humorous dialogue, and a very cool sci-fi story that trounces Gears of War. Binary Domain doesn't feel like a Gears of War game, it feels like a classic Sega game with modern sensibilities and a ton of heart and character. The gameplay handles well and is about what you'd expect from a third-person shooter. It feels like Vanquish with more heft to it. The graphics are very nicely detailed and the robots are wonderfully designed. The sound is excellent due to some very fun voice acting. I recommend buying this game and supporting a brand new IP with some heart and character.
Rated 9 out of 10 by SupaHype Very nice -9
Im writing this review based off of the single player campaign as i have not played the multiplayer. But the single player campaign is excellent. I am about 4-6 hours in and it is reminicent of Gears of War 3, but different enough to make this a completely seperate game. First off, you can respond to your CPU teamates by voice command, a nice feature (although somewhat sketchy -7), the game play is very exciting, even having to run through the debris of a building falling around you (not a spoiler), Gameplay is very responsive (9), Graphics are easily a 10, the game is beautiful. Great game, recommended.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Kaiden Good Singleplayer, Bad Multiplayer
This game has an awesome storyline. The plot is great, and the squad commands make gameplay fun. This game has one of the best singleplayers I've ever played, but the multiplayer is lacking. There isn't a whole lot of people playing online, and its just two days after the game has come out. The multiplayer lags a lot, but that should get better. The maps in the multiplayer are poorly laid out and are basically made for spawn camping. Good game but if you want a 3rd person shooter just for its multiplayer, then I recommend gears of war (because at least the makers of gears know how to make good maps)

Rated 9 out of 10 by GASSA Amazing and Original
The very first good thing about this game is that the story is something you can actually love. Most shooters do not import that into their titles. The third-person system worked very efficiently the graphics were amazing. I love how each type of creature was unique and you weren't just fighting 2 different types. Some were weak but fast, some were powerful but slow, and others were just like soldiers. I also loved how shooting the robots in the head was not always and insta-kill. You could actually take them out limb by limb. Much better than expected.

I loved this game. It might just be another third-person shooter, but there is something about it that just stands out. Maybe it's the fact that you do not fight any organic enemies, they are all robots. The story and gameplay are great. If you are looking for a great third-person shooter then I recommend this to you.
Rated 10 out of 10 by NCCTrainer Great Game I didn't Expect
This is my first review, that is how much I like this game. I played the demo which was fun but it does not give this game justice. This is a futuristic robot vs human shooter that will not disappoint. The story is great, the game play is great, and the game has enough depth to keep the attention of even the most hardcore gamers(And trust me I have a very short attention span for bad games). I would defiantly recommend getting this game. I haven't played the online yet but if its anything like the story it will not disappoint.
