Seriously Needed More Testing
A great game ruined by a plethora of overpowered weapons, bugs, and glitches. It feels like this game was never beta tested. Would definitely wait to buy.
Intense Multiplayer, Rewarding Learning Curve
1. The single player campaign was good, although the story could be better, there is one line that did stand out as memorable. Pac is a great character in terms of supportive role (Irish is okay for his script); however, the Captain is less believable (where's the Colonel for the Marines?) I digress. Dice did a great feel to how a (LHD/Carrier/DDG) ship looks and operates (from berthing racks to the aircraft on elevators, etc). Other than that, the campaign is short, and the ending isn't quite satisfying which does leave for more questions and wanting more from it. There is enough for me to play through for a couple of times. 2. MULTIPLAYER. Now this IS the meat and potatoes. I am not a hardcore gamer, so I got mine's handed to me. I appreciate the "realistic" weapons effects, which makes for a good learning curve. I am a higher level now, which makes progression good and fair for people who haven't subscribed to "PREMIUM" status - like a season pass, really BUT for an EXTRA $50 for the DLC and expansion if you hadn't pre-ordered them. That is my one MAJOR negative. Helicopters definitely require lots and lots of practice, which I am grateful for the test map so you can try your newly unlocked weapon configurations without taking time away from the battle something I did early on in multiplayer. 3. I have just started playing as COMMANDER (earned the dog tag), and once you learn how to support and utilize the tools given at your command, it's a fun way to assist while watching the action. The different maps give you different "special weapons" depending on the size. The squad members playing can give you a rating as well, so it pays to be helpful, and while you may not score as high as actually being the top dog, you will score points based on how effective you are as a Commander. 4. In conclusion, if you are a casual gamer like myself, BF4 is one the best games that has came across the XBOX360 although it's definitely made for the next-gen systems. It does have a learning curve, but it rewards you for doing so. Taking fallen enemy dog tags is a great touch to an already great game. BRAVO ZULU, Dice!
best shooter ever!
I love this shooter, it makes it like your there.
but one thing I hate is the fact you cant custimizes
Great Game! - Better than ghost
I've been playing cod for years now and decided to give bf3 a try last year. It was different from cod so I went ahead and tried bf4 and I don't regret it. Unlike cod, spawning is not horrible unless you decide to spawn on a squad member in battle.Little to no campers! Graphics are above average and multiplayer is fun. It forces you to use teamwork which can be fun. There is alot of customization options on weapons. Plenty of vehicles on the maps. Only things I don't like about the multiplayer is that it can be very difficult to fly the jets and helicopters. Overall great game.
Blows away COD Ghosts
I bought Ghosts first, as I have been a fan of that series, but honestly, it was pretty boring after only a few weeks. The online play is just run around like a fool, twitch shoot, and act like a fool on your headset.....really.
I was strongly recommended to give Battlefield a try, and I'm so glad I did. The campaign was ok, but honestly, campaigns are just the opening act for multiplayer anyways. The multiplayer is outstanding! You actually have to think, and use strategy, not just run around at a full sprint spraying bullets. It was a wonderful change from the tired COD gameplay. The maps are excellent, with a lot of variety and things to do. The spawn system makes COD look really bad, you choose spawn spots that your team has earned....super smart design
This game looks great, sounds great, and most importantly, is really, really fun. I would have given it a 10 except all the freeze-up bugs haven't been fixed yet....but that is easy to forgive.
I'm glad I traded in Ghosts for this game.
Fantastic game that beats the competition
Battlefield 4 is a fantastic game with plenty of potential. There are some bugs that need to be worked out, but the future is going to be bright. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a game to pick up and play.
Improved campaingn and superb multiplayer
Battlefield 4 is one of the greatest FPS experiences on 360. The single player campaign was improved from that of Battlefield 3, but the mulitplayer is what carries this package.
Easily best FPS right now
I bought the game recently and only froze once. I than took the map Dawnbreaker out of the list and every since I did that its been smooth sailing. I havent played the campaign and probably won't, but the multiplayer is DOPE!!!! Def worth buying just remember to deselect Dawnbreaker from the server list for now. I mainly play TDM and STDM but also play other modes and each is amazing and fun.
Great game but some glicthes
The game is great and Awesome but in multiplayer sometimes you will glitch out and somehow just die. DICE did a good job on it but its still got some rough edges.
Excells where Call of Duty falls short
While this game may not look as nice as Call of Duty Ghosts, the gameplay is everything it should be. Ghosts was just another step back in the Call of Duty franchise and Battlefield 4 is the best yet. By far the best Shooter to ever be released.
