Batman: Arkham Origins
Really great narrative
The story in Batman Origins is fantastic it's like having another Batman movie in the library. It's a game that gets you so wrapped up in the story that you won't want to put it down. It's highly recommended to those who are fans of batman and DC comics. The only flaw is multiplier. Although very new to the franchise it still feels like it is missing something. It reminds me of Gears of War when it comes to the gameplay mechanics and mixed with vigilantes swooping you up at a moments notice. It's fun but it doesn't compare to the singleplayer campaign. I'm not discouraged by it because I do see it as a look to what might come for the multiplayer component of the franchise. Can't wait for the next one!
i love the game its just a little rebellious you have to play the game 2xs then u get all the special stuff
Here's the thing: it had a lot to live up to considering the effect of the previous two games. This one being the predecessor of them both, it should have been LONGER. Campaign can be completed in a day for a pretty decent gamer. The game play was definitely fun, but felt unpolished. Was not the masterpiece I thought it was be, but still a good time, and still recommended.
This game is epic! every aspect of this game is amazing there is nothing to complain about besides there are some gliches besides the glithces but warner bros. fixed the gliches.Anyway the story is the best out of the series without spoiling it it is about batmans first encounter with the joker because he has not met him yet.The voice acting is amazing and if you dont know yet Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil are not even batman and joker but you cant tell the difference between there voices. The gameplay is about the same as both games anyway its awesome get the game.
Great storyline and gameplay so far, but I hadn't beaten the game yet. From playing the other two batman games, Arkham Asylum and city, this game delivers to be in the prequel to both of the games, since it does give out a nice refresh to the storyline of Batman's arisen. I love both of the previous games, and this one as well, since not only that you're fighting crime and saving gotham, but you're feeling as if you are the Batman, a masked man from the darkness. Hopefully, there will be add ons soon. I would definitely recommend this game for those that want to play the batman games in chronologically order, and that you are fan of Batman, like myself.
This game is amazing. There is some flaws, like the multiplayer how you have to have 8 players to start a match, and how you already have all your gadgets from Arkham Asylum, and City. But when you look past all that ;), this game is really good. It does justice for the game series. It completes the trilogy, also it rounds things up very well. Batman Arkham Origins is amazing and I would recommend to batman fans.
Great game, met my expectations. Story was just alright, but gameplay was excellent and the new feature of crime scene reconstruction was awesome in my opinion. Definitely worth picking up, will be my last xbox 360 game ever!
What couldve been...
I love the Batman games, not just the Arkham games, but all of them from the early ones on. Now I had high expectations for this game because of the last two installments, but at the same time because of the developer switch I got a little worried. Now they changed abit from the other games taking a more realistic look on everything. While that's good you do have to question the change because its like watching Star Wars 1,2 and 3 and questioning why the older stuff looks more advanced than the newer. While Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy do not reprise their roles as Joker and Batman the new actors all do a good job with their characters. Now where the game falls flat, the storyline feels rushed and doesn't last any where as long as the other games, the boss battles while fun seem too few as you don't fight all the assassins and are pretty easy for the most part, some freezing issues that hopefully get resolved and finally the world just seems kinda refreshed from Arkham City. Now the game has a new feature which is game plus, but instead of starting over with all your gear you can keep playing after the storyline and get all the Riddler Challenges and what not done. Where the game kinda redeems itself is through the quests of the side villains such as Anarchy. While you have this you feel alittle let down because you blew through the storyline so quickly which is why most of us play the games. The final thing is that the controls while just being carried over from the other games seems unresponsive at times such as countering and grappling places that you should be able to go, but for some reason wont let you unless you are pretty much right next to it when flying around the city. Honestly at the end of the day the game is actually good and a fun play through, but to me fell short of what I was expecting out of an origins story. Out of all the Batman Arkham series I have to say this has the least replay value for me as at the end of the storyline I felt unfinished and a lot of questions unanswered.
Save your money
This game has potential as the story isn't bad. However, there are several glitches in the game that makes this game hard to enjoy. The biggest glitch is the Corrupt Save. After several hours of game play for no reason at all gamers receive a corrupt save message and have to restart the game over. Numerous gamers have reported these issue on Arkhamorigins.com community site, but the WB is ingoring the issue's. Unless you can purchase this game for $20 or less, I recommend finding another game.
Amazing game, can't see why people hating it
Arkham Origins has a amazing story, with a huge twist **NO SPOILERS**. 8 assassins. Alfred and Batman try to cooperate at the most point because he doesn't like Bruce being Batman. Multilayer 8/10, 1 game mode for right now. Deathstroke playable is so much fun. Season Pass, in my opinion, is a great deal. The game takes huge inspiration to The Killing Joke. 2 new gadgets, remote claw, and shock gloves, come in handy. Boss battles are great. Challenge mode is awesome. The actors were actually great!!! Especially Troy Bakers Joker!! If you are a fan of Arkham series or DC Comics. Buy the game, BUY IT!! Thank you WB Games Montreal
