Attack of the Movies 3D
Not worth the effort
I'm flat out telling you, don't buy this game for the Xbox 360. It has a good enough concept and I've always been a fan of rail shooters, but Attack of the Movies just drops the ball. The targeting cursor is poorly calibrated and snaps back to the center of the screen if you let up off the analog for even a brief moment. The graphics are poorly dated (early PS2 quality) if you care about that sort of thing. The 3-D isn't handled very well either. It mostly just gives everything a purple tint as it uses the old red/blue glasses tech. The game itself gets frustrating as enemies can cause damage even when not facing you. The biggest issue with the game, being the control, would be resolved with the simple addition of a light gun accesory, which doesn't seem to exist for the 360. If you're considering this game, get it for the Wii.
It was alright but not worth the money.
This game was alright for the first little bit. The longer i played the more it felt like a kids game. If your buying it for a younger kid then this will be good but if your older i would stay away from this one.
A terrible game!!
i bought this because i liked the idea of a 3d game... but the 3d version just makes it hard to see. the glasses are just those old red and blue cardoard glasses. i liked the way the game was set up, like the fact that each level is another movie genre. the games controls make the game that much worse, the cursor always swings back to the middle of the screen... this game probably would've been better on the wii.
Well the first thing is this game is pretty good. And I am just not saying that if you love arcade shooters than you will like this game! The 3-D glasses kinda work but on the first 5 levels they work great it is realy fun win you have some body to play it with it is 4 players it is almost like a family game but if you love arcade games totaly buy it!
Graphics look horrible
It looks like xbox/ps2/game cube generation graphics. Sorry, the screenshots alone make me NOT want to buy this game. Making it in 3D is only a gimmick to get people to actually pay for this. It is like the developer said "quick, we gotta get a 3D game out quickly...." and we end up with "Attack of the Movies" Sorry, the title alone already works against it.
You are right Batman doesnt use red and blue 3d glasses, it actually uses cyan and magenta 3d glasses........which is the exact same thing only its built using two different colors instead.
though the 3d glasses were basically useless, i found this game enjoyable
In my opinion, this game is not worth anywhere close to $5....IF, and I mean IFFFF, you had four players available, this game might be possible...but with one or two players taking a stab at each level, even on EASY, this game is way too hard. I thought I would give it a shot, simply because the 3-D gimmick, but after playing for about an hour, trying to get passed the second level, this game just doesn't do it for me.
Well you are wrong about the technology, and your grammar is horrible to boot. If this game is going to use Trioviz technology then you will not be using the red and blue glasses. Batman Arkham Asylum 3D will not be using the old school glasses. This might be fun
they're red and blue dude
its gonna bet the red and blue because the black ones use polarization and u have to have two projectors to do that so it will be the red and blue sorry dude out technology for that isn't in the home theater yet
