Product Details:

With unprecedented levels of dynamism, drama and interaction, Asura's Wrath will deliver a fresh take on the action gaming genre. Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. Cue relentless action as Asura finds himself facing off against numerous unique enemies, including planetary sized bosses, unleashing devastating and visceral attacks. Asura's Wrath loses the traditional distinction between gameplay and cutscenes through seamless player controlled narrative. Simply put, even in cinematic sequences the player can control Asura, directly affecting the gameplay, making Asura's Wrath a truly unique experience.

  • New type of action game - Asura's Wrath will seamlessly blend action and narrative and will adopt an episodic nature, more akin to a TV drama series.
  • Relentless action - Asura's Wrath keeps placing gamers in tight situations and says now get out of that.'
  • What the...? - Unique enemies and planetary sized bosses will continually challenge players' expectations.
  • Innovative setting and story - Fusing Asian mythology with sci-fi, Asura's Wrath's universe will be truly unique.
  • Collaboration with CyberConnect2 - Continues Capcom's strategy of partnering with the best developers to produce titles to complement its own internal projects.

Game Informer Rating:

Rated 8.5 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing all the way around I'm not a huge fan of fighting games but I tried this game out on my friend's PS3 and I was blown away with everything that I was witnessing in this game. This is one of those games where it's more of a movie then a game but done well and very few games do very well with such concept. Asura's Wrath is like watching an anime movie and given by how good and well written the story is, you'll find yourself wanting to watch it again. I did get this game for my 360 and I was ready for round two and oh boy, it was crazy, just as I remember it. The combat does prove to be repetitive but since it's so pleasing, it doesn't matter. The bosses in the game are amazing and my favorite boss fight is Augus, teacher vs. student, and as a bonus, you fight him on the moon. The graphics are beautiful and it's one of the visually pleasant design that I'd ever seen in game. The game gets a 10/10 for amazing design. The English dub is a little off but as long as I can understand the characters, that's all that really matters to me but at times, it does prove to be good. However, there is a DLC to this game to get the 'True' ending and from what I've heard, it sucks. Why would you want to pay money to get the real ending of the game? All that happens is that you die while your daughter lives on, but that's how much I know. I do not understand the whole DLC idea to games but it's something that's not very needed for a game, it's just not. Overall, the game is a very unique and an amazing experience to endure, even if you're not a fan of fighting games, this is still a great experience to have. It's one of the few good games from Capcom and it's really worth adding to your collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An Homage To Anime Fans A must buy for any fan of anime! The entire game is essentially a standalone interactive anime! goat

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Godlike this game has everything you need in it, action, good story, amazing graphics and good controls. You even get attached to Asurah while playing the game. that's why this game deserves a nice 9/10.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yet another "damsel in distress... I had a huge interest in this game when I saw the trailers. I was disappointed when Capcom played ANOTHER damsel in distress card. Suppressing myself from letting out a feminist fury as to why that's an issue, it's just old. Millions of games/movies/books have used that plot twist. The story in this game is cliche at best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rent, Don't Buy The game itself is amazing. The only reason why I cant give it a perfect score is because you would never play once you've beat the game. Very engaging and interactive. Buy it preowned, beat it, and return it. If not for that, rent it from GameFly. Only took me two days to beat and I didn't dedicate my entire day to it. Definitely worth a play through.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its Good but short I had high hopes from this game from playing the demo the game is excellent it has epic interaction buttons sound and graphics...but the only problem is the game is SOOOOOOOOO SHORT!! like for me i beat the game in like 1 hour and 20 mins on the hardest difficulty. Oh yea the game has repetitive combos which isn't so bad considering how ninja gaiden 3 was way repetitive the mostly focus on the interaction cutscenes but its still a good game but I see now it went down to 40 now trust me this game isnt worth 40 its good but not worth 40 take my advice and wait until it drops to 20 cause when i bought the game when it first came out it was still 50 and droped to 40 in 2 weeks so its going to drop until like 20 but emh its alright I rate 7.
