by manuelkiller101 great buy but future problems
well i bought this last year like in 2011 around october and well i though it was a great deall because i bought the used white one and they gave me the elite black one!! so i was like heck yah but then im a die hard gamer and my hauppage and everything went good with this console and my astros everything was goin fine. until one day it started to not read any disc i will need to eject and inject back again for like 10 minutes so it would read and i went to the local gamestore and they said theyll fix it for 80 dollars . i was horrified by the cost so i got a disc that clean your xbox lens after i used that the xbox seem fine and worked brand new from this point it still works!!!! so its a good buy for your buck C: but it's used so you nevr know you might get a bad xbox .

I finally got an xbox 360 and went to the next generation of gaming when i saw Batman Arkham City. And to be honest i had a lot of fun for a long time i would play for hours on end. I also had a bunch of fun playing games like forza and halo (both are xbox exclusives) my favorite however was gears of war. but in less than 6 months the system had problems reading discs. I knew that it wasn't anything to do with disc quality they always went straight to the case after use and my fingers never came in contact with the side that was read. it also didn't even read brand new games fresh out of the plastic wrap. This is an inexcusable fault i paid for a console that was going to stop working in less than half a year. On top of the systems faultiness there are a few other issues such as how the older models don't even have an hdmi hookup. Also unless you purchase a separate batter pack and charger you will be buying your own batteries for the controller(which is an awesome controller btw). This is also inexcusable the xbox 360 main competitor the playstation 3 comes with a rechargeable controller with the necessary cable. And i don't have a problem with paying for multiplayer as long as the experience is improved which it was. but i do have a problem with having to pay to use netflix which i already pay for and i also have to pay to use youtube. fortunately they fixed this a while ago but only after i converted to using ps3 which i don't have to pay to play on. overall my experience with xbox was a fun but short one i had two xbox 360s and both broke the first had a glitch where it stopped reading discs the second got the rrod. overall i honestly wouldn't recommend an xbox 360 to any of my friends unless it is the later model.

I've owned this Console for about 3years now n i'm suprised it still works after all this time. i've had 0 problems with it no rings of death, no damaged discs, nothing. I'm Competetive Gamer that plays 7+ hours a day all day playing GTA, 2K Crew, UFC n CoD. i've owned the White Version before this n had 3rings of death, damaged discs etc withn 3yrs. so if you're looking for a new 360 get the XB360 - Black Original trust me this Console will outlast ur Warranty lol it's that Durable.

The Xbox 360 in and of itself is a pretty meh console. Its properties are exceptional for its era but its operating system is not so great. The hubs and friend features are a nice change but aren't really mastered here. Then again this is much better than an Xbox One.
The games supported on 360 are some of the best that have ever been released but sadly Microsoft no longer holds some of those as exclusives so it's become a somewhat obsolete console...

Well, when I first got my Xbox I had some issues because I plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on which kinda gave me a heart attack. After messing around with it for a while it finally worked but then I realized it didn't come with a hard drive, which I don't know I'm not super techy but I just kinda assumed that it would come with that, so just keep that in mind. Anyway so it was of course new year's eve so I had to rush to the store since I wouldn't be able to get it for a few days otherwise. So I bought it and I headed home and started using my xbox and it has worked perfectly fine since. Of course I can't afford Xbox Live right now so I don't know if it connects to the internet but I mean after that rocky start, I have had no issues. So basically, I'd say if you're like me and you want an Xbox but you don't wanna buy a brand new one and spend a fortune, buy this.

This package is a pretty decent deal. I picked up my unit in the store, and I highly recommend that everyone else does the same, so that they can inspect it before they purchase. Not all 360's are created equal, because some have older hardware (the motherboard) that has a higher failure rate. The newest motherboard for this model is called the "Jasper" motherboard, so ask if they have that. When I got home with the system, I was a bit disappointed to see that the thing was pretty dusty- they could have at least taken the time to do clean out the outside/insides, but other than that, it seems to be in good shape. One last thing: you can save some cash on storage by purchasing a flash drive to use as memory for the system. However, not all flash-drives work. Google "list of xbox 360 compatible flash drives" and check around. I was able to get a 32gb usb3.0 flash drive for $20.

I recently purchased this as I did not have a 360. I bought it because it was cheap, but still seemed relatively good. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. Not only was mine loud (which isn't a huge concern, as most are, but mine was unusually loud), but the buttons were extremely worn out. The power button is the classic button one, not the touch one. It felt like the button was jammed, as I really had to push into it for it to press down. The eject button was also flimsy. Overall, the machine did what it was supposed to do, but at a cost. If you can afford a better one, do it! If you truly need to save money, but just need to have that xbox in your life, this will work. It probably won't work for long as these are old and refurbished machines, but it should get the job done for a while.

I had some pretty great expectations for my first Xbox 360 but sadly they were all stomped out. This system that I bought may be great, but will not play any of the great games that have come out such as battle field 4. This unfortunately does not have the storage space, forcing me to buy an external hard drive. There goes 60 more dollars I had to spend out of the 450$ it ended up costing me to get. This version does not come with a wireless adapter so I paid 40 more dollars, and of course I had to pay for Live costing me another 60 dollars. If I wanted to pay this much for my Xbox I would've gone to the store and bought the 250 GB. I am planning on returning this, and if I cannot I will sell it for what it's worth. Sadly I expected more from it. I'm going to go play my PS3 now.
