Xbox 360 (S) 4GB System - Black (GameStop Premium Refurbished)
I was a bit apprehensive getting a used system, but after opening this up, I was convinced. The Xbox looked literally brand new, perfectly clean and not a single scratch to be seen. It works perfectly, save two instances in the first month where a problem known as the "Open Tray Error" occurred. I was able to correct it both times without having to open the case of the system. All in all it was a great buy, but I cannot stress enough the importance of the 1 yr warranty, it will give you assurance that if it does go out, you're covered.
As good as a new system
I bought this system today and I am pretty impressed with it.You don't get it jacked up and destroyed. It's as clean and well functioned as a new one.I recommend this to anyone who wants to save money!
I love the Xbox 360. It functions great. To me, it seemed the controller layout would be weird, but it was alright. My only dislike is the memory. I would recommend getting the one with the bigger internal memory.
Very low price for a very good console
I bought this today and it has been very great, it works perfectly, very quiet, and it looks and plays like new!
Best console ever!
I'm amazed with this console - Graphics are amazing and im using component cable with my 19 in Sansui TV. A one year warranty and free game under 10$ was included at my AZ GAMESTOP. I'm glad I can play offline mode since I don't have internet yet. The colors and atmosphere on NBA 2K 13 and Madden 25 are beautiful. The controller is comfortable and easy to use. I'm proud to say that this will be my game system for next 2 yrs. Best deal out there!
Its a great buy very low storage.
The 360 is known for getting the RROD with the older models , but with the slim model despite how its refurbished it a really good start with a cheap slim version of the 360.
In sum, I purchased my first Xbox 360 (used) about a year ago, one of the original models, and it was short-lived: the first one only lasted about 3 days before it stopped reading discs (I checked the hard drive, but that apparently wasn't the issue), so I took it back and tried another similar model, but I don't think the 2nd one worked at all, then finally I think the third model I received lacked an HDMI port, so I called it quits on the 360. Fast forward about a year, and I decide to give another attempt at a 360, but this time, one of the newer "E" models instead. I received it in the mail about a week ago, hooked it up, and it has been working fine since. It is a very quiet system - it gets more noisy when reading discs, but nothing I'd call terrible. I am very impressed with this system. I find the "new" look of the "E" model appealing. Just some tips to lengthen the lifespan of a system: 1. Unplug when not in use; 2. Don't block ventilation (e.g. don't place inside of a case); 3. Don't leave console on for extended periods of time (e.g. overnight); 4. Don't throw a controller at it; 5. Keep it in a secure place (e.g. somewhere it won't easily fall, but still with ventilation) - I leave my consoles unplugged when I'm not using them, and it appears to help, as my PS2 "slim" and original Xbox still work fine (besides my original Xbox's occasional "sticky" disc tray). My opinion, if you are looking to purchase a 360, of the three different model types, I suggest this "E" model, as it is the newest model. I think I've read positive words about the "S" model as well. By the way, I think 4 GB may be more than enough space as long as you play physical game discs rather than downloading them. I currently have 3 games, with some downloaded content, and I think I still have about 2 GB left. I'd say the 360 is a good "media" console - it appears good for, not just games, but also watching videos (e.g. YouTube) and browsing the Internet (e.g. Internet Explorer). Overall, set-up was easy in my opinion, and the console seems like it could last for quite some time with appropriate care. The included controller is very good - mine arrived as a "gold" wireless controller that works great. My 360 plays games and YouTube videos great, and does well with Internet browsing (though I noticed Facebook and Twitter can run a bit slow unless the browser is set to display "mobile" pages, but that may be the Internet connection I'm using).
I got this used and thought it would not work . But it did great I have had this for 3 years And I GOT IT FROM HERE USED . And it has the best game ever on here there are some games down on recommendations that would be fun . try them out . Anyway it has xbox live it cost money but it is the best . One Of The Best Consoles Ever
I love the X-Box 360. It's my second favorite console of all time. There are so many great games that is released for the system such as Aliens : Colonial Marines, Mafia 2, Grand Theft Auto IV, Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3, Red Dead Redemption, Halo 3, GUN, Need For Speed : The Run,The Godfather, Max Payne 3, those are so many more great titles that I can list for this great console. It is a must own system. I got tis model system last Christmas. I fell in love with it. I don't like the original 360 because it tore up too easy, but if your looking for a X-Box 360, this model is the best in my opinion. I give this console a 10 out of 10 for how it operates, the games, and many more.
