Product Details:

Welcome to Onslaught, the first downloadable content pack for Call of Duty®: Ghosts, featuring four unique Multiplayer Maps, an all-new dual purpose Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle, and the first installment in Extinction's four-part episodic narrative.

Four Unique Multiplayer Maps
An All-New Dual Purpose Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle
The First Installment in Extinction's Four-Part Episodic Narrative

Fog - Location: Classified

This small to medium-sized map drops you into a dark and eerie campsite set alongside a fog-shrouded lake. You'll fight through twisting caves, tall grass, and seemingly abandoned structures each providing different gameplay engagements for all types of players. Inspired by classic horror films and terrifying encounters, Fog also harbors a dark secret...

BayView - Location: California, USA

Set on a coastal Californian boardwalk, BayView is a small, fast-paced run-and-gun map complete with a quaint trolley bus, providing cover, transport and even a handy moving platform for cleverly placed sentry guns and other Killstreaks. And look out for deadly strikes called in from a Naval Destroyer anchored offshore.

Containment - Location: Mexico

This smaller-sized map is set along a dry riverbed in a war-torn Mexican village. At the heart of the map is a small bridge with a truck containing leaking radioactive material. A myriad of abandoned bars, cafes, a church and pool hall provide strong close-quarters combat opportunities, while the elevated rooftop and open riverbed offer vantage points to players who prefer longer range engagements.

Ignition - Location: Florida, USA

Inspired by Scrapyard - the fan-favorite Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 map - Ignition drops players into an aging space launch facility. With rockets crash-landing into the area of operations, players must be ready for fast run-and-gun combat, leveraging the environment's debris fields and exposed fuselages for cover. Players can also trigger two different rocket engine tests that send massive jets of fire to incinerate enemy players caught inside their blast radius.

Maverick Assault Rifle & Sniper Rifle

Onslaught also arms players with a deadly new addition to their arsenal with the Maverick, a dual-purpose Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle. Outfitted with a lightweight wood stock and a digital screen display, players can choose to use the Maverick as either an assault rifle or sniper rifle, depending on their tactical needs. As an Assault Rifle the weapon's fire rate becomes full auto with relatively high damage at range, and as a Sniper Rifle the Maverick sports an advanced scope and a semi-auto rate of fire.

Episode 1: Nightfall

Anchoring this first content pack is Episode 1: Nightfall, the first installment in Extinction's four-part episodic narrative. At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the "Alien" threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel and exterminate hordes of savage creatures while surviving a three-story tall terror unlike anything they've faced before. Featuring two all-new species of aliens and an exclusive weapon. Episode 1: Nightfall is a fast & frenetic, action-packed continuation of the Extinction experience.

Complementing the fun, fast-paced multiplayer experience that gamers have come to expect, Onslaught delivers four classically designed Call of Duty® multiplayer maps, each with their own distinct environments, scale, and gameplay variety.

  • Fog: This small to medium-sized map drops you into a dark and eerie campsite set alongside a fog-shrouded lake. You'll fight through twisting caves, tall grass, and seemingly abandoned structures each providing different gameplay engagements for all types of players. Inspired by classic horror films and terrifying encounters, Fog also harbors a dark secret...
  • BayView: Set on a coastal Californian boardwalk with seaside gift stores and an aquarium, BayView is a small, tight, fast-paced run-and-gun map. Moving through the boardwalk is a quaint trolley bus, providing cover, transport and even a handy moving platform for cleverly placed sentry guns and other Killstreaks. Although BayView has a lot of tight corners, it also features some elevated positions offering longer sightlines perfect for Marksman Rifles. Plus, players will want to be on the lookout for Field Orders that, when completed, will trigger a massive and deadly artillery strike from a Naval Destroyer anchored just offshore.
  • Containment: This smaller-sized map is set along a dry riverbed in a war-torn South American village. Battles will rage on both banks as well as along the riverbed itself, and at the heart of the map is a small bridge holding a hi-jacked truck containing leaking radioactive material. The bridge provides a quick route across the map but players will have to contend with the effects of the radiation. A myriad of abandoned bars, cafes, a church and pool hall provide strong close-quarters combat opportunities, while the elevated rooftop and open riverbed offer vantage points to players who prefer longer range engagements.
  • Ignition: Inspired by Scrapyard - the classic, fan-favorite Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 map - Ignition drops players into an aging space launch facility in Florida. This map packs plenty of action both above and below ground thanks to a layout of abandoned buildings, flame trenches, and a massive transport crawler that provides elevated sightlines. With rockets crash-landing into the area of operations, players must be ready for fast run-and-gun combat, leveraging the environment's debris fields and exposed fuselages for cover. Complicating the close-quarters combat, players can trigger two different rocket engine tests that send massive jets of fire to incinerate enemy players caught inside their blast radius.

Onslaught also arms players with a deadly new addition to their arsenal with the Maverick, a dual-purpose Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle. Outfitted with a lightweight wood stock and a digital screen display, players can choose to use the Maverick as either an assault rifle or sniper rifle, depending on their tactical needs. As an Assault Rifle the weapon's fire rate becomes fully auto with relatively high damage at range, and as a Sniper Rifle the Maverick sports an advanced scope and a semi-auto rate of fire.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not get the two guns I recently bought the Call of Duty Onslaught DLC for my Xbox 360. The Nightfall episode is there, and so are the four new maps, but what I didn't get was the two new guns. It really disappointed me. If any one knows how to get of can help me please respond to me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A poorly designed DLC with no content to hold up. This DLC is a reflection on Call of Duty Ghosts is, a poorly done experience. This DLC feels like it should have been necessary in the beginning. The map design is poor and not what has been expected from other Call of Dutys. Fog is the coolest looking map to me but it is almost unplayable. There are too many firing lanes and people are not able to get anywhere without moving around the map and that takes a while. The Maverick weapons do not feel like part of the game and are good, but like with the Peacekeeper in Black Ops 2, it is heavily over used. The new Extinction map Nightfall is okay enough. I have enjoyed it so far and will probably play it more. This is an average DLC that i hope is not a trend for Call of Duty as a franchise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent dlc They sale this for 15 dollars on gamestop but that just gives you 15 to your xbox live account when u enter the code so make sure u have about a dollar 14 to 2 dollars extra for tax that microsoft now takes when you buy product from your xbox live account. My total said i was short due to tax purposes. So if you get this on here also get a 5 dollar card just to be safe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Your not really buying the DLC Hello everyone, I just want to say that if your buying this, Your not paying for the DLC, Your just buying $15 to add to your balance on Xbox Live. I thought I was getting the DLC, But I didn't because you only get $15. The DLC on Xbox is $15 plus tax. So if your thinking about buying the DLC, make sure that you buy at least a $20 card instead. Now I can't enjoy the DLC because I need to wait to buy additional money so I can pay for tax.
