Xbox 360 Tron Wired Controller
The Baddest Controller on Planet
I purchased this for my PC running windows Vista and BAMM! It works! I am very happy with this controller. I had a Microsoft wired controller first and in my opinion this controller equals it, in durability, playability, and feel. Someone gave this controller a 1 rating.....Ridiculous. The TRON controller is not only as good as the MS brand its worth more in the long run if you take care of it and someday want to liquidate it. I just wish I could afford a few of these so I could cash in on the movie craze week before christmas.
I don't know if it will work in any other OS on PC, and I uploaded 2 cool pics for Tronnies.....
Very cool look, mediocre quality...
This controller caught my eye for obvious reasons, it literally glowed like a christmas tree! Although I thought 50 bucks was a bit much for a wired controller, I just had to have it. The packaging it came in was very elaborate, unfortunately in vein. It's pretty much just like evey other 3rd party controller. It also harbors all of the issues that come with a 3rd party controller, an awkward grip and seemingly mediocre quality. There are a few things in particular that bug me. The analog sticks are way to "springy" and seem to offer far too much resistance when trying to move them about. Also the springs in the triggers seem to have the exact opposite problem. They seem a little flimsy and don't spring back quite at nicely as other controllers, which is mostly likely not a problem unless you're playing fast paced shooters like COD. Over all you can see where all the money went. The controller looks amazing, but feels and plays like every other 25 dollar 3rd party controller.
Amazing piece of hardware.
I came across this controller while I was on a trek to find a good gamepad for my recent plunge into PC gaming. My buddies always tell me that the 360 controllers are easily the best to use and on a whim I started searching.
Saw this, and instantly fell in love - a bit pricey but when it finally came in I understood why.
This is a quite possibly the highest quality controller I've ever had.
It has a glossy topface and the bottom is smooth, durable heavy-duty plastic with the feel of carbon-fiber. The sides have stylized grips in the vein of technological advancement - and they are accentuated by the glowing led lights.
OH THE LIGHTS.
The glow of the tron controller has my dorm-mate hypnotized every time i get ready for a particular game session.
I also like the fact that it is wired because if it wasn't I'm pretty sure I'd be throwing away all my dosh for batteries.
The length of the wire is not an issue - I game on a pc, it hasn't really affected me, but i suspect console gamers will have their complaints.
The buttons are quite responsive, and the sticks are a bit springy - it is better this way. The triggers do their job, and everything comes together to make this amazing piece of hardware.
You get your money's worth, this is an insanely well-made 3rd party product.
I think it's the best controller on the 360
Let me get the one bad out of the way. It's wired. The good though far outweighs the bad. It's easily the best controller for the system. It feels great in the hands, the buttons are good and responsive which is pretty impressive for a 3rd party controller. The rumble feels great. The best part of the controller is the D-Pad. No more unresponsive d-pad as this solves the issue that plagues the regular MS official controller. I can actually play fighting games with this controller. I heavily suggest this if you are looking for a very comfortable and very responsive controller.
Very good controller i would recommend it to anyone, but the one i got 1 month after Christmas right trigger broke had to return to get refund and there are no more left. ("sigh")
This thing is soo-sweet! I just picked it up today and plugged it in and man this thing is great! Lights up very bright blue tron style and the controller looks great, it is really a shame that it is wireless but based on the lighting effect it would eat up the batteries quickly, it is that cool and bright looking. I guess I will have to deal with the wire, however, it is worth getting it although it should be a bit cheaper because it is wired, I mean who has wired controller nowadays? I guess I do now. Weird. You are just paying more because it is a Tron and Disney named product, probably. Anyway it is great I recommend getting it!
Now if only my 360 looked like that
I gotta say, this is the coolest controller I have ever seen, although I wish that there was a wireless one, but I'm pretty sure that it would make it more expensive if it was, and it would kill your batteries faster than your console would start up, oh well just as long as its comfortable to hold, and the cord is long enough, I'll have to give this a 9/10, it looks amazing, and is one of the best I have ever seen, but it sucks its not wireless.
Having seen lots of complaints about it being wired, I would have to say I prefer them that way. You don't end up spending about 80 dollars to get a decent controller, and you almost never have to worry about it cutting out on you. I know I am getting it when it comes out.
i love this controller it looks and feels Amazing if u were lucky enough to get one good for you :)
i want this so bad
i really want this controller, just the way it looks makes me want it i hope that it is a good controller though meaning i hope it works well with any game and i hope its durable but playing with this controller in the dark would be epic i can just picture myself playing call of duty black ops with this controller without a doubt i think this would be my favorite controller you ppl know what im talking about this is the controller that when your friends come over you only get to play with because you love the design so much to end this i have to get this controller as soon as possible
