Rated 4 out of 10 by gamerexpress I got ripped off...
Before I thought I can say goodbye to disposable batts, but then the battery has a major setback. The small orange bars on the bak of the battery pack was dirty and was scratched up, so the charger couldn't read the battery completely, so I got to keep the charger in, in order to use the controller.I got a battery that was used by a few people, so it got dirty somehow. I might get a brand-new battery pack to replace the messed-up battery---I don't really know---. If it weren't for that, I would've used and played my Xbox 360 for at least 26 hours per day---not actally---.It's still a good product, only if you get a brand new battery pack, otherwise you will feel like you're using a WIRED controller instead of having wireless freedom. Lesson for all your Xbox 360 gamers, buy a brand new battery pack with a brand new charge kit. Using a used one, you might get ticked off of the fuctionality of the battery.

Rated 10 out of 10 by SpaHa your 'dead' batteries probably aren't dead
Earlier, i was browsing through the site and noticed many people having an issue with these batteries suddenly not charging anymore. the same happened to me and a friend and figured something's up. we realized it happened to our batteries we didn't use after a few weeks. i researched and found out that over time, if you don't use the batteries, they drain themselves out. After that time, the charge is so low in them, they won't be able to turn on your controller and the charge kits will not be able to read the charge right. It's like putting them on a charge scale that reads from 0 - 100, and your battery is at negative 10. A trick i read up on is to plug the battery in using your play and charge kit, ( i don't see why it wouldn't work on the quick charge ). the charging light wil turn red red and then turn green. when it turns green, un plug the charger and do it again. Keep doing it until the charge light stays red and charges the battery correctly. So far, I've only done it to one of my batteries that 'died' and it's kept its charge for as long as it should. Hope this helps.

Okay now who would waste so much money on Double AA Battries i was like "Dad do we have battires"? He told me "No but i'll get them for your birthday". So i look online and i found "Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack " Thats when i said Dad can you get me this? He said Ofcourse. You can play and charge it at the same time No problem with it you could never get comfused with the regular back because the Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery is wavy in the back but the regular isnt its just straight as a road (: I hghly doubt it the wire for the controller will get messed up because, its thick for the layering. Really i see no point in the Doube AA Battires because even they cost as much as the "Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack" I recommend it to everybody that needs to save money (:

Rated 10 out of 10 by MLG BLooDSHoT Nice way to save money overtime...
I can't begin to tell people how much money my friends wasted on buying batteries continuously for his controllers. I finally got a play and charge and showed him how much money you can save in one month of playing. He was shocked and he immediatly bought a play and charge kit. The rechargeable battery is just like a normal battery pack although it can instantly be recharged while you are still playing. The only flaw that I have with mine is that, I have noticed that the length time of the battery charge has slowly gone down ever since using it. I have to charge mine every two days or so to keep it at a fairly high level. Most of my friends now use a rechargeable battery just from the amount of money I showed them they would save. Overall I do think that it is wise to invest in this product.

Rated 10 out of 10 by Silentkilla Great Buy
i believe that if you hate having to buy ungodly amounts of batteries just to power your xobox360 controllers, then you ahve to get this because it is very convientant can can save you lots of cash money. i like the fact that it is the same size and shape of the normal batteries and not oversized like some other products with aftermarket batteries. if you buy this you will also have to buy the dock which can hold 2. i currently only have 1 because i play alot with my friends online but not that much with them at my house. Its a definate buy if you get annoyed with the constant changing of battery's. you pretty much get done gaming, plug the suckers in, and when you wake up tomorrow, your all set and ready to go. i would buy it another time if i didnt already have one.

Rated 4 out of 10 by JestoNsane4u Don't Buy The Black Pack, They Don't Hold A Charge
I don't know what it is like if you have the white packs but, I buy specifically the black packs cause, my controllers are black. The first two I had purchased with my first xbox lasted for three years. When they quit working as well, I went and bought a new one. It quit working well, shortly after a year. I just bought one last month and, I swear it holds maybe an hour charge. I don't know if they are defective from sitting on store shelves too long without being charged or, if quality control has gone way down hill over there at Microsoft but. I am done purchasing black rechargeable packs.

honestly one of the best choices i have ever made. I have had two battery packs since 2008 when I first got my xbox360 Elite and they have lasted me ever since. although they no longer last as long as they used to for $30 i can buy two brand new ones that will last me almost another 3 years. I highly recommend this battery pack toany gamer, whether a weekend warrior or a hardcore gamer.

You need this in order to enjoy an Xbox 360 properly. It is a shame the Xbox 360 controller isn't rechargeable as standard.
