Xbox 360 Halo: Reach Wireless Headset
Awesome graphics but not very comfortable
This item looks very appealing, its very nice that it has no wires. But it lacks that complete comfort and battery life. I can start off saying that it buggs the crud out of me to get it connected to my xbox at first, it would connect to other controllers and such, and just a pain in the butt. Also the comfort is not for people that play on there xbox for more then 3 hours a day. The ear peace falls off alot, but I did note that it is very handy that it comes with a larger rubber piece, for those who have large ears. On the up side it did preform well on saying that the sound was change able, for when a child is radding on for how your a noob, and hes better you can turn the sound down. Also if you have a halo reach xbox 360 limted edition the this is a great match for people are into all of that style. Over all I would say i would give it a buy for only non very sirius gamers, looking for a nice fix, for a high price. Go to the video and its not the halo reach one but it is the same with out the graphics.
Great Wireless Mic
I'm not necessarily the biggest halo fan ever but this product along with the halo controller caught my eye. Both products have a very sleek design on them. Product comes with 2 different ear pieces to fit different people. Volumes goes plenty loud, you should have no troubles hearing the 5 years yell over XBL. Easily muted with the touch of a button and un-muted the same way. Very comfortable I can go endless hours with it on. Battery life is about 8-12 hours with a very quick hour or so charge.
Hopefully this doesn't turn out like my previous wireless mics if bought from MS. After 6 months they just don't turn on any more and then I have to go through the hassle of buying a new one and taking the broken one back.
Also if you aren't use to the extra thing on your ear it might bother you just a little till you get use to it. Also your ears will bleed if you have to set there and listen to the 5 years old scream all day.
Excellent headset, one of the best you can get!
There are two reasons why I bought this. The first reason I bought this is because I am a HUGE Halo fan! Second, my wired headset was just annoying me and it would always bug out. The Halo Reach Headset's performance is very good just one slight thing that is wrong with it. Sometimes you hear static while your talking which you can deal with. It's just a little static in the background but nothing major. The design could have been better but the color and text is pretty cool. And it seems that the connection with this is much better than the wired headset. You can go in another room and still be talking (the room can not be far away though). I would recommend this item for people that are Halo fans, or need a new headset. Halo Reach comes out tomorrow (9/14/10) and I plan to also get the remote also. Overall this is an awesome headset and a very good item!
ok first off monkeynese or whatever its the same price of 49.99 so FAIL. ok to the headset its a must but product got mine bout 6 hours ago let charge a lil then gamed and it was amazing no cracky voices or bad connection lags and best of it stuck to my ear like ear muffs amazing . just go out and buy one its limited edition. and sexy looking!!! also pre order the upcoming halo reach.ive preordered the console and will be doing a review . thank you very much bungie, microsoft, and gamestop. IVE PRE-ORDERED HAVE YOU?!?!?
Headset is Awesome.
I've read alot of reviews on thees headsets before i bought one. Needless to say, I love it. The sound is crystal clear, and when it picks up you voice, there is no lag, and that makes for a happy gamer. I like the fact that it is rechargeable, no more need for batteries. alot of people are having problems with stepping on it, all i have to say is PICK IT UP! dont let your expensive stuff stay laying around. GET THE WIRELESS HEADSET, well worth the 50 bucks, and get Halo REACH! also very cool. Add me on XBOX LIVE, my gamer tag is cr4zy f1sh. i play alot of halo, crackdown, need for speed and Black ops. Thanks for reading!
one of my favorte headsets and i love halo reach and the whole halo series so that ts why this is cool.
Best wireless mic ever!!
this wireless headset is th best you can get. besides from the cool halo reach design, it never gives me problems.
This is an exceptional Mic. It is a must have for any Halo fanatic. But it will sometimes disconnect for about 5 seconds. Overall, This is a great buy!
Nice mic with a little garbage mixed in
First off, I can't really rate this item's graphics so I don't know why Gamestop makes me answer that question but on to the actual item. Yes, it's sleek especially when sitting next to the Halo Reach controller. I bought this brand new assuming that Microsoft wasn't going to repeat the same mistake with their first line of wireless headsets that notoriously didn't work out of the box. I guess I was wrong. This headset seems to lose connection with the 360 quite often. Normally it will cut out for about 5 seconds and re-establish connection. Not a big deal but still annoying. The main problem with this is that every so often it completely loses connection and begins registering as a controller with the 360 itself (I have a 250 gb slim). This means that it will not pair up with 1P at all, it won't even light up when alternating connection ports. Each time it takes about 15 minutes to get the 360 to pair back up with it properly. Pushing the sync button more than once defeats the purpose of a wireless item. If you want full on quality then I suggest nixing this idea and fork over the extra $20 or so for a base model Turtle Beach set. You get a perfect connection every time and the vocal audio balances perfectly with the in-game as you can actually adjust the two sources without messing with the preferences.
Best headset ever made for console!
I have had many headsets but this by far is my favorite. With the dome type speaker you don't have something digging into your ear or putting pressure in your ear. The ear loop is super comfortable to the point of forgetting it is even on sometimes. This in turn lowers the chance for ear or head aches. No background noise is received and it is crystal clear on both ends of conversation.
