Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for the price The x12 is a very nice headset, i've purchased some headsets up too 200$ or more, i bought this over two years ago and it's still amazing, it broke a couple of days ago though, gonna buy another one of these right away!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Pretty Good... So I bought this headset, thinking it was wireless. When I got to the store and found out it was wired, I decided to still buy it, thinking that I didn't need wireless. So I got home, and set it up easily on my PC. The sound is great, and is really great as a headset, except for the fact that the wire is way to long for simple PC use, and as often as not, it gets tangled with all my other wires. I tried tying it up, and it helped a little, but it still was inconvenient, especially when I tried to unplug it. My final analysis is that you should try this one out for console gaming, and even for PC gaming if you are super organized, but just be warned about how inconveniently long the wire is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Headset for specific users.... IF you want to just plug and play this is definitely not your headset. You have to buy an adapter to get the audio to work on the headphones if you're using an HDMI cable. Luckily if you don't want to buy an adapter you can pop the plastic piece off your old VGA cable to make it able to fit in while you have an HDMI cable plugged in at the same time. If you still have your VGA cable that is. It did not work on one of my controllers altough the original xbox headset works on that controller. I would of had to use an alternate controller (not my new good one) for these things to work. It was a pain to setup... You need an adapter for your VGA cable to be able to plug into your xbox at the same time as your HDMI cable is plugged in. The volume can go up REALLLLY loud. Like in the manual it talks about starting the volume out at 0 and going up to a comfortable volume then. This headset really CAN damage your ears. You can turn it up insanely loud. The microphone constantly leaves the audio open, so it hears your breathing, it will hear your tv, it will pick up ALL the background noises. If you want to be that guy....haha then this is that headset. The only way I would recommend this to a friend is if he had a quiet room to play in. Besides those listed problems it seems like a great headest. I love playing games with the audio in headphones, but unfortunately this headset just doesnt work for me. My house is much to noisy for a headset with such a sensitive mic. I took it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cord is too long The headset was the best headset I have ever had, the only problem is that the cord was too long. But that wasn't much of a problem because you could easily just coil it up near the base of the Xbox. If you were planning on getting a headset, I recommend getting this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Headphones! These are the best wired headset you could get for the xbox 360. The Sound is crisp and clear and they're very comfortable. The mic picks up your voice perfectly. They also block outside noise very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst mic EVER I do not recommend to give this mic to a friend or a family member because it will not last for 3-6 months TOTAL
