Unlike any other controller I've had!
I play COD, Halo, Battlefield, and other shooting games. Ive had so many different controllers, but I got this one and have had it for a very long time. Its not the quick action buttons on the back, I rarely use those except for reloading buttons. But what set it far from any other controller, was the triggers, and most importantly the analog stick. I rock 10 sensitivity on every game because the analog sticks are so precise and accurate its unbelievable. I never had any wire problems either, until my dog chewed the wire in half, and i had to go back to my normal white controller, and honestly my aim and normal high accurate sniping went down. THIS CONTROLLER MAKES YOUR SKILLS SHINE. Get it, its worth every penny :]

Good while it lasts
The controller was amazing when it worked. I had it for 2 months it was amazing it felt good and I could play games with ease. Then it broke and thank goodness I was still in the allotted time and returned it. The second one broke a few weeks later. I returned it and got myself the silver controller one and never looked back on it as well as Call Of Duty in general.

good while it lasts.
I really like the design and grip of this controller. This controller also helped my performance in games. But that did not last long. As I was playing a game, the Left Bumber fell off. I don't know why because i'm not one of those gamers who throw their stuff when they are mad. I take care of my stuff. I only used the contoller for about 2-3 months.

Not bad
Your thumbs constantly hurting from the hundreds of hours of playing Call of Duty and pressing down on the analog sticks to run and knife your opponents ? No not a sales pitch but I gotta say with the combat buttons underneath it says a lot of thumb fatigue. The analog sticks are good but to me they are not as good as the official Microsoft controller. They are rubberized but no ridges or anything for grip so you might want to get some grip it covers. The face buttons and triggers all work just fine. I see a lot of complaints about the combat buttons and I am sure it is a love hate relationship for some. I have large hands and for me they are in the perfect spot. The controller is fairly light but does feel well constructed. It is also really comfortable in the hands. For third party it is decent but because it is licensed with the Call of Duty name on it, it sells at full price which it should be a bit cheaper than it is.

Much better than expected
Good solid wired controller that doesn't require a battery pack for it to work. Good design, good feel, and guess what? It actually works! If I happend to find any fault with it I will just simply return it, but as it stands I am happy with the purchase. The combat buttons are simple to use, the triggers are tight, the ABXY buttons have the same sensitivity as the MS controllers. The precision aim feature is cool but it takes alot of practice to get used to it. The rubberized grips are a huge plus, and it is much lighter which is a given being that you don't have a big, bulky battery pack attached to the back of it. If you want a cheap replacement controller or just a second one this isn't a bad choice in MY OPINION. Oh, did I mention that the analog sticks light up? pretty cool.

Don't waste your time
Honestly why waste your hard earned money on this controller when you can buy Kontrol Freek FPS sticks for 12 bucks? They add on to your analog sticks. Making them higher and more precise.

NOT SO GREAT NOW
I have two of these controllers and they both have the same problem. The wire has a short or something wrong with the wire to controller connection. I will be playing and the reconnect your controller message keeps popping up. My 11 yr son has stop using it, but I like the grips on the side so I continue to use it. I emailed Madcatz on the thrid of June and told them what was happening and if they had a fix, but no respose. Overall if you can live with the wire problem get one. I wish they work correctly I really like the look and feel of the controller. As for the bottom buttons never have used them.

second review
About 3 months ago i purchased the black ops controller and i was in love with it. but now, 3 months later i went through 2!!! controllers both with the same problem of having a cord defective, it basically would just not work. So now i went back to the Microsoft controller and i had no problems since. The pros about it though was that the grip on the side was very nice and the precision aim was nice. It also looks great too with all the black ops logo on them. But overall i was disappointed with it because of the durability of it, and its defiantly not worth 50 bucks
