Horrible
Microsoft's recommended height for using Kinect is anywhere between 2 and 6 feet high. This thing stands a foot and a half tall and is in no way, shape, or form adjustable. I had to put the stand on a box to get a decent height, which is absolutely ridiculous. I returned this waste of time the same day I bought it and IMO no store should sell it.
Wait on a taller/adjustable stand if you need something like this and keep on using whatever barstool/box/folding table combination you're using at the moment, because you'll still be using at least part of it to get this stand to a decent height.

It's not worth the money...
The floor mount for the Kinect is basically two pvc pipes painted with a glossy black finish. The image on the box gives the illusion where it is adjustable, but it ISN'T. After assembling the parts together, you will discover that it is only two feet tall. If you can avoid buying this product, then do because it isn't worth $30.

Cheap, Too Short
lazy description...no min.-max. height measurements! States that is it ideal height.... According to the documentation included with the Kinect, it is to be between 2' and 6' high (the closer to either the higher or lower limit -- the better, which this is being approx. 2' talll)..But, at least a few game for the Kinect state ideal height as being close to eye level. This cheap (not worth the price) plastic thing is basically 2' tall at its max... it does not telescope higher/lower... the description doesn't state that it would-- however, it appears like it may from the picture... and the description doesn't give any hieght! It may have been my fault for expecting an adjustable height, but this is still not worth the price. I don't have a ton of space beyond the required 6ft to play and really need a taller stand for proper placement for my games without having my head/feet cut off. I chose this one over the TV mount as the reviews are even worse for that one...and at the time, this one had just the 1 review.. a positive one.

So glad....
I am so glad that this was made, because we have a projector screen instead of a television, and because of the projector we have no place to set the Kinect Sensor Bar, but now from this we, are happy to play kinect on the biggest screen in the house.
