Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Pro GamePad for Xbox 360
If you consistently use a standard wireless Xbox 360. You will instantly notice the improvement in responsiveness, from the first kill you make. Turbo junk is cheating! Very happy this is not turbo. This controller will improve your game, without being a turbo scrub.
$19.99, can't go wrong.
You have to look through the accessory section yourself. Not many of the clerks realize this is the exact same controller as the Mad Catz FPS Pro, at twice the price. It's packaging doesn't make it clear. You just can't change the LED color scheme from blue. That's the only functional difference. I'm not a Ghost Recon player, so the tie in means nothing to me. This is available on at the store, not online, since it's clearance. .The pad is the weak part of this controller, however, the triggers, and buttons are solid. I have a tendency to press hard on the buttons that forces me to open up the MS xbox controller and clean off it's contacts. (underneath the buttons, mounted on a rubber gasket are metallic contacts that touch the pc board to make the circuit. These contacts shed dust with use, disabling the button, or switch.) I have to use an automotive electronic contact cleaner spray to clear this up.. So far in heavy game play, the buttons of the FPS Pro have held up. It seems like a solid device. I suggest you find these hidden bargains before they are sold out!
Same controller as old Black Ops controller
This is the exact same controller as the old Black Ops controller madcatz made in the past, The only difference is the graphics printed on the case and the rubber grips on the sides, Oh yeah the LED lights in the analog sticks are blue, The black ops controller lasted a few months, kind of fragile and the RB and LB buttons broke, The right analog stick was too sensitive and I would get killed aiming at someone and by accident push it too hard, I would stab in the air with my knife while getting shot (haha).... I have had this controller for about a week and it suffered a drop of about a foot and a half, The LB button broke already, I've dropped the Xbox 360 controller several times and it's tougher then nails... The good thing about this controller is how fast it responds when you're turning... The combat buttons on the bottom are still tooooo far forward and hard to reach with my fingertips, I have long fingers and the buttons should be an 1/8th or 1/4 inch towards the rear of the controller... The combat buttons should be a little bigger... I enjoy using this controller due to the response of the turn sticks as I play on insane sensitivity (10)... Not recommending this controller to anyone, If Madcatz changes the combat buttons and makes the buttons a little sturdier, I would buy several extra controllers to last for years.
This controller was the best one I have ever owned, however, after a few weeks it just started to randomly disconnect from the xbox. Going to return it tomorrow.
