Product Details:

Big Bucks, No Whammys! The cult classic game show makes its video game debut on the Wii, DS, and PC/Mac. Contestants collect "spins" by answering trivia questions, and then use their "spins" on an 18-space game board full of cash and prizes. The person who amasses the most in cash and prizes at the end of the game wins. Watch out for those famous Whammies along the way, they will steal all of your cash and prizes.

  • The Retro Classic Game Show Debuts on Wii and DS - All of the favorite moments of the show are in the game.
  • Custom Avatars - Design your avatar from head to toe, including body, facial features, hair and clothes.
  • Unlock Achievements - Use your winnings for customized items for your avatar. Achievements are also connected to Price is Right and Family Feud.
  • Premium Graphics - 3D models, enhanced interactivity, and detailed set and game design to match the modern look and feel of the show.
  • 3000 Trivia Questions + 50 Whammy Animations = Fun For All - This proven game formula is easy to pick up and play and fun for the whole family.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gameplay like the show, but lacking features... I loved the original gameshow, and the gameplay is a good recreation of the fun of the big board. Whammies, Big Bucks, trips and prizes included. The Whammie cartoons are pretty fun, and the sounds are funny, although the transitions to and from could improve. The characters are true to form, with excited clapping for themselves and each others. A bit of a necessary twist from the real life game, the questions are multiple choice for the 1st contestant to ring in, and multiple choice with one fewer answer for the remaining contestants. The big board rounds are the same, with 'owned' and 'pass-able' spins for each player. It is definitely a fun time, especially for anyone who has seen the game show. But for the cost of this game I feel it should have some more features: - Ability to save game data - A High Scores board (no, it doesn't have one) - Better question control (repeats occurred in game #2 with the same players, same session) - A multi-player function that also adds in an AI as the 3rd player - Ability to use Mii characters instead of the limited characters offered. As you play you do get to unlock accessories (clothing, sunglasses, more styles...), but I'd prefer to see my Mii styling with some earned accessories. Again, I recommend it for fans of the show, but because of a lack of some standard try to get it at a used or reduced price.
