Product Details:

The lands of Eldar have long been known as the origin of chaos, a place where monsters and demons wreak havoc, indiscriminate in their madness. Legend tells of how the Spirit King, whose coming was heralded in by a meteor shower, gained control of the creatures and waged an unrelenting war upon civilization. Order and life were brought to the brink of destruction, but an alliance of the four races was able to drive them back and seal the evil. Centuries more have passed and once again the lands are slowly being overrun by the reemerging monsters. Without a known cause or even a united front to repel them, it would seem that this time, Eldar will fall. It is up to the main character to take up the forgotten mantle of the hero, reunite the races, and confront the hordes of monsters.

The third in the Valhalla Knights series created by the development team K2 (Tenchu series) and Marvelous Entertainment Inc., Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga marks the series jump to home console as it debuts on Wii. Boasting a revamped graphics engine with real-time battles playing out on the field map, the Valhalla Knights experience is refined and improved while keeping the customization and exploration options that the series is known for intact. The series expands further as two players can now play and explore the world of Eldar together online via an internet connection.

Key Features

  • Multi-generational Storyline - The player starts off as a human that seeks to reconcile and recreate old alliances with the dwarves, halflings, and elves. As the story progresses, the player can choose a character of any of the races, each with specific strengths and weaknesses that can be customized further.
  • Fully Customizable Characters - With five basic job classes (Fighter, Mage, Priest, Thief, Bard) and numerous advanced classes each with their own specific skills, abilities, and weapons and equipment that change the appearance of the player's character, the customization options are almost limitless.
  • Real-time Battles on the Field Map - Battles take place in real-time, and all enemies are visible on the field map with no random encounters. These foes may be fought or avoided as the player sees fit.
  • Build Your Own Battle Party - Specify the race and job class of your accompanying party members as you hire mercenaries at the local tavern.
  • Online Multiplayer - Party up with a second player online to explore the land of Eldar together.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from RPG or just a broken road map? I got this game for Christmas, and lemme tell you I was sorely dissapointed with Xseed. At first I thought it was one of those games where you create a character, pick a class, and then boom you instantly start with some gameplay. NNNNOOOOOooooo!!! It's run around in YOUR OWN TOWN figuring out what to do. Also you cannot rest in your own house (really?) So after 15+ minutes of running around in what looks like girl clothing (I created a GUY character Xseed!) I finally got in some gamplay. Here's what the tutorial is: fight defenseless bunnies, look like a girl, have Link's voice, level up after killing two of said bunnies, and get lost so bad you wanna rage quit!!! Xseed, you owe me and my mom $10!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have failed to describe how bad this game is If you ever wanted to know how upset you could get when you've realized you've just played the worst game ever, wasted a lot of time hoping it would get better, and trying to figure out what in the world is going on, then play this game. Hands down the worst game I've ever played. The story..... oh wait there is no story. The cut scene for beating the first half explains nothing! The controls are a disaster. Get ready to get lost because that's one of two things you do in this game. The second thing you will be doing is grinding. You will grind trying to level up forever because the last area is so ridiculously hard. I would say this game is forgettable but rest assured you will never forget how upsetting this game is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I'd like to start off by saying DONT BE FOOLED BY THE COVER. You look like a peasant the entire game. You never end up looking like the guy on the front. The controls are horrible! The graphics are equal to Playstation 1 type games. There is hardly a story line. The game is basically fight, fight, fight, get lost, and get lost some more. You don't know where you need to go or what you need to do there most of the time. Equipment choices are poor. The main character says around 4 sentences the whole game otherwise he normally says "....". The whole game feels like you're playing the same level over and over. After you beat the first half you get a 10 second cut scene and it basically tells you nothing. You literally have no idea what was going on after seeing it (unless you red the manual that comes with the game which tells you what the cut scene should have been). Honestly this game is a complete waste of money and time. It's almost like homework because you constantly have to research what to do next online which sounds easy but is surprisingly a mission. Pure disappointment all around fail of a game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed At first, I had high hopes for this game, thinking it looked awesome. I played it, and VERY quickly got disappointed. I barley got far at all. I didn't understand what to do, it seemed fun if I had grasp of it, but I don't think so...I didn't know how to shoot arrows, use a magic move, or any of that, I didn't know where to go, or know what to do. The game may be fun when you grasp it, but if you like games like me, then I suggest you DO NOT buy this game. It is a waste of your money, and you will probably be disapointed as I was. At first, for the magicians, it brings fun in, which gave me hope, battling a dragon. But then I had to do the same stuff as my other character, and I finished that, then I was stuck. I hope if you have this game you get grasp and enjoy it more then I did, but really, I didn't enjoy it. So please if your like me, don't waste your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprised I wasnt to excited about this game when i first heard about it. Then i saw screenshots and thought it looked pretty good. I got Really excited though when i found out it had co-op and my friend in my clan was going to get it too. This game was more of a game to hold us over till Monster hunter 3 comes out.But Im probably gonna keep this game for a very long time. There is a huge variety of monsters weapons and armour. The graphics arent even that bad there pretty good. Physics are amazing and the weaopns and armour look great. The dragons could have probably looked a little better but idc about graphics that much(they were still good though). I would highly suggest this game to any hardcore RPG players. Especially since it has online co-op.
