Product Details:

One of the most storied franchises in history soars to new heights. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword shakes up the tried-and-true adventure game formula and marks a turning point for the franchise. The introduction of full motion controls enabled by Wii MotionPlus technology synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering the most intuitive play control of any game in the series to date.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword boasts the most realistic sword combat of any game to date, turning every encounter into a challenge of both brains and brawn. Wii MotionPlus technology accurately translates the angle of every sword slice, effectively putting Link's blade in the player's hand. Analyzing enemy attack and defense tendencies and counteracting with precise swings of the sword provide a satisfying experience that blends puzzle-solving with a new and distinctly unique combat system.
  • Explore a massive, multilayered world that seamlessly blends soaring exploration in a sea of clouds with intense ground-based adventuring that blurs the line between the main world and traditional Zelda dungeons. Link soars through the skies on the back of a noble bird and dives beneath the clouds to the continent below in an epic quest that lays the foundation for the events in the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
  • Prepare for intense puzzle-solving as only The Legend of Zelda games can deliver. Exploration of the forests, volcanoes and deserts requires players to think on their feet as they solve puzzles, overcome obstacles and escape deadly traps. Once they find their way to each dungeon, they are confronted by even more puzzles guarded by fiendish enemies.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword redefines the traditional Zelda framework and introduces an arsenal of items, upgrades and rewards unlike any game in the franchise to date. The adventure guides players into, out of and back to dungeons and areas they've already completed. Along the way, Link gathers a massive inventory of peculiar items and resources that can be used to upgrade many of his weapons and equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game This game is waaaaaaay better than I expected. I thought it would stink because I hate motion controls, but Nintendo finally got it right here. The story was great. The graphics were great (For the wii anyway). And it was the first Zelda game I beat. Not played. Beat. I love Zelda games but this one is my favorite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but has some problemes Ok this is my first zelda game and I am enjoing it. But it is kind of liniar and dowsing and dungon maps are unnecesary. Also it feels like a metroid game with swords rather than a normal zelda game. The overworld is little. The sword play is fun but also you use motion controls to much. The bosses are good and fun (exept the inprisoned). Also the game starts out preaty slow. This is the last thing i am going to complain about fi. Fi is sooooooo anoying and is just not good. But the game is fun funtcons and will keep you engaged for hours. This game is worth it for newcomers for the serise and zelda fans. also the price is ok.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I skipped this Zelda game! So this game has been out for YEARS. I skipped it due to the lack of hype. I finally bought it, played it, and beat it all within one week. This game is very easy to follow. I love the other Zelda titles, but this one is just a tad different. The motion controls are very frustrating at times, but overall, the story makes this game worth it. The only issue that I really had with this game is that it is almost too easy. Ocarina of Time was so much more challenging and Twilight Princess was a challenge as well, but this one is easier for a Zelda newbie to become accustomed to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Swing in the Wrong Direction Before I get too critical with this game just know that it's an amazing RPG and a must play for Wii owners. Skyward Sword was a nice way for Nintendo to play around with the timeline that everyone's been fiddling with. This give a nice introduction to the Zelda "story" of games. Personally, I feel the puzzles in this game are pretty lackluster. They're very unique but I feel like a mark was missed. The biggest problem I have with this game is the motion controls; but once you get a hang of it... Who am I kidding, no one gets the hang of it. I think Nintendo wanted to change up their game style after the poor reviews Twilight Princess got on release but this was definitely a swing in the wrong direction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have no words for the awesomeness this game has This Legend of Zelda game is the 25th anniversary game and oh my god is it awesome! The entire game's music was all orchestrated and my game came with a soundtrack which was amazing as well. As for the game, the puzzles get progressively harder in the game, but it won't even matter, because the story is phenomenal! However, I must address the controls, there's nothing wrong with it, it just gets a little tiring after a while and it can sometimes de-sync with the game and it gets frustrating, other than that, this gam is 10/10 would recommend. Do yourself a favor, and buy this game. It's worth it!
