Product Details:

"The Last Airbender" is the official video game of the highly anticipated live action adventure film by M. Night Shyamalan. The game follows the climax of the movie from the perspective of the antagonist Prince Zuko, exiled prince of the Fire Nation, who embarks on an epic journey to capture the Avatar, a young boy named Aang, in order to regain his father's honor. Players immerse themselves in an incredible interactive world as Aang, Zuko and the Blue Spirit - participating in epic battles, hand-to-hand combat and various challenges throughout the game discovering and mastering amazing Firebending and Airbending abilities.

  • Become Aang, Zuko and The Blue Spirit - As Zuko, use destructive Firebending bombs, blasts and more to battle for power. As Aang, use amazing Airbending powers such as Air Vortexes and Tornados to manipulate the environment and control the elements. As The Blue Spirit, Zuko's Ninja alter ego, defeat your foes using stealth maneuvers, smoke bombs and unique weapons.
  • Discover your bending powers - Players utilize the Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuck to bend fire and air as they combat, destroy, battle and maneuver through the mystical universe in single or 2 player Co-op mode.
  • The Movie Experience Plus More - Brand-new, ground-breaking Wii physics and particle systems bring the movie experience to life like never before. A telekinesis system allows players to manipulate the environment as well as combat enemies to a new level of depth and control that has not been experienced before. To add further depth and uniqueness, the player experiences environments such as underground caves and cities that are exclusive to the game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Avatarguy This game is OK. This game has a lot of challenge because you don't have block and your opponents basically have higher health levels than you in the beginning. The graphics and animations are pretty nice for a Wii game, but sometimes, whenever I do a firebending move as Zuko, I skim the top of his head and yet the guy still gets hurt. The length of the game is pretty short. There are 10 levels and two of them are incredibly short. I finished the game in a matter of a few days and that too because I didn't have much time to play. The game is really based more on the movie than the Avatar TV series, but since it's in Zuko's point of view, it has a great story. The only part of the story line that is controversial is the end, but that's only a little bit. The controls are pretty simple too. Here are cons and pros of the game. The cons are that you have no dodges (except a double jumps) and you have no block which sucks if your are fighting a lot of people. It is nearly impossible to fight one of the regular opponents which is called the Heavy Soldiers which is just like a Sumo Wrestler with a giant hammer. The pros are that you have pretty good heavy attacks and enrage mode which makes your firebending more powerful. Also, you get to play as both Zuko and Aang, the Avatar. Zuko has more powerful bending techniques, but can easily be knocked down and has enrage mode so he can a lot more damage than most characters. Aang can manipulate the environment, can knock away most opponents through ranged combos which take up a bit of Chi, perform quick attacks with a powerful ending heavy attack, and Insight, which makes him move faster (it takes up a lot of Chi so don't use it unless you need to), but he can't perform powerful attacks like Zuko. Another pro is that whenever you're in Enrage mode, all of your attacks are boosted in power unlike most video games, where only your basic melee attacks are boosted. Another con that I forgot to add is that your powerful bending moves such as fire blasts, fire bombs, air blasts, hurricane, air vortex (which allows you to pick up most objects), and any other ranged attacks are limited to the amount of chi you have. Overall, this game is pretty good, but it kind of sucks a bit.
