Hey, I got The Bigs 1 for Wii back in 2006 and had no interest in baseball what so ever. Now because of that game I am really into baseball and watch every game of my home team. I was looking so forward to this game and got it today about an hour ago. I already want to sell it. It's ridiculously hard and even on easy on "become a legend mode". They never explained the controls real well and the control have changed a lot from the first. I was so disappointed in the pitching and hitting. I can't still figure out some controls even though they have been explained to me multiple times. The batters wheel is a stupid and difficult addition to the wii's play for the game. I prefer the original batting on the first one where it basically automatically connected where on this one you almost have to guess where it's going to go in a little spot especially for power swings. I love the Bigs 1 so much I've played it almost every week since i got it. This is just my opinion.

The Bigs 2 for the Wii is a pretty good baseball game. It looks like something out of a comic book, and everything is loud and dramatized. At first, this game was really fun, but soon stuff started to take a toll. If I played against a team with even just a decent outfielder, they would start snagging my home runs and sharp line drives WAY TOO OFTEN. It wasn't that I couldn't beat anybody, it was just annoying. This game's biggest mode is called Become a Legend. Basically you start with an old washed up player and start building up his stats and legacy. This mode sucked because when you first start playing, you can't hit or field a ball for ****. After a while you'll start getting good, but it takes too long. Also, when you get into the MLB, your objectives start to become ridiculous, and you'll have to sometimes play games over and over because you messed up on one at-bat, even on the lowest difficulty. The Bigs 2 also has Season mode, but I don't recommend that either. Just playing games with your friends is fun, but I think they tried too hard with this one. So unless you are a big baseball fan (like me), I wouldn't pick up this game.

The Bigs 2 is one of the best games out there. If you like the Bigs 1 you will be sure to love the second of the series. I think the players are more specific, first of all. You can customize about everything with your created players. Also, there is a greater challenge in play. It is a step up from the bigs one. Even though these people are saying that the controls are bad and the graphics are bad, i think they are great. The controls are different than the first game, yes. The controls are hard... no. And there is a way to run. If you take time to listen to the directions it tells you that if you mash the A button you go faster. You just have to adjust. I think the become a legend mode is great and i love the aspect of trading. The season is also a great opportunity if you like a certain team. Definite must have.

For a wii game this is Great! Graphics actually try to be real people and the challenge is something a little fresh in sports games. 2K9 is major failure so if your looking for a baseball wii game this is your thing. All the rosters are updated. Season mode could use some work, but it's definitely not the worst.RATINGSGraphics; 10/10challenge; 9/10controls; 8.5/10sound; 9/10stats; 10/10Those are the main things that i look for in a sports game. Home run pinball is addicting.Like i said before career mode has VERY hard mini-games. The controls could be a little better, but it's still nothing to get all worked up about. Finally we come to the graphics. Most wii games have graphics that look like crap. This one doesn't. The animations and jerseys are right on, and the turbo/bigblast is greatBUY THIS GAME!!!

I have had it since 7/25 and it has pleased me. I prefer using the nunchuk wiimote combo because you can aim where you want your hit the ball to. Also, some players have powerups, for example, if you brought Papelbon into the game to be a relief pitcher or closer you would automatically get 25,000 big play points. Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz both have no - doubter home run as their powerup. I would appreciate it more if it had wi-fi so I could play against other people but I still enjoy it. I highly reccomend it. It has no language or anything just the violence from charging the catcher. It is only E-10 and one of the best things is that bin become a legend mode you start off in a mexican league and if you don't make it to the post season you go to play in a japan league. That is it. Welcome to the BIGS.

Camera Angle: Very easy to get used to 10/10 Controls: Very easy to understand 10/10 Interface: Awesome10/10 Statistics: Very accurate 10/10 Challenge: Kind of hard 8/10 Graphics: Good for a Wii game, detailing on players body's is very good 9/10 Sound: Very good songs such as "Boom" by POD or "Indestructable" by disturbed 10/10 Team/Player Variety: It has all the teams and most players except for middle reilevers 9/10 I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good baseball game for the Nintendo Wii. The reason i only gave it a 9/10 is that it it sort or difficult. I would also like to add that there are many different mini games. Such as home run pinball which is very fun. Another thing is that there are bonus's in the game called "Big Heat" and "Big Blast" which are very fun to use!

I did not enjoy this game, I think that the graphics should be a little better than the normal Wii games and the controls are the worst you can't run anymore that made me so disappointed. While I was playing I remembered that when I was hold the wii remote still the player jumped for nothing and I thought to my self is it the game's fault or the wii remote's and then I switched my controller and still did the same thing. It was just hard to pitch the ball, you had to use the control pad to chose the pitch then hold the wii remote in back of you then when you are finished flick it in front of you then you pitched the ball and that mad me mad when it those not read it so I had to reset my stance and sometimes it throws the ball randomly. So I really do not recommend anybody getting this game.
Rated 8 out of 10 by jajajajaja this is a good game
here you have an arcade game mixed with a baseball game. why i say that is because there is za big blast feature where any contact made will hit the scoreboard, foul pole, etc. another thing is big slam. same thing just a grand slam. thene there is big heat. you just throw the ball very fast. there is a mode called home run pinball. that has some interest but overall it is not very good. what you do is you choose your player. then you hit the ball at things in 4 different cities. a downside is there are only 3 starting pitchers for each team. then only the best players are there. there is a become a legend mode where you strive to become the best there ever was. there are also old time teams and stadiums. this is not a must have game but it has hours of interest!

This game is great for all ages. The graphics aren't the best but it's still an awesome game. It's my favorite video game but I'm obsessed with baseball. It's pretty hard for rookies but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun and easy. I'm super good at it but I don't know about others.
