Product Details:

Originally an arcade game created by legendary designer Eugene Jarvis (Defender, Robotron: 2084, and Cruis'n series), Target: Terror puts you in the place of an elite anti-terrorist agent who is charged with protecting the U.S. from all terrorist activities. With a full scale assault spanning the entire U.S., this is your chance to show terrorists who is in charge. Eliminate the seemingly endless waves of enemies with an assortment of high-tech weapons you have in your arsenal. Utilizing the motion sensing controls of the Wii Remote, there is a seamless transition of the arcade's light gun to the Wii. The arcade experience is enhanced when used with the Wii Zapper peripheral to provide total immersion in the game by replicating both the arcade light-gun as well as the elite, tactical weapons used by that anti-terrorist agent.

  • Full support for the Wii Zapper peripheral, which provides a superior control scheme to the regular remote plus it gives the player the full arcade experience.
  • Enjoy the fun of the arcade in your living room with a full, direct port of the arcade smash hit.
  • Unlockable mini-games add a humorous addition to the game as they creatively interpret many classic games.
    1. Rated 2 out of 5 by from 3 words, I hate it This game was hard. I liked it at first, then it went from high to low.(How much I liked the game.)I got very frustrated when I got to the last level, because i had 3 credits left. Thats when I almost beat the game. Don't buy it. It sucks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the????? Ok, i have no idea why this game had an 8.0 rating. This has to be the worst game ever developed on the Wii. The cross hair lag is AWEFUL. There is no way to calibrate the cross hair so depending on how you have your tv and sensor bar up it could be about 2 to 3 inches off. Also, you shoot and the shot occurs on screen about a 1/2 or whole second after you hit the trigger. I have no clue why they even put this game out and if you ask me it a total wast of money, and if it didn't already waste my money, i wouldn't pay a dollar for it. Ghost squad had a lower rating and i can't put that game up, heck, my wife even loves playing it. Ghost Squad is awesom and this game, Target Terror, is absolutely worthless. Whatever you do please don't buy it and i think the makers should take it off the shelf and go back to the drawing board. there is a lot of potential these types of game and A LOT more work should have been put into this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blood and guts Anyone remember arcade shooter 'Area 51'? This is the Wii version. I am a Ghost Squad fanatic, having maxed out weapons and rank. This game will entertain adult Ghost Squad fans (see headline). Pros: The blood and guts, the screaming terrorists get to be comical after a while. The primary weapon is a pistol with short term upgrades to machine gun, flame-thrower, rpg and a few others. Aside from the primary mission there a lot of mini-games that you unlock by blowing up lots of stuff. Oh the headline should read 'Blood and guts, blow up lots of stuff!'. You can kill bad guys by blowing up perfectly placed fuel drums and other things that don't react well to bullets! Cons: You can't alter control configurations which hinders the Zapper. To reload you do have to shoot off screen. No saving profiles, like Ghost Squad. I do highly recommend getting a Perfect Shot for this game; the pistol design works great for this game along with House of Dead 2 & 3.
