Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity
SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER!
Listen up people this game was one of the worst games i have ever played. The graphics were okay i guess but the sound was the worst part. The sound was so awful that i had to turn up my Tv almost all the way to hear what the characters were saying. The challenge was to easy because once you get in front of the computer you like stay in front the whole time. The controls was just like CRAZY! every time you turn your board with the Wii remote it barely turns at all and makes it very difficult. If you are a sonic fan or a racing fan i would not recommend this game at ALL. The track variety wasnt much there were only like 7 tracks in all. BUT in the game the boards looked cool but there wasnt much cutomminzing to your board. And the really dissampoment was the spaecial moves in the game. Because in the game tails and knuckles have the same special i mean come on. My sussgestion to you people dont buy this game or any other of these games save your money and buy other sonic games.
every thing's great
the game has a lot of controls.the first sonic riders also let you make your own tricks (which is different on this game) but otherwise this is a great game. graphics is cool, story mode is short...which is where the grand prix and the missions comes in.i love it
the most broken game game i've seen
the controls are unfinished, the sound is good but could be better, the storyline is impossible to beat by the time you reach the 3rd stage no matter what kind of controller you use (refer to the "broken" controls for a reason why) and if this game supports the gamecube controller, why can't the classic controler work as well? the characters use hoverboards. isn't that like sonic drift, where the characters use vechicals (slow ones) instead of the normal runing element (the speed-how fast sonic goes) that made the original genesis games really good. i do not recommend this game to anyone, and i hope sega discontinues the sonic riders spinoff series. Btw, if you want to answer the question that was in my sonic rivals review (Which was: Do you think Knuckles is a friend, or a foe of sonic the hedgehog) please do not leave a comment here. either post a comment on my sonic rivals review, or write a review for it to answer this trivia question.
I did not like this at all.
There is no skill required to complete this game. On top of that, the twitchy controls are kind of annoying. The best part is the graphics. The graphics have absolutely no improvement over Sonic Riders I. The music is barely audible and it feels like the same track is playing over and over again. The tricks have almost no difference, no mater what character you choose. The only tricks are used through up, down, left, and right.. It would be cool if you could enter a certain combination of flips to perform some sort of super trick. The tracks are almost completely similar, just with different textures. There are no customization options for vehicles. There isn't even a lot of variety to the vehicles. There are only types of vehicles with the same type of ability and control. In conclusion, it made me want to shoot myself in the palms of my hands, so I could never pick up a Wii Remote ever again. I give it 2/10. Better luck next time.
A game that deserves to be called a rareity
Now when I first bought Sonic Riders I was beginning to think "Oh no a another Sonic R with Air Boards" and when I watched the trailers yeah, I'll admit I got hype but, was still far from impressed that all changed when I bought it for the GameCube OMG! it was one of the funniest Sonic games I have ever played my favorite thing in all of the whole game was the Turbulence system now that rocked hard! And to this day my cousins and I still play it with no boredom in sight now, that I've recieved word of a sequel coming out and from the trailers I've seen this game is surely going to rock as hard as the first new gravity control system, and a not too boring storyline (hopefully), new characters, and even better music. This is truly a must have for Sonic and or racing fan. Don't worry Mario Kart Wii you are not alone. "Let's blast through with Sonic Speed!"
the people who hate this game are bad at it
this game is really fun i am not saying its better than the first one which its not but play it its challenging not hard the controlles are great the graphics are good the game ply is phononemel [i cant speel that but you know what i mean] if this game is to challenging than get the ps2 version i own both but i like this one BETTER byyyyyyyyyyyyyyye
This game is pretty good! Some bad things are to little stages, to little characters and short story. This game isnt to bad though. I like playing multiplayer and earning rings so i can buy gear in the shop. I would reccomend this product to anyone who likes fast paced raing games and has very good control.
A refreshing high-speed game meant for all.
I found that this game was exactly what I needed when I was desperate for a new fast-paced game. I've played several Sonic games that didn't fulfill my need for speed and I found this game quite refreshing. I was hesitant at first due to the bad ratings, but now that I've played it I don't think it deserves such bad reviews. This game is excellent for new and old gamers, and while tricks may not need much skill I find the tracks and opponents quite difficult. The multi-player mode is tons of fun and the music is FANTASTIC. If it isn't challenging enough turning off the hints can add a bit more difficulty. Overall I LOVED the game and again don't think its deserves such terrible reviews.
worth all the money you have
it`s a truth this sonic game is worth every money you have,i you like it buy it.
I enjoyed the first Riders game, so I thought to pick up this one, and I sure didn't regret it. The Wii controls were confusing, so I happily switched over to the GameCube controller, which made it then easy. The music is really good, the tracks are fun, and the new gravity mechanics were cool. The story, like these type of games have, was lame, though. The story mode was short, but the Free Race and Grand Prix modes were very fun. Easy game once you figure out the controls, and be sure to use a GameCube controller! I'd definitely recommend this to those who enjoy racing and party games, but it is still fun to play alone. Even though it's years old, I still play it and really love it.
