I could not wait for this game to come out at first, sounded cool to be able to ski and shoot things. Boy was I WRONG! This game stinks, the controls do not work right, you can not get going and the shooting is way off as well and no it is not just me, my daughter and her boyfriend and my husband all tried it as well and they have the same opinion, I used it both with and without the balance board...Nintendo kept changing the release date and now I know why, this game is not worth the money. Nintendo dropped the ball on this one and it's sad. Maybe if they fix the way the controls react it would be fun, but all I got was frustrated. It is also confusing to understand how they want you to use the controlers, I tried every way and my girl still didn't get any speed going, she walked up the hills and my arms was going 90 miles a hour..So please dont waste your money on this game..

I am a cross country skier so I got this game and I am very happy with it. At first this game is going to be very challenging because you have to upgrade your character during the career. Also you need to develop a strategy on how to use all your power and stamina which takes a while to figure out. If you work it right though, you can start winning races near the end of your first junior cup. The shooting can be difficult, but you need to hold your breath before trying to line up a shot, and then it is a lot easier. If you are having issues with the game then you need to remember to upgrade yourself before each race, and don't overexert yourself. Overall this is a great game that I have had no issues with. I have found the controls to be responsive, and if you time it right when your skier is about to pole, it is very easy to get going.
