This game was okay. I have 3 problems with this game. First being the controls. They were so unresponsive. I would fail some the challenges because of them. Second being the lack of online play. I can't believe that they put it in the ds version of the game but not the wii version. The multiplayer it does have can be fun with friends but if there not around then you can't play (if only there was online play). My third being the graphics. On the ds version of the game it really pushed the ds graphics. On the wii it looks like they barely tried. Everything is so bland and the cars at the elementary part looked like they would it this was a ps1 game. The positives are the long and addicting career mode. It was pretty fun but after I beat I had nothing to do cause there's no online play. The hall of meat is very fun, and best trick was too. I can't honestly recommend this game but if you do buy it you might enjoy it till your done with the career mode then there's nothing else to do.

This game was way much more than I expected out of it and I expected a lot out of it. The balance board is favorite way to play it was really easy for me to get used to. The challenge sometimes got too hard for me but it was a good challenge. It was pretty long, it probably would've been longer if I didn't play it 3 hours everyday. The character customization is good, but it has less sponsors than the first skate. There is plenty of pros. I really liked the graphics. The Hall of Meat multiplayer is really fun. The songs weren't that good, so I turned them off. I think if you finish the game 100% the city will be fixed. You still can't get off of your board, but I didn't really care. You get sponsored at least 40% into the game. The places are really fun( Francisco Freakour replaces EXPN.) But the only thing that really annoyed me was that if you used the balance board it has to re-calibrate like every 10 minutes. Overall I really liked this much better than the original Skate.

This game is the best skate boarding game ever made its way better then the first one. San Vanolana is destroyed and you get to skate every spot but most spots are completely new you can't get a better game than this. The camera is the same as the first which was the best ever cause you watch the skateboard not the whole guy if you don't really know if your going to like it trust me you wil fall in love with this game. This version of skate is a lot easier especially with the balance board easy to get the hang of but hard to master. The sound is good because your guy doesn't talk the camera man does and that's good because that way you don't have to pick a voice for your guy and the sound is good because you can actually hear your skate board its not to loud like in tony hawk and sounds weird. The one thing a love about this game is the sponsors the sponsors are the one thing that makes this game a 10.

I have owned this game for about a year now I i love it. I think the graphics are great but I think they could have added more characters. I would rate this about a 8.00 because it's good but not amazing. I also think they could have added the oppertuniy to build your own park. They also could have added more sponsors and more boards. This game imperticulur was very frustrating at times. When I could land specific tricks and specific criterias. Also, at times it can be confusing for some people. The whole story mode was actully pretty long. There is about 8 or 10 levels in the game. And over 20,000 good skate spots. I also think they could have made the game so there would people roming around and cars driving around. It's always fun to run into people and ollie over cars. Over all, the game is great but it would be amazing with these minor adjustments.

This game is good. It isn't perfect though, and actually can be very frustrating at times. But for the most part it is a very good game. It has an entire story mode. It has a pretty long leangth and can get challenging at times. But all aside, the story mode is fun to play through. You can just free skate if you'd like, but in the story mode you actually can just do that if you like. One thing I love about this game is the Wii Balance Board support. Using the Balance Board is a blast, yet challenging. I can't imagine anyone playing through the entire story mode with just the Balance Board. But the option to use it is fun and works. It lets you take the Balance Board out of the dusty closet and finally use it again. Anyways, the graphics for the game are great. Still no XBox 360 material, but very good for the Wii. Lastly, the game also features a party and media mode. The party mode is where you can grab your friends and so who is the best skater by doing a couple of fun challenges. The media mode is where you can view replays and pictures you've saved from Free Skate and the Story mode. Overall, this is a great game. Buy it now!

in skate it there was a small amount of things. I think they put small effort into this. there was less room to skate around. there was a small amuont of clothes for changing your your character. the story line was ok but most things were not. there was no cars no people or no no skate zones.every thing had to be so straight.when your done with a goal and feel happy you have to do another.maby there is a way but there is no way to change your character as you play.every thing gets harder when your in story mode. this is a problem with all skate games they dont have 2 player freeskate.back to skate it. Definitely a small space ,you can skate someplace for a minute and you can memorize the whole place. i was so mad when i got home to see this game was a waste of my money. I did not get skate 2 yet but i hope its not a rip off.

For a really long time now I have been wishing for a skateboard game to be released on the wii. I mean I know there are some already but I heard some bad reviews for 'em. I was gonna try Tony Hawk's Proving Ground for Wii but I tried it on Playstation instead. It really sucked. I have been following the news about this game... I looked at videos and interviews... so far so good. Especially with the fact that this game will be compatible with the Wii Balance Board. Yeah I may plan to get the balance board but I'm not entirely sure yet. Anyway I plan to purchase this game especially since it's a spin-off from "Skate" for the PS3 and XBox 360. Those were awsome. Much more reallistic than the Tony Hawk series. I'm looking for reallistic gaming not fairy tale. So hopefully it will be a best seller... let's just hope.:)

Ok, so all the reviews i read said that this game is okay or bad. I was at gamestop and of course they didnt have it so i had to wait till the next shipment of it. I wondered if it would be worth the wait, I got it today and let me say YES! it was! Now yah there are some flaws, but they aren't major that i wouldn't want to play it over and over and over. I am addicted and i have to wait till my brother gets done playing it so, i thought I'm going to put all the negative reviews to rest. I used the wii balance board yet because gamestop didn't have it in stock, so i have only used the remote and nun-chuck controls and i think they work smoothly, but it is hard to do a manuel after a trick. The only thing i don't like about the presentation is that every time you fall you have to go through a whole waiting thing and sometimes the hall of meat, which gets annoying along with your camera dude talking up a storm when he only really knows ten sentences. Overall the graphics are good, the clothing selection is good, and the challenge is amazing i really like the option to kill it or own it gives you a variety. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has liked skating games, is a skater, or wants a challenge.

Skate it is a really fun game to play on the Wii. I just wish you could use the Wii Classic controller so it would have been a piece of cake to do tricks, but instead you either have to use the Wii remote, the nunchuck, or the Wii balance board. I just play with the Wii remote because I,m use to playing it with it. Another thing I wish Skate it for the Wii had would be Wi-Fi. You can only play Wi-Fi on the DS version which really sucks but the rest of the game was fun. You can skate around, do some awesome tricks, and my favorite part, break your bones. Recording videos and breaking my bones are my favorite part of the game. I just enjoy falling off a high cliff and landing on my head or landing on my back or any other part that I can land on. I recommend that you get Skate it for the Wii.
