Rated 10 out of 10 by legokid101 New Kind Of Fun
This game is so much fun! If you are looking for a good game that has music then this is the game for you. It is so cool . It has lots of great songs. Rock Band is fun but Lego Rock Band is much more fun. It has great effects. You go to lots of places like a construction site, gem mine, etc to perform your songs to unlock more gigs (shows). You are able to unlock more instruments, costumes, and vehicles that get you to more places to perform. You also get to create your own character with your own hair-style, clothes, head and body. It is kind of fun playing solo but REALLY fun playing multi-player with your friends. You should get this game. There are many different levels; from Super Easy (for beginners) all the way to Expert so you won't get bored and new players won't be intimidated because of the different levels of expertise.
Rated 6 out of 10 by boredbutlovingit123 no challenge, good attempt
When lego rock band came out, people didn't take it seriously. Why? The reason is simple: rock band can not be made into lego. Now, the challenge is ridiculously easy, for they have made a level of "super easy", where you play a note every 30 seconds. the expert is like hard on rock band 2 so if any elder siblings or parents want to impress their younger siblings or kids, it won't be much of a task. On the animation however, they really out did themselves. Everything looks amazing, and especially with lego. The guitars and drums react normally, but the microphone is still the same. The sound is still up to the expectations of that set by the previous rock bands. Controls are normal, but they have brought back the old band leader control that was used in rock band, but was avoided in rock band 2. Now the song variety, is mediocre. Because they wanted to aim for a younger audience, they picked more '"kid-friendly" songs like "So What" and "Life is a highway". However, Lego Rock Band does have its share of classics such as "We Will Rock You" and "Kung-Fu Fighting" . All in all, Lego rock band has a little bit of everything for the family. I would recommend you rent this game if you have the instruments, or buy it for the not serious gamer
Rated 10 out of 10 by OutOfExile Best music game EVER
First of all, let's get to the gameplay. It's got plenty of songs and a long career to keep you playing more than any game you have ever played before! Next graphics. These are the best graphics I've ever seen on any of my 5 LEGO games I have, yet It's a Rock Band game. Sound is amazing, and for once, actually is almost an exact match to the original songs! (at least the good few I have on my iPod) Customization is a fun thing to do when you decide to take a break from tour, and you can make the awesomest characters, even from the start! You also unlock new instruments as you go so you never end up getting bored from the look of your band. Overall, 10 is more than a fair rating for the best soundtrack music game to hit stores.
Rated 2 out of 10 by Thisgamestinks This really sucks.
I just bought this game at Tallahassee mall, and it says you only need four wii remotes. that's what the freaking box said. it had a little stupid sign that all wii games have that had a little 4 over a a wii remote, however, the dumb game had it hidden in the fine print "Requires a drum, microphone, or guitar controller to play." In the smallest lettering you've ever seen. Even my dad could hardly read it. I was crying because I payed about twice my allowance for that game and my mom wouldn't let me return it. Anyone who's thinking about buying this, you probably should not unless you have the old rock band controllers, because even if the game is twenty dollars, or $18.00 used, with the stuff it's about $150.
Rated 0 out of 10 by Skelton Man this is kind of stupid
I have to agree with the guy on top of me because this game is a waist of money. Reason why is because it has like the lamest songs i have ever heard of and the old type of songs such as the ones from the 80's. Why don't they play the new and pretty good songs that we listen to almost everyday. I mean we have probobly heard these songs like final countdown all the time from the radio or commercials on tv. This might be a dumb question to ask but do we need the rock band guitar and drums and mic for this because i am definetley not paying for those things for a dumb game like this. Anybody who buys this game will probobly return as soon as they bring it home and play it.

Last Christmas I got the Rock Band 2 bundle with all of the instruments and Lego Rock Band. Lego Rock Band is my favorite of the two. Outside of the inability to play download songs and the somewhat small track list, this game is perfect. The Story mode's "Power Challenges" are awesome, and the cutscenes are hilarious! The songs are amazing too. I've always wanted to play "Ghostbusters" in a Rock Band game, but it isn't on the Rock Band 2 track list. It is on Lego Rock Band's though. Same goes for other amazing songs like "Kung Fu Fighting" and "You Give Love a Bad Name". This is a must have if you like Rock Band games!
Rated 10 out of 10 by AlwaysSinging I love this game!
This game is the best! My sister and I got Guitar Hero Aerosmith before this and it was bad. We didn't know any of the songs and when the notes weren't in rhythm with the music. When we got Lego Rock Band we were shocked and amazed! My brother joined our 'band' and we've played through 3 story modes!! This game is fun for 1 player, 2 players, 3 players, and 4 players! This game is amazing and I strongly advise getting it/

Lego Rock Band is the same thing as regular rock band, but with a new way to play on tour, and a new way to create a character. I think the songs are AWSOME, exept for some hear and there. Also, you get to hire your own crew, and design your office! You even get to have a band logo! So, if you want a kid rocker game, than consider this. Otherwise, check out my review of Rock band 2. Game on.
Rated 8 out of 10 by nionu21 Suddenly LEGOS appeared!
If there's one series that really rakes up cash, that's the Lego video game series. And what's better to add to that series. Lego Rock Band of course! This is the Rock Band world replaced by Lego. Fans of Rock Band will enjoy story mode, with the creative plots for each level, and Legos fans will feel right at home with Lego minifigures jamming out on guitars. It's fun for the whole family!

This game looks horrid. The songs are bad the gameplay looks boring. Do you think they fall into pieces when you fail a song? With caracter creation you'll get like 5 heads to choose from. This looks like a joke. If this is designed for kids how are they going to get the basic guitar functions down? This game looks like a waste of money.
