Awesome and Fun!
I love this Game! I play on Expert on All Instruments. This Game has some great songs like: Beast And The Harlot by Avenged Sevenfold, Lasso by Phoenix, and Rainbow In The Dark by Dio. Calibration is hard to do though, but it is not insanely hard so that is why i put 10/10! I have also Gold Starred I Can See For Miles, 25 Or 6 To 4, Lasso, Humanoid, and MANY Others, DLC is AWESOME!!! Look ME up on the Leaderboards Name: Ardokal

Great game, but......
...some weird stuff happens randomly. Not that this stuff is bad, it's just kinda one of those things that annoy you. But one really funny thing happened to me. I was playing keyboard, and the singer backed into me, went through me, then went back out. The game itself is pretty awesome. I don't like the profile concept, but I think that replacing normal loading screens before songs with little CGI cutscenes is a clever. However, there is a lack of the feeling of progression. You find it in learning the instruments, but not in becoming the numero uno (number one) band in the world. I also dislike two other things: 1) The music store is a pain with all the catorgization (misspelled?). You have to go through alot to get to a song you want. I liked the RB2 music store better, because there I could find songs that I like that I didn't know were for downlaod, but in RB3 I can't. At least, not easily. 2) Learn a song/insterment. I like that it takes the song into seperate parts, but you have to get it 100% before you can move on to the next part. Oh yeah, one more thing. The Wii was treated worse than the PS3 and X360, so you can't import songs from most of the RB games like you can with the others. The on-disc songs are wide in varitey (spelling?) and good songs. From Bohemian Raphsody to In the Meantime to Before I Forget, Harmonix did a great job at choosing songs. The goals are great. Some are super easy (like naming your band), and others are super hard (like gold star a song on expert guitar), goals make the game more interesting. Goals are what get you fans, fans are what get you to a new rank, ranks are what get you further in the game. Road challanges are when you play setlists (custom or random) to complete tasks to earn spades, which are what you need to beat the road challenge. One example is streakmania, where you need to get the target streak to do well. That's the game, now here's the keyboard. Standard keys are like guitar and bass, with green, red, yellow, blue and orange, played from the blue C to the green G. You can play guitar and bass on the keyboard. The overdrive button and the touch strip (which acts as the whammy bar) to me are inconviently place, at the far left side. Now to the innovative Pro mode. Pro is, in a word, AWESOME! Shifting confuses you, but that's about it. Pro can be super easy or super hard, just like goals.I don't like how sometimes it give you 1 second to figure out a 3 or 4 button chord, but with practice, it becomes easy. I believe that Rock Band 3 is trying to save a somewhat-dying genre, as proven by Viacom letting go of Harmonix. I believe that Rock Band 3 will save the music genre, and that someday, even in 40 to 50 years, Rock Band 3 will be considered as on of the greatest games of all time, despite all of it's glitches and other problems. Rock Band 3 is the game that everyone has been waiting on.
