Reload: Target Down
Fun target shooting game
This game basically is a modern version of Duck Hunt but instead of using a light gun, it uses the Wiimote or Mouse if on PC (I don't really see the point of buying this for PC, what makes it fun is pointing the Wiimote like its a gun and feeling the feedback). There are all types of guns; pistols, revolvers, bolt action, semi auto rifles, shotguns, AK-47, M16, MP5, and mini guns. In addition to the 'target' shooting sections, there are also on rail segments of moving through a house, gas station ect. Finally there is also 2 sections where you get to shoot a mini-gun (different types each time) off of an M998 HMMWV. These sections are the best part of the game. The target shooting sections are fun too, but can get tedious. There is also a tin can shooting section many users should be able to relate to, and a simon says shooting game. I recommend this game to anybody who enjoys guns or target shooting. Oh and a you can use a grenade launcher and an AA-12! Which is awesome.
Target Shooter for the Outdoorsman
As a follower of Mastif and Remington's partnership some really great target shooting games have been produced. This one, with its rich supply of weaapons, is a must have. Initially you have to unlock the ranges by going through target drills. Embassy clearing or Apartment clearing really insures your shots are accurate and only your tagets are cleared. A true everyone shooter no blood or gore, but the timers and pop up target really get the adrenaline going. Hardcore gamers could see a real increase in their shooting skills by completing this game. Casual Like myself can use it as an alternative to the shooting range. Plus at 20 bucks it is close in price to one box of ammo. The controls are easy. Point and shoot.
Fun for everyone!
Finally the Wii is going the direction they should have from day one. Realistic shooting has always needed a console to give us the gun fun we've only experienced at the arcade. There is no story line here, just a well made training game. If you've longed for some shooting fun with plenty challenge and without all the gore, this is it.
There are plenty of diverse levels. From indoor ranges, to shoot houses, mounted machine guns, to outdoor run and guns. The weapons are good, though there could be more in each type. You start with the pistol, and then the shotgun, followed by the rifle, heavy machine gun, and finally sniper rifle. You have to run through in career mode to unlock all the levels, but it's not a hard thing to do. You also can run drills multiple times as there are bonuses for better rankings, medals, and achievements on each level. In the multi-player mode up to four people can play at the same time(verses), or you can go one at a time(hot seat).
The game allows for multiple controller type set ups so what ever your gun type it will work. I used the Wii zapper but anything will work for this game. This game is not a graphic knock out but it is really good for the Wii. The sound is also not mouth watering by any means, but it is good.
This game is a steal for the price.
Good game if you like guns
Totally different from other FPS's. Not so much about a shooting at an enemy as doing lots of training drills on a range or against targets. Sound rocks, gun graphics are great. Most levels are pretty fun, I really liked the Shoothouse and the sniper training. Totally worth the $19.99.
Great game out of the box
Great game. It is exactly what I was looking for. Targets pop up and you shoot them. Plain and simple. Fun fun fun. Also has a variety of controller configurations
Great Shooting Game
Reload: Target Down is one of the most enjoyable shooting games that I have owned for any system. You dont shoot at people but at targets that help you work on your accurcy. There are many guns throught each level. The only reason that i didnt give this game a ten was because i finshed in in like a day. It isnt challenging but it is a really fun game. The graphics arent the best that ive ever seen but there are good for a game that is set up like this one is. Bottom line is that this game is worth buying.
I really liked the game. Graphics are great and the game was fun too play.
wish they were more like this
the only problems i have had is the rifle shoot house when you shoot at some targets it make a ricochet sound and doesn't count and on the shot gun hostage range you won't be shooting nowhere near a hostage it'll say you hit it
I love the game
I got this game lastnite and played it when i got home. I got so in to the game that when i stoped it was 4 AM in the morning. lol i would so by this for anyone who is in to a grate shooting game.
I Was Very Suprised!
When I bought this game I thought it was going to be one of those kinds of shooters that had just enough excitement in them to keep the player from dieing of boredom. But when I played it I realized that this was going to be a pretty good game. I beat the game, and there were even some challenging parts to it, and I was actually glad I bought it.The gameplay flows, the graphics are well done, and the sound didn't lag a bit. Great game for anyone who likes target practicing or shooters that are fast paced.
