Rated 6 out of 10 by GamerMaiden Good, but not worth the 50$
Personally, I thought this game was decent. Though it has amazing graphics, the gameplay is rather repetitive and tedious. I love the animation and the sound. Many of the pokemons voices made me laugh. They had very good sound effects and The zones are all very unique and fun to go through. But this game does not have lasting appeal, you can beat it in about 7-8 hours, but the tedious gameplay will probably have you playing for a little bit then putting it away for awhile. Most of the gameplay is skill games, (chasing pokemon, quick battles, the occasional quiz or podium hop) and gathering things for pokemon. The object of the game is basically to beat all attractions (not a spoiler you find this out in the tutorial) and they are basically mini games involving shaking the wii remote at the correct time, or fast enough, so on. Thats the basic gameplay of the game, nothing gets more difficult than that. I would say its a great game, but absolutely not worth the 50$ If you really want it, I would wait for the price to drop because you will soon find its not worth the 50$

PokePark is a game where Pikachu is the main character. The game opens with Pikachu, Charmander, Piplup, and Chikorita playing with each other. Mew shows up and makes this magical hole appear. The four friends peer into the hole, then one of them falls in! The other three jump after their friend and land in different places in the PokePark. You play as Pikachu and explore the PokePark looking to reunite with your friends. There are lots of Attractions to play throughout the game and Pikachu must make many friends with other Pokemon to save the PokePark! This game is pretty good for new or younger Pokemon Trainers. It's not like the other generations of Pokemon games, but it's a good game nonetheless. It's pretty easy to beat, but it can get boring after a while.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Gamer322 Pikachu knows fun!
This game actually suprised me the 1st time I saw it. It was a 3D platformer Pokemon game. Pikachu is my favorite pokemon without a doubt, and that makes the game better for me. You can only control Pikachu through the adventure. The only other time you can play as other Pokemon is when you play the minigames. The gameplay is half platforming, and half minigames. The platforming sections is where you control Pikachu to continue your adventure, and befriend Pokemon. You befriend Pokemon by beating them in skill games, of doing certain objectives. The games are: Hide and seek, battle, and catch. Once you befriend a Pokemon, they will be able to play in the minigames. This section is fun to play. You can roam around all you want. The minigames are fun little challenges you use to advance on your adventure. The minigames are fun and entertaining to play, but they are pretty short. The music will appeal more to little kids, but still have a nice tune to it. The graphics are pretty for the Wii, and have a good look to it. There are some Pixilations there, but still great. The only downside is that the game will appeal more to little kids with the storyline, befriending, and music, but still fun for all ages. A good buy, or a solid rent!
Rated 8 out of 10 by SEALEDKYUUBI Best Pokemon Game for the Wii
Well to begin with I got this game about a week ago and I have already beat it (it was easy). That said I am nowhere near done with it. Anyway, in the basic story plot your playing as Pikachu in a 3-D platform world known as the Pokepark. Basically Pikachu is sent there by mew to collect fragment like pieces and restore peace to the world. This game is tons of fun and has lots of mini-games that will keep you entertained for hours. It is also byfar the best Pokemon game for the Wii and the fact that its 3-D only makes the game even cooler! Graphics are good for the wii aswell. That said, I do have a few complaints about this game. First off, the camera gets very funky at times...which can make some skill challenges difficult. Also, there is no multiplayer in this game. Which is sad, cause with all these awesome mini games it would have made an excellent multiplayer! Other than that, this is a great game and its fun to play as Pikachu and befriend 198 different pokemon from all across the regions. This game is kid-friendly however anyone can enjoy it if they have some imagination. This is a good one to pick up if your a hardcore pokemon fan, or if you just want to have a good time playing minigames this game is for you! 8/10

PokePark appeals to the kid in you... This is a more wholesome addition to the Pokemon series. Similar to the more good-natured selflessness shown in Pokemon Ranger games, you ARE a Pokemon and must befriend all the Pokemon in this pristine park before time runs out. It's simple enough for a child to catch on and enthralling enough for a teen or adult to play! The mini-games give lasting appeal and the dialogue and intentions are so innocent you just have to go "D'AWWWW!"... I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I hope you gift this game to your relatives or even yourself. It is an excellent game for parties, children who are familiar with the Wii, or for when you're just alone and bored. Making friends CAN save the world!
Rated 8 out of 10 by jaegamer A lot better than expected
I bought this game because I lost rock-paper-scissors, and I haven't regretted losing since. This game's clear targeted demographic is kids, but if you have a love for pokemon and particularly the anime and/or you've always wondered what the life of a pokemon is like, get this game. It may be easy but it does have fun attractions and amazing graphics for its time.
Rated 8 out of 10 by jdjzt perfect game for the young Pokemon fan
My 8 year old, MEGA Pokemon fan son LOVES this game. Its all he wanted for Christmas. He has been his #1 game of choice for the past 2 months since he got it. He found it very easy to figure out on his own with minimal help from me for reading dialogue. He loved it so much my sister had to get my Niece the same game a week later. Even my youngest (6) and my oldest son (11) love it and play it often. I like the cute voices of the Pokemon and the strategy of game play. This game is a must have for any young Pokemon fan.
Rated 6 out of 10 by schoffend Too expensive for a pokemon game
I've played pokemon channel, which was cute, funny, and interesting. I don't have this new pokepark game, but I can tell already it will be similar to pokemon channel. $50 is way too much. This game should be selling at no more than $30 for new. My advice is to wait a little longer until the prices go down to an actual reasonable level. Even better advice: Go play pokemon channel(gamecube game) if you haven't already. If you love it, then pokepark is for you. If you don't, you're wasting your money getting pokepark.
Rated 2 out of 10 by LunaDarkheart Boring and Dull!
I bought this game thinking it would be a cool battling game with you playing as the pokemon.
I was so disappointed by it!
It's just you as pikachu getting friends at pokepark, playing games.
Though a little kid might this alot.
For a true battler and fan of the pokemon series, this is a let down! It wasn't worth what I paid for it in my book.
The graphics were good and so was the sound.
I just wish it had been more fun for me.
