Product Details:

No More Heroes takes place in the city of Santa Destroy, and you are free to explore the town to your liking, taking on missions large and small to collect money and purchase new weapons as you work up towards the 10 main killing contracts. Gameplay is all about using your Beam Katana (via Wii remote) to defeat enemies.

  • Hack and Smash Your Way Through Santa Destroy, California: Unleash a lethal combination of sword slashes and wrestling moves in this fast paced third-person action game. Easy to learn, but challenging to master.
  • Roam a Sand Box Universe in Full 3D: Immerse yourself in a modern, highly stylized world. Roam the city on foot or slide around corners on your speed bike.
  • An Action Experience Unlike Any Other on Wii: Bring the pain and let your plasma-beam katana do the talking. You control the action with two Wii remote sensitive attack stances and an arsenal of close combat wrestling moves.
  • Interactive Special Attacks and Over-The-Top Finishing Moves: Complete special moves by matching your Wii remote's movements to the cues on screen. The crazier you finish off your opponent, the more cash you'll earn for your efforts.
  • Side Missions and Mini-Games: Complete side jobs for extra cash or just play them for fun. Features games like Pizza Delivery, Graffiti Blaster and Speed Bike Racing.
  • Highly Stylized Environments and Gameplay: Features environments that are both stunning and stylish. Gameplay gives a nod to the classic arcade games of the 80's, as well as the games of tomorrow.

No More Heroes tells the story of Travis Touchdown, an anime fan who lives in the fictional town of Santa Destroy, California. After an unexpected turn of events, Travis finds himself at the bottom of an Assassins' organization. Travis will have to prove himself worthy and defeat 10 other bloodthirsty killers - all with deep stories of their own - to make his way to the top of the assassins league.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game! Although the game isn't perfect and has its issues, ((The Hub world is completely unnecessary and some of the bosses like Shinobu are sort of bland.)) it's still a very great game with creative dialogue and tons of blood. You'll see blood everywhere in this game as well as coins! :D And just to let you know, this game is NOT kid friendly so don't think this game is kiddy. Its far from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun fun game. A very fun game that I played pretty much nonstop for three days because it rarely gets old and is simply a ton of fun. The gameplay can be very exciting the character models and combat is stylish and innovative. The story is great and only adds to the fun. The best thing about the game is the boss fights that can be difficult every once and a while but is worth all the time put into them because it is just limitlesly fun. Travis Touchdown is one heck of a game character enough said.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WON'T DISSAPOINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN THOUGH THE WII HAS AWESOME GAMES THEY CAN GET A LITTLE TOO KID FRIENDLY. SO FOR THOSE OF US THAT NEED TO SEE PEOPLE SLICED IN HALF AND GALLONS OF BLOOD EVERYWHERE, WE NEED GAMES LIKE THIS. GET THIS GAME ITS SUPER FUN AND FUNNY. THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY IS THE GRAPHICS ARENT THAT GREAT BUT YOU GET USED TO THEM.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So satisfying........ Holy Schkazamoley is this game awesome!!!! There's just something so satisfying about cutting a faceless goon's head. Speaking of that, the hack-and-slash gameplay is fantastic. Unlike most Wii games, it's not a waggle to swing the sword, it's a tap of the "A" button. But finishers use waggles. But the game really shines in the pitch perfect writing. The quips that Travis Touchdown makes are really funny. The downside is the boring world you have to traverse in. But, it's still a great game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bloody, funny, and outrageous must-have. This is one of the best wii games I've ever played. No More Heroes is a unique game with a twisted sense of humor (in a good way), some insane kill scenes, and some of the most interesting characters you will see in a game. This is a definite buy for any violence and comedy loving people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game is awesome. I went to the game store and traded in a few old titles hoping to pick up Legend of Zelda TP, and I ended up a bit short. After looking around the store for something new to play I found this game, and part 2. I am usually a big fan of just about everything Ubisoft puts their name on so I decided to give it a try. This game is unlike anything you have ever seen in a game before. If you thought MadWolrd was crazy, and bloody, you haven't seen anything yet! The characters actually all have originality/ their own personalities which is good. The plot to winning the game is kinda weird, Travis Touchdown wanting to become the number 1 assassin so he can sleep with the hot UAA Agent, but at least he does what Mario and Link can't I guess... The game had great controls, (Besides for the bike's handling which I found myself often crashing into walls flying off of my bike or bouncing off cars.) aslo this game has some great mini games to help you train your character and raise up some quick cash. So far the boss battles are great! Every character you face all have their own looks, and fighting styles. Some of them can be a bit tough which is good. Anyone who wants to try something new on the Wii should def pick up this game, you won't regret it!
