this game is a perfect remake from the 1993-1994 nba jam. it has cool features such as the remix mode, boss battles, and the classic campaign mode. the only problem about this game is that when you shoot, the release is noticeably late which causes your shot to get blocked quite often. i would recommend playing this game with 2-4 players because playing by yourself can get boring at times. overall its a good basketball game. buy this before 2K.
i was on the apple app store and I saw NBA jam and I decided to try out its free version and then later I saw that they had the full version in gamestop and I went out and bought it get this game now
This game brings the best gameplay yet in the jam series! I love being the mascots! And you cant forget the legends!! This game is the best on the Wii!
I've had this game since Christmas, but really started to play it this summer. I love this game. The game play is great with the classic pro controller. It's easy to use and makes the game play really easy. I love the sound especially the "No Hoop for You" after a block. The unlockable players from the past has a decent mix of players who made NBA Jam what it was when I originally had the game on Genesis. Larry Johnson and AI make it worth is for me alone. Although I'm a true Bulls fan, I also have to admit the Golden State with Steph Curry is a great video game team. Curry is a great player in this game.
This is the best game ever
If you like crazy basketball then you will love this game. NBA Jam is the best game i have ever played. The first time i played it i bursted into laughs and i'm sure you will to. This game is a 2 on 2 b-ball game that you can do crazy dunks and awesome threes when you make three baskets in a row the ball start on fire and you make every shot. I hope you like this #1 game. Because I do:)
NO GAMECUBE CONTROLLER!!!
you can't use a gamecube controller. why in god's name would they do that? I had 4 wireless wavebird controllers ready for all my friends to play and they didn't work. Now you're telling me i have to buy 4 more WIRED terrible controllers? I wouldn't be complaining if there were wireless classic controllers but come on this is ridiculous! if mario kart, smash bros, and goldeneye support them, this can too. Getting my money back just for this reason.
the game is fun for the whole family!
the game is great and fun for the whole family and it brings back memories my dad says.boomshackalacka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AMAZING BUT REQUIRES ONLINE
I loved this game, it was amazing. The gameplay is really cool, two on two, cartoon bodies with huge heads photoshopped onto the body. The graphics are some of the best graphics on the wii, about the same as The Conduit. Expect to hear Tim Kitzow's boomshakalaka and he's heating up in every game. The lasting appeal was amazing. The game has many different modes, each extremely fun. The only thing bad about this game is that it does not support online gameplay. Online would be amazing.
NBA Jam is Back!!!
Back in the day, NBA Jam was a basketball game that was a hit in the arcades during the 90's. Since then, newer versions of the game have been made systems such as PS2, Xbox, and Gameboy Advance. None of these versions came close to how great of a game NBA Jam was back then. This version of NBA Jam is great and is a lot like the original. NBA Jam isn't like most basketball games and trust me, that's a very good thing. NBA Jam is a two on two basketball game with no fowl shots, (though there are goal tending violations) and slightly exaggerated, but amazing dunks. The gameplay of this game is amazing. Each match is fast paced and very enjoyable. The only flaw is the difficulty. Even though it can be adjusted, I found myself still winning games on Insane, which is supposedly the hardest the game can get. Sure some teams like the Orlando Magic are a little bit of a challenge, but some teams like The Toronto Raptors can be beaten by a five year old. Back on the positive side, The great thing about this game is that there are a lot of game modes. There's the Campaign mode, where you pick one team and set out to defeat about every team in the NBA. one by one. Other modes include games where you have to dunk so many times to break your opponents backboard. There are much more and the good thing is, it's multiplayer. Sure its fun to cream your least favorite team, but its ten times better to cream them with a friend, or you could verse your friend and battle it out on the multiplayer modes of the game. There are several ways to play the game. You could use the Wii mote and nunchuk, or you could use the Classic controller. I prefer the Wii mote and nunchuk because dunking by raising the wii mote and slamming it down is more satisfying than a button press. All in all, NBA Jam is a great game and captures the essence of the old school arcade jam and brings it to modern systems. I recommend this game to sports fans or fans of the original NBA Jam or really anyone who's looking for a great sports game.
Its Jam Time
NBA Jam is a terrific basketball game, escpecially for the wii. Since the wii hasn't had its success with basketball games, this one blows every other one into the dust. They don't try to ruin the experience with bad control gimmicks like nba live did and they keep it simple. The graphics are good and what they should be. The high-res photos make for a funny experience and its cool to see. Classic campaign is a very fun mode in this in which you take on all of the nba teams and some legends to beat it. It's a lot of fun and EA Canada did an amazing job on it. 10/10 with a solid NBA experience
