it seems great i cant wait but there is a few things they need to work on like reactions it would be better to put it where when the refs make calls the player would show reaction to the call.also the graphics and plays. like in the create a player it only lets you have black hair unlike 2k10 on xbox 360 and ps3. they also need to work on the dunks when it said 360 beetween the legs i was like dang! but it like dosent work.what would also be cool is to put it in to where you could practice before the game.also it would be cool to be able to go backstage at halftime and the warmups they dont have warmup shirts or pants and when they do a cool shot or move the players on the bench wont celebrate or jump up and congradulate there partners. and it would be cool to recieve the awards when you win them like at the allstar game or anything. but if 2k11 will have those changes on the wii it will be awesome

This game is really good and I would recommend it for whoever likes the greatest, #23, Michael Jordan (no, not Kobe Bryant or Lebron James.). It has one of the greatest modes I have ever played in a sports game, the JOrdan Challenge. It rocks. You get to play 10 of Michael Jordan's best played games, like the flu game and the 1991 Nba Finals. This game is really good except for one thing. I can never get a one basket unless I dunk it or lay it in. I feel like the CPU is much too hard on defense. One time I played on rookie and the CPU stole the ball 7 times and blocked it 5 times. It is so hard to shoot with the Wii Remote I almost hurled it at the screen. But then I'd have to buy a new TV and Wii remote. I still spend countless hours screaming at my TV though when my My Player misses a wide open breakaway layup. Its still fun though. It is much better on the 360 and PS3 versions.

The 2K franchise has been making the best basketball games for years, and NBA 2k11 is next in line. However dont buy this game if you think the my player mode is better, or the dunk contest is more fun because they're not. In fact there are really only 2 reasons to buy this game. 1 a more detailed story mode where teams will only trade players for team needs, so no more Lebron just for a few draft picks. 2 and most importantly the jordan mode. In this mode you play as the legend himself in some classic game like the 69 point game he had against the cavs in 1990. Once you've beaten all 10 classic games as jordan you unlock the MJ creating a legend mode, where you basiclly do a my player mode except with Micheal, and with better abillities. To me this game is good buck still needs more to become great like Mike.
Rated 1 out of 10 by Delano I do not like this game setup at all!
I think this game looks like it was made for the 64 or some old game system from fiver or more years ago. Who ever design this game did a poor job. The whole setup is really poor looking. I have to go through way too many different screens and pop ups to just be able to play a game. The controls are complicated in the menu and in the game. I am a fan of basketball games but I'm taking this game back tomorrow and buying NBA Live 2009. Yes, i'm willing to go that far back to escape this game. Creating a player on this game is SO LIMITED and that's my favorite part of basketball games. Beside playing it of course. Don't be fooled into thinking this game is so good cause of the Jordan features. It's still not worth the hassle to play this game.

NBA 2k11 is a great game forr the wii which I didn't expect. Surerly the PS3 and Xbox 360 have much better graphics and options, but this game is fun as well. I usually play My Player and The Association which are quite fun despite the poor graphics. Besides the graphics the only problems I have with this game are the online is poor and the motions you make for block/steal seem to always get confused so when I want to steal the guy attempts a block. That and in My Player mode your team sometimes goes in major shooting slumps when up double digits so the other team catches up and you have to do all the work yourself. But I love basketball and NBA games so I looked past the negatives and gave this a 10.
Rated 7 out of 10 by engnir1 REALLY disappointed.....
I have played sports games going back to my NES and Sega GENESIS days, so I'm very familiar how complex the controls can be for them. This is my first sports game for my Wii and I have been hesitant to get one since I didn't know how it was going to play with the Wii controls. I cannot play this game with the these controls!?!? I can't play D, whenever I pass it, it will get stolen or deflected, I can't rebound, and shooting is very difficult as well. I don't think it is me as I have had my Wii for about 4 years now and consider myself an above average gamer so I think I know the Wii's controls by now. But not for this game. Which really stinks because I'm a Bulls fan and Jordan fan and couldn't wait to get this and now I have to sell it. I got this game for christmas and I am ready to sell it to GameStop!! I am VERY disappointed and have put some time in trying to figure this game out, but I have reached my frustration limit, and I'm not going to waste anymore time. The graphics really aren't that spectacular either. They don't look any better than my old PS2 basketball games and I guess I was a little disappointed with that. I can say that my days of playing sports games on my Wii is over. If you read some of the other reviews, they don't sound to dis-similar to mine. I would not recommend this to anyone with a Wii.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Halo4 Best sports game this generation
First off all MJ! But besides that this is the best basketball simulation 2k has made since NBA 2k5. The game play is polished to a sheen here, just like the HD versions. You can control your player with precise movements and get your shot off. Online is phenomenal with player and team updates happening on a daily basis and it's free and not laggy. I had 2k10 on Wii but is was not as good, the difference a year makes. I salte 2k for making a great 3rd party game on Wii, something EA has not done with MADDEN.Well in closing, sometimes this looks like the HD version, that's how great the graphics are. A Wii version that can stand on it's own!
Rated 9 out of 10 by SomeDudeGabe Best Wii Game Ever
This is one of the best Wii games out. It seems as though the developers actually took their time and put work into it unlike other multi-platform games that come out for the Wii. The controls are easy and simple to learn and the game is so much fun. It updates rosters automatically just as it does on my PS3. The only bad thing about it is the sound. It kind of sounds stuffy as if it were coming out of my controller. This game can be played with the remote and nunchuck or the classic controller. Overall this game is about a 9 and it is 10x better than anything EA Sports ever put out for the Wii...GREAT BUY
Rated 10 out of 10 by TheAnswer3 Best Game Ever!!!!
This is by far the best game I have ever played (at least since Tecmo Bowl and RBI baseball for the NES). Being from Illinonis, the amount of BUlls teams offered is really amazing. I grew up watching those teams and never, ever thought I would be able to play them in a video game again. Also being a hardcore fans of Jordan shoes, this game gives me the best of both worlds. Again, never would I have imagined that something I chase in a game is something I chase in real life. Plus, the 2010-11 Bulls are pretty good in the game as far a skills compared to real life.

What are you talking about emgnir1? This is a fantastic game. Plus the controls are not hard to master. I've had the wii as long as you, and I can't understand your complaint! The basic controls are just like any other basketball game, maybe even better. And if if you have trouble with the more unusual controls like calling a play or locking on on defense, her's a tip. Go pause the game, then options, controller settings, and controller configuration. And there they are...displayed right in front of your eyes like magic!!!!!
