I agree with the other posts, Wii's play action on basketball so far, lacks the real feel of the game. Every game can't be for kids to play also. Not to say cut that part of the market out but, give me a game where I can show off my skills with the controller. Even NBA Jams was kid friendly, but it was a favorite of everyone and you needed skills to play it. Everything is so watered down/ dumbed down, just so everyone can play. The thing I love most about video games is being able to challenge others, you know test you skills. Granted with the online game play you still can do this but, it's nothing like enter the arcade, placing you quarters on the monitor; so the person playing could see them there and who put them there. Little junior high kids where always stepping up to bat against the champ. I didn't mean to get to deep on the subject but let's work toward helping Nintendo grow an adult themed market as well as the youth market. Lakers 15!, Odom MVP. wORK_

this product is a wast of your money. You want to know why well here it goes. At first when i bought this game i was sooo excited to play it. I was impressed.... only for like 1 month. This game has a glitch with a horn sound and everything freezes. I return the game and i get a new one being more cautious with this game now. I was making sure everything was clean and stuff. Again i had fun with this game for like an other 1 month. The recently a few days ago the game freezed when it was downloading the NBA today thing. I was angry and i was like im not going to waste my time returning it again and getting another one knowing that it will have the same problem. This is one of the biggest problems. But when the game was working i had a good time with it. You can create you own player and just put him on a team instead of playin My Player Mode. When you make this player in i think the roster area you can make your player make almost every 3 pointer dunk and you can be a 7 foot 6 point gaurd but thats no fun. This wii game is also only one player but you can play online.Overall this game is fun before it breaks. I am pretty sure that only the wii NBA 2k10 game has this problem.

Well first off, the graphics are worse than ever. I know you are reading this saying "well the wii has bad graphics anyways" NO. These graphics are a step down from flipping pacman. The gameplay was even worse. The controls are so complicated. "Swing the wii remote in this direction while holding the z button" and the problem with that is 1. takes way too long to learn and 2. the game messes up reading your movements about 70-80 percent of the time. 3. it takes the game about 1-1.5 seconds to respond , which is plenty enough to mess up your gameplaying. I do not have a slow tv or anything, its this terrible game. Do not get it. If it had WAY better graphics and effects, and you could play with a more simple controller, then i would give it an 8 or 9. But it gets a 2. Listen to what im saying. it sucks

Let me start off by saying this. If you only own a wii and you like basketball then this game is a must for you. Its very fun. The controls for the most part work good, though i can't get blocking down. Shooting works good and so does stealing. The interface works alright, but if you use the wii mote to point to where you want to go then you'll get annoyed. Thankfully you can you the nunchuck. The graphics are alright, but the player models look kinda of bad. But man the court looks great, with the real-time reflection and everything. The camera angles are good since there is so many options to choose from. I need to applaud the developers for putting everything into this game. Yes everything from My Player mode to Association. Yes the online leagues are there too. Everything from the Xbox and PS3 versions are in there. Wii speak is also supported which is just flat out awesome. Also if you don't like using the wii motion to shoot ect. then you can use the classic controller. I have no idea how well it works because i don't have it. So i would recommend this game if you only own a wii. If you own a Xbox, or PS3 then i would say get it for that unless you like using wii controls.

All basketball games made so far for wii have been a complete failure and letdown but NBA 2k10 has been doing rather well ever since it started making games. The graphics for mlb 2k8 and 9 had decent graphics and are the graphics that would be good enough for a good and or great basketball game to add to the wiis top sports game. NBA 08 worst basketball game ever 09 was 1 percent bettre and still far from even being a bad beacause it sucked so bad. i just hope they give us something close that they would for xbox or ps3.

In the past few year years no one would touch the wii with sports ecept for EA, but now 2ksports is going to. I hope they can dramatiscally change the quality of basketball games on Wii. NBA Live is just HORRIBLE. It looks horrible, plays horrible, and feels horrible. I hope this game brings my trust in the wii back. I wont even buy any games for the wii, but this game may be the first wii game I've bought in a year.

I liked this game with either the classic pro controller or the motion plus. It was a little hard at first to get the game play down with the motion plus, but once I did I found the game to be really fun. The graphics are nothing special, but after experiencing NBA Live '09 on Wii I was waiting for anything better to come along. This game is no NBA2K11, but I played it quite a bit so it I enjoyed it for the lasting appeal.

NBA 2K10 for the Wii can be summed up in four words: a great first try Let's get this out of the way now, though. The models and textures look a lot like Gamecube basketball games. The crowds are flat. If you're expecting visuals like Xbox 360 or PS3, shame on you, you should know better by now. If you own one of those other systems, it's pretty much the same game all around, only prettier on the Hi-def systems. This is a satisfying basketball experience. All the features on the disc for the other two systems are here. The game moves along at a decent pace, and it's basketball. 2K Sports included something that EA and any sports game not named Wii Sports should consider heavily; a Classic Control option. It's not the way the developers prefer you to play, as every instruction for the game is labeled for the wii remote, and even though the motion controls aren't as bad as EA's prior attempts at wii-ifying NBA Live, the Classic Control is the way to go. Minus, of course, the analog button control of the XBox 360 or PS3, it plays just like it should. It feels more like a basketball game without the silly, convoluted motion scheme. If you own a couple of Classic Controllers have at it. It's fun. I had no problems with the online component, even though I personally think the friend code system should die today. The auto-updating rosters and very accurate representation of team ability (fortunate for me as a Lakers fan) are in full effect. Bottom line; if you (only) own a Wii, and love basketball enough that you can sit through an okay game presentation-wise, it's a fun pickup.

I am so excited for this game. Yeah i know the graphics don't look good, but there miles ahead of nba live 09. I think the wii motion controls will work great, and if they don't it gives you the option to use a classic controller. My player mode will be so great, and online with wii speak(says it on the nintendo channel). Can't wait for this!!

This game looks like it could have been thrown together in 5 days. The graphics of the game in general look like they could be for a gamecube game OR MADE OUT OF LEGOS! The controls are not complicated; however, they are undersensitive. When shooting in the post, there is about a 2 second delay. DO NOT BUY PRODUCT.
