My Fitness Coach
I've had the game for 5 days and I absolutely love Maya! She is so real like. You can't get any better workout for the price and quality.( which are both great I must say.) I love the fact that it's not manditory for you to have ANY equipment, and if you choose to, the equipment she asks if you have are not expensive to get!! (Hand weights, stability ball or a stepper.) I got a great full workout. I admit I am not in the shape I was 10 years ago, and was reluctant to join a gym for fear of embarrassing myself in front of strangers, (now I can just embarrass myself in front of my children lol) now I can get in shape with the same work outs from expensive gyms without a monthly or annual membership fee. I just paid one price, and can stay in the comfort of my own home. My children are even enjoying Maya and her workouts. I am glad I made that choice instead of that expensive wii fit. This is the best game investment thus far( for me not just the kids) and I feel great after each work out!!
Better than I expected!
After having seen Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatium and been frustrated terribly I didn't have high hopes for "My Fitness Coach", but I bought it anyway. I was very pleasantly surprised! It's much more intense of a workout than Wii Fit. My only criticism is the animation when the trainer is speaking. It looks very poor. Otherwise it's wonderful. The trainer asks what equiptment you have avaliable and works them into your routine. You are able to select the workout type, intensity, length, background, and music. You also have the ability to unlock additional backgrounds and music. The exercises were very much like those you'd find on an exercise video, but the bonus is that they change each time you play. I feel like I got a great workout. I highly recommend it!
Waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy better that WiiFit
I have been using the WiiFit for about 6 months and had grown tired with the same ol' same ol' so I gave this a chance. From the initial setup to the actual work outs, I am an instant fan. I find the yoga a bit boring, but it will grow on me in time. The first time I used it, I worked out for an hour and I have been feeling it all day. I love it and have already started to tell all of my friends that they need to get it. I love the fact that the focus rotates from day to day, but I like to work all areas out everyday. There is no comparison to the WiiFit, which I love. This workout will have you sweating in no time and the occasional breaks are a real treat. My advice to anyone who wishes to tone up and lose some weight to give this game a try. I believe that it will have me bikini ready in no time. Of course, I plan on using it 4 days a week for 1 hour sessions. Buy it!

My Fitness Coach is great. This is a great way to work out in the privacy of your own home. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and already lost 1 1/2" around my waist and 5 pounds. The graphics are awesome and the "coach" really motivates you to keep going. You keep track of everything you do & you even get workout credit for activites you do without this. The intensity is awesome. I used to work out in a gym doing a body sculping class & let me tell you...this is way better. No two workouts are the same! The yoga section is great, my 10 year old daughter loves it. I would highly recommend that you buy this if you want to loose weight or just stay in shape. It even knows if you miss a workout! What video knows that? I was skeptical of buying it at first, but when I started using it, i felt the differnce immediately. BUY THIS!!!
I really like this product, worth the money!
This is a keeper. It is a great program to help you get started in losing weight or getting in shape. You set up your weight, inches, heart rate, and much more. You set goals for yourself and apply it to the program. You will make a schedule for yourself and it keeps track of your goals and your workout schedule. It tells you what you need to work on and what areas you need to focus on. It was worth every penny compared to other expensive workout programs and gym memberships. The graphics are not great, but when you are working out who is focusing on the picture. I think it has a great concept and really helpful product for anyone wanting to lose weight or to get in shape. You set the days you want to work out, time you want to work out, and what kind of music you enjoy. It tells you how many calories your are burning. It tracks your weight loss. It tells you what you need to achieve your goals. It is just a really neat program and a great price!
I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!!! Maya is great and very realistic. I love that you "earn" new locations and music by sticking with the program and following your commitment by coming back. I also love how she stops for rest periodically, which is helpful for a beginner, as well as the tutorial for new moves. I think it is great also that she will ask how you did with the segment and will adjust future workouts based on your reply. It is a great workout for beginners, but also challenging as you get better at the workouts. Another thing that I really like it that it displays the exercise you are doing at the bottom, and then you can see what is coming up. I also like that it shows the time remaining at the beginning of each new move, but it doesn't stay on. To me, that would make the workout go much slower if all I did was stare at the clock counting down!
I love this game so much!
I am so happy with this game, i have tried many other fitness type games and this one is by far the best. You feel results right away, it keeps you motivated and wanting to come back for more. I used to be a lot more active when i was younger, then i got sick and have been trying to get back to my heathy weight and body, this is the only thing that has got me to the point i needed to be. I actually look forward to working out again. I love that everyday is something different, it helps you work toward your specific goals and keeps your difficulty level up when you feel you need to increase it. This is actually the first fitness game i really felt like I was working out and getting the proper exercise that i needed and wanted. all the others never did anything for me. This for sure takes the guessing out of constantly having to switch up your workout so your muscles don't get bored! With this even if your working the same area of your body she gives you different exercises to do, so there is no more boredom and then you usually quit. I also love the scenery they give you, there are a bunch to chose from, so whatever your mood is that day, there is a scene for you! I highly recommend this fitness game to anyone that is looking for a great fitness game and really wanted to get in shape!

And buy this DVD. I have always preferred working out at home since I find it more convenient and private. However, I would grow bored with the fitness DVDs that I had and would go off track. Enter The Fitness Coach. Each and every time I used this DVD, the exercises were different and challenging. The instuction to each exercise is precise. It did take me awhile to grow from Bronze Level to Silver Level since I believe you have to workout 8 times in a row to earn that status. This DVD gives you the ability to use the following: heart monitor, stability Ball, Step Bench and Free Weights. There is a crawl on the bottom of the screen that sets you up for the next exercise and states the heartrate you should be striving for during the exercise. There is a button that you can press for a tutorial if you're not familar with the exercise. Since I have all that equipment, yes, I'm a thowback from the 80s and still kept my original Reebok Step Bench, it's even more fun. Yes, I said Fun. Maya(that's her name) has become a member of my family. The intro of the DVD is inspiring every time I start it. The music is fabulous. The Exercise Types Are: Yoga, Cardo, Upper Body, Lower Body, Core and Flexibility. Then you choose how much time you have to work out from 15 mins. to 75 mins. I always thought it was a waste of time if I only had 15 minutes to spare but I was wrong. You can still get an effective workout if you work smart and hard. The only Critical Mark that I have is that It should have a calendar which marks each day you work out to mark your progress better but I do it manually on my own calendar. All in All, it's worth every penny. Each day, I feel Stonger and Happier. Most importantly, after two months, I'm still intrigued and look forward to the next workout Maya has in store next time. Kudos and whomever made this DVD should make More of them! Perhaps A Billy Blanks DVD of Kickboxing!
I have finally found an exercise dvd that works to my expectations. I have joined a gym and wasn't motivated to go. I purchased the Wii Fit and wasn't pleased that it didn't offer more cardio. I read an article in a magazine and this product was highly recommended for giving an excellent workout. I have also read the reviews before deciding to purchase, and the reviews made a world of a difference. My main focus is weight loss and cardio. Maya will make sure that you are sweating and burning some calories. The best feature is the intermittent rest periods. That is a "must have" if you are out of breathe and need some water. I have even challenged myself to work out for 5 consecutive days and it makes that much of a difference. Each day is a different routine, and make sure to follow Maya's recommendation for that day. She rotates the exercises to really work all of your muscle areas and to also get your heart rate up. I absolutely love it and there is never a dull moment. I enjoy the challenges and can monitor my progress. When I started, my weight was 144 and my last weigh in was at 139. I know I should have lost another 2 lbs since then. A must have!
The best yet!
I always wanted that Jillian game from the biggest loser. I read the reviews and it didn't look so good and then I saw My Fitness Coach. Everyone was saying how good it was so I figured I'd buy it. I LOVE IT! It is seriously the best workout dvd/game I've ever had. I feel like the personal trainer is talking directly to me and though her comments can be a little excessive they really do help sometimes. It's like sometimes I want to stop and right then she always seems to say "don't give up now!" and I push through it. I feel great after I'm done and I REALLY sweat. The exercises are fun and mostly easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get back into/start exercising but doesn't feel motivated. She caters the exercises specifically to you and makes it so you can achieve what you want by asking you throughout the exercise so that she can make it easier or harder. I love this "game".
