Rated 10 out of 10 by JDMAC101 MLB POWER PROS THE WAY TO GO!
Many people look at this game and see it as a 6 year old's fantasy major leaguer game. Not completely true. This game will keep you on your toes as it is one of the most fun games I have ever experienced for the wii. All the 32 teams are there with complete rosters. The controls will be a bit difficult at the beginning but it will end up being hours of fun. I recommend this to even Major Leaguers. Great game for the wii. Everyone should try it. You will love this game because it has many options such as season and career where you try to make your own player (or) your favorite MLB player to become one of the greatest all time players. Also we can't forget the homerun derby. Many other options and you can also collect baseball cards and even create your own characters. Have fun and enjoy the game and don't give up on it. So remember if you are tired of the old baseball games and want to get back the feeling of being a kid and an adult buy MLB Power Pros 2008

MLB Power pros 2008 is a great game for all ages. Parents say its childish, but when they try it they have a blast. The MLB life mode is great because there is no end to it and you can be whoever you want, From Evan Longoria to Manny Ramirez. The Success mode continues from last year as you begin your minor league carrer with a double a team called the Green Apples. You meet new people, go to other teams, and you might even get a girlfriend. In the shop you can buy anything from Alternate uniforms to baseball cards. Season mode offers you being a gm for any major league team or a new expansion team. Make trades, sign free agents, draft new prospects, and play your way to the world series. MLB Power pros 2008 offers a lot so playing with your friends in exhibition is fun and wii remote mode is fun for the whole family. MLB Power Pros is lots of fun for the whole family so from exhibition to mlb life, this game is loads of fun

I love this game! I got the first one last year and loved it. My suggestion for people who haven't played it but think it looks really cool is to rent it and see if you do like it. Although the game doesn't use the wii remote to its full potential I think the controls are really good and easy to learn. One dislike that I have is the records pages isn't fully functional like I wish it was. The challenge is pretty good BUT if you have a modified player with his attributes all the way up then it is a great possible to hit a home run every time you are at bat. I did that with a player just to see what would happen in MLB life mode and I batted the first 30 games and i had over 50 home runs and 120 rbis it was insane... also it is an amazing game to play with your family too. I have a ten year old sister and we can play this game together for hours. ALL IN ALL this game is a 9 out of 10 and I love every bit of it.

I bought this game a year ago because I loved the first one! So I have played it ever since. This is one of my favorite games because of the game play. You can just pick up a controler and play between MLB Life (Which is really fun), Sucsess, Season, or just a game. Also I like the cartoon animation! When 2k8 tried to make really great lookin' guys it kinda looked weird for Wii (But on XBox 360 it looks great). So when you can take a cartoon guy in a game he can do a lot of things with out looking weird. I love baseball so this game really captures the baseball experiance. I would really recommend this! And one last thing, MLB life and Succsus are both awesome because you can make a character and take control on how good he does and try to make it into the majors/Become a legand. Rent it and see if you like it. Its worth it!

Yeah, it's cartoony, but that's what i wanted when I RENTED it. That's about as far as I took it when I actually played it, I was very disappointed that you couldn't use the full functionality of the Wii remote for every single mode of play. I would much rather play something like The BIGS for 360 if I were to use a controller. I was hoping Power Pros would be an amped up version of the dull baseball game on Wii Sports. But like the other reviews, the pick your faves and play every team is amazing, every aspect of the game is absolutely fantastic. (except for the overwhelming dialog between characters) The only problem is only being able to use the Wii remote in Exhibition and Derby. Maybe Nintendo will in the future consider this and make it more than just a SIT down and play video game.

This is a very good game. It is not very realistic with the players that dont have mouths, legs, or fingers but it is fun. There are many different games to chose from including home run derby and season. Also you can make a player and bring him up to the major leagues. Season is very fun with the option of dream draft, where you pick every player on your team in a fair major league draft. The controls are easy to get the hang of and it will only take a few practice games to get used to them. If you like to play realistic baseball games then you should get a 2K game. Other then the looks of the players and parks every thing is realistic. The rosters are of 2007 but you can edit and trade and make any player you want. If you like fun baseball games then this game is worth the money for sure.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Im just 13 cut me some slak Its better than the last one
I know that Mlb Power Pros was good , but this is even better!!!! Success mode is improved and you can take your created success player and put him into the new Mlb life mode. This is when your minor league contract from success mode comes in.Get chosen in the draft and your in a teams minor league system, until you work your way up to the majors. Also they added Ryan Braun, Jacoby Ellsbury, Evan Longoria, Joba Chamberlain, and all the other rook's. And they improved Dustin Pedroia and the other good players that used to be suckish . I suggest you get tis game if you like baseball. I know adults think its childish , my dad thinks it is too, but don't get fooled by the graphics , this game is very deeply detailed, right down to the disc.I love tis game and you will too.

I love this game and the power pro series, but this game was very fun, but contained some problems in it, like your mood in mlb life keeps going up and down, even if you are on a winning/hitting streak. Another problem was that the success story seems very hard to go to the next level, and for some reason, you can't stay in AA or AAA for 2 years. However, this game is the best due to the fact it keeps you entertained, the mlb life actually seems like how they do things in real life (usually), and the success mode is still very fun. Overall, this game is a very good game. Also, I hope they make more sequels to the power pros series.
Rated 10 out of 10 by MysticalSheep The best Baseball game ever
I am 14 years old, and i've had this game ever since it came out. This is really "the best" baseball game ever. It's awesome how you can customize your players and make them unstoppable, and make your own team from scratch. I'm wondering if i should make a youtube series of this game. Let me know if you would be interested in watching it. But they need to continue making this game. Very good game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been waiting for a good baseball game for the wii, and I don't think Mario Super Sluggers will cut it for me because of its childish exterior. This game seems much more defined than Wii Sports and shows a mode where you go through AAA and attempt to become a powerful major league player. Then there's the graphics, which will hopefully be better than the last version. I'm planning on buying this it looks great!
