Product Details:

The Galactic Federation's Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus must boot up the generator to restore the defense systems. But at the end of her path, someone awful is waiting for her.

The war initiated by Dark Samus and the Space Pirates rages across many planets as they attempt to corrupt each with Phazon seeds. Players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to explore alien landscapes, hunt for weapons and information, and destroy the seeds. Saving the planets from Corruption isn't enough, though. Eventually, players must take down Samus' mortal enemy, Dark Samus.

Besides using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to pull off amazing feats like aiming and blasting in midair or at a full run, players also will have an array of different weapons at their disposal. In true Metroid fashion, these will become powered up as the game progresses. Not only that, but the controller will be used for a number of other game elements beyond the traditional firstperson shooter standards.

  • You ARE Samus with Wii control!: By moving around with the Nunchuk and aiming Samus's gun with the Wii Remote, you'll do more than look through the eyes of Samus- you'll experience a quantum leap in first-person control. Fire on the run, grapple enemies and yank off their shields, or manipulate machinery with movements of the Nunchuk and Wii Remote - it all adds up to a level of immersion only possible on the Nintendo Wii, and the best first-person controls on any platform, period.
  • Corruption is everywhere.....Dark Samus, Samus's longtime nemesis, is corrupting entire planets by luanching enormous seeds called Leviathans into them. Samus must travel to multiple planets - each with unique alien landscapes and dangers - to fight the corruption and track several other bounty hunters, all the while fighting and spreading Phazon that threatens to take over her body completley. As it corrupts her, it also grants her incredible powers.
  • Enter Hypermode!: Samus will employ a never-before-used device called the Phazon Enhancement Device (P.E.D) that harnesses the Phazon within her and puts her into a state called Hypermode. In Hypermode, Samus can destroy Phazon impediments and annhilate enemies with superpowered weapons... but it drains her health to use it, and she risks utter corruption if she doesn't empty her Phazon meter within a certian time frame. You'll need to carefully balance your need for ultimate power with the inherent danger of corruption.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from long mandatory pointless nonsense at start Click here, click there, click there, repeat, etc. etc. Can't just start shooting the bad guys, no. You have to go through pointless actions of clicking different things in your space ship, and dragging puzzle pieces over to a thing, and then just long never ending tedious nonsense. After doing one irritating thing after another, I just gave up on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This game is similar to Halo 4 I don't know if u guys know this, but this game is Extremely similar to Halo 4. It's awesome!!! The only difference between Halo 4 and Metroid Prime 3 is that Halo 4 is rated M, and it is for XBOX 360, and POSSIBLY PS3 (Play Station 3).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I just didn't like this game. It didn't hold my interest at all. I'm kinda disappointed based on all the good reviews here. Everybody else seems to like it. I tried so hard to get into this game but just couldn't finish it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must for fans !!! Ok so i just got it today and so far AWSOME ...... If you have played any before you will love the third installment . Do not expect the graphics to be anything close to what the 360 or ps3 would reproduce but it is right on par with the rest of the Metroids .. Game play is a learning curve for sure but once you get that down its all out warfare and fantastic ....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game, could've worked on a few things. It was a great game overall, I enjoyed it, but the game itself brought up more questions for me than answers. Questions like why did all of a sudden Samus was working for the federation and talking to other hunters. The controls were a little hard to master, but eventually I got it down, died a few times trying to but i got it. The game itself is the odd one out though because it doesn't exactly feel like a metroid prime game, more like halo.
