Rated 9 out of 10 by bigmoose great game
Madden Nfl 10 for the wii is a great game. EA has made only a few errors on this one, and honestly it is a little better than 09. The camera angle is good, you still have the option to change it. 5 on 5 is still included, and just as fun as 09's. Huddle-up is a fun way to get together with a friend or two, as you have the ability to point the wii remote at an opponent and trip them up. Madden showdown is a great game mode with numerous options to turn the showdown into a wacky, fun football game. Road to the Super Bowl is great. It is somewhat like franchise only you can make it multiplayer. You still get to sign free agents and i think i remember that you get to trade your players. But, as always, there are a couple of downsides. The graphics for the field are great, but the graphics for the players are kind of awkward. And Superstar mode, I hate to say, is gone. GONE. But other than that this game couldn't get any better. I love it, even though EA needs to bring back Superstar.

Rated 8 out of 10 by James65 Refreshing arcade style Madden, I Love It
Madden 2010 for the Wii was very refreshing right out of the gate, the graphics in my opinion are very entertaining, reminding me of more of an arcade style Madden. I have other systems as well and decided to choose the wii version this year. This game is not a ten finger pretzel wrap like other versions I have. I am loving the point and pass, it is so cool, and to make awsome moves as a runner or defense only requires shaking the Wii remote, and simplifying an otherwise complicated game to teach to new players. I have yet to try the party games or more than one person on a team, but my friends are anxious to try it out with me. I found some awsome cheat codes for this game and now have Franchise and Superstar mode, only making me love my decision to purchase this title on the Wii more and more. So if your ready for some football with more emphasis on fun, than realism, this would be a great title to own!

I was stoked to go in and get this game. I was finally able to do it, got home, ripped it open, put it in and turned it on. That was where the excitement stopped. No Franchise mode which has been a staple of Madden since 98 on Sega Genesis, no superstar mode which I fell in love with in 09, and cartoony players. I realize I shouldn't expect PS3 quality from the Wii, but there is no realism to this game whatsoever. This reminds me of the old arcade game NFL Blitz without the fast-paced big hit action. There is also no John and Al, which according to some of the reviews is a good thing, but I feel it is a necessity of a Madden football game to at least throw in a few "BOOM"s here or there. All in all, I was quite disappointed in the style of the game. At least they have the new stadiums (Cowboys Stadium), but the rosters aren't even the Training Camp Day 1 rosters. This game leavs much to be desired.

Camera Angle: The camera angle is pretty good, I think you can change it like all the other systems so if you don't like it you can change it. Controls: The controls are pretty good this year unlike last year. But if you like last year's madden controls better you can change it to all-play. This year they have point and pass which is a lot better. Statistics: The actual stats are good but the player's numbers change sometimes. For example, WR with teen numbers if you edit anything with that player it changes their number to eighties and it won't let you change it back to teens and no one gets nineties after editing not even DT can have them. Some players aren't on the right team, for example Maurice Hicks played for the Vikings in 2009, but he got cut, but he still plays for the Vikings even after a roster update. Challenge: The challenge isn't very good I have it on Pro and I still won by 63 so if you're pretty good you might want it on All-Pro or All-Madden. Graphics/Animation: The graphics are very cartoonish but once I start playing I don't even notice them and you kinda get used to them after a while.

Rated 10 out of 10 by Tylerarmstrong This game rocks!
I just got this game the minute it came out and me and my friend played until 7:30 that morning. This game is so much better then the old ones. The hurdling over players is so much more realistic and the graphics kick ass. I think the saints and the eagles could use a little more overall percentage though. Designing teams is great but could use a little more emblem there is not much to choose from but that’s in my opinion. The instant replays are sic in slow motion u can literally see the exact yard line that the ball landed on and how hard the impact was from the hit. If you enjoy sports games and madden games i highly recommend getting this game. Even if you do not enjoy sports its still one of the best games i have ever played on my Wii Xbox Super Nintendo and laptop. After you reach halftime, the halftime clips of the first half are just awesome.

I love the madden series, been playing it for years, but I am very disappointed with this one. The playbook is the same (please change it), The controls are great point and pass and low hits. But for the pass few years when I get to my 2nd season the game starts to malfunction, I can't save anything at all and the control starts to go wack. I have calld EA Sports numerous of times and they have never heard of this problem with Wii users. I also called Nintendo and they have never heard of it either. Both have told me to just start over and try again. Is anyone else having problems? By the way this is the second Madden I have been through since it came out and I have had the same result. Thanks for the code I really enjoyed it. It made the game better. If you are having any problems with the game please call EA so that they can work on next years game.

Rated 9 out of 10 by UltimateGamer! Great game!
When I went to get this game, I was pretty excited. I thought that the past Maddens for the Wii were pretty good games. Although, I didn't like the play selection style for the past Madden games: Madden 08 and Madden 09. When I went to play a game though, I was partly dissappointed. I think as the Madden games for Nintendo systems have progressed, they have been making the graphics more and more cartoon-like. This isn't a cartoon! It's a real football game! Anyway, that was really the only thing wrong the game. I love the new selection between all-play, intermediate, and advanced controls! That makes the game easy to play for anyone (and trust me, I know some people who are really bad at past football games!). I would recommend this game for anyone who is a hard-core football fan. This game is awesome!!

Rated 0 out of 10 by Customerrrrrrr Things you need to know about Madden 10 for Wii
Okay, I saw some gameplay of this game, and here is what I thought of it: 1.Graphics during the game looked good actually. A closeup of Troy Polumalu looked bad (it looked like he was bloated) but in the game, they looked nice and smooth. 2. Of course, EA needs 7 year old features. You can add to the game some stuff like this feature called "fumblitis" when you can fumble the ball 3 times on one play. Another is "it's alive" where even if the ball is dropped, it is a fumble and you can pick it up. And the last one I'm going to mention is "all pass plays" and that is, obviously, all pass plays. You cant run ever, so your RB is useless. 3. I've had my Wii for about 3 months, so I don't know how it used to work, but once when I played Madden 08 for Wii, I don't think I remember this. When you pass, you have to move the cursor from the Wii remote to aim the pass, then throw. I remembered that you just had to throw in Madden 08. I could be wrong about this, but that's how it looked. All in all, I'm still a Madden fan, and I'll be getting this one because the Wii is all I have. But if you have a PS3, PS2, 360 for a console too, I'd get Madden 10 for one of those consoles.

Rated 7 out of 10 by Dengar13 A big adjustment...
This is a huge adjustment to make if you are used to the traditional Madden franchise. There actually is a franchise mode in this game, but the trick is it has to be unlocked first. You can enter the code "THEWORKS" which unlocks everything. You can select the offensive controls that you were used to last year with Madden 09 for the Wii, or you can select the all new point-and-click feature which is not as good in my personal opinion. The graphics have an all new makeover which I believe suits the Wii better than having dated graphics that look like they are from the PS2/GC era. All in all it isn't so bad, but like I mention in my title, it is a big adjustment to make to get used to. This is pretty nice for the casual gamer, but if you are a die hard Madden follower I suggest buyng this for the 360/PS3.

Rated 9 out of 10 by nydesertrat LOVE EVERY MINUTE!
This really is a fun game! It was exactly what I thought it was going to be... and that is awesome! The controls are really easy, but I wouldn't recomment using the "All play" controls. The advanced controls with directional passing will give you a better overall experience. The player design is hilarious! I think its so great that EA took this approach! Watching these enormous linemen mow down the QB is awesome! Game play is good, and all of the different game types and the madden challenge make it a great family and party game too. Online play is a bit glitchy, but it's still a good time! 5 on 5 is a great addition also! Perfect for a quick, fun game. If you "True Madden Fans" can get over this game not being the PS3 or 360 version, you will REALLY enjoy yourselves! Worth buying!
